Owner if you just admit you hate me I'll be cool with it, seriously its fine I've been through much worse mafia-relationships before.
I can't tell if you are trying to appeal to emotion or if this is a joke.
That was a joke.
Or was it.

By saying that you were tired, you excused yourself from the thread and haven't been posting here, until I voted for you and started talking.
That potentially means you were still around in the thread or "hovering". There could be a variety of reasons why you weren't saying anything, but I don't know. I might need to look at the Firefly game again to see if your posts in that game were as scummy as the ones that I'm currently seeing in this game.
Before you got here and after I told Jay that I'd do more serious and focused work on the thread tomorrow, I asked Epi if he meant that I was a filer position on his list of suspects or if he mean that I was on his list of suspects because I'd been posting "filler".

I'm starting to think Owner of a Lonely Heart just doesn't like me very much which I'm not sure how to take.
I respect you, but that doesn't mean I'll stop being critical of you.
Seems like you're constantly and exclusively critical of me, but hell I've got pretty thick skin I'll be fine. Anyway good luck with that I guess.

I didn't say I was done for the day, I said I'm tired and I don't think I'd be able to dig into the thread productively.
So you are chalking up any potential future badly typed posts "oh I'm tired" or "basically you are downplaying your ability"?
...no? What?

It's relatively late, my sleep schedule is fucked, and I win games when I troll you and refuse to add anything of value to discussion.

Not currently. I'm not particularly interested in digging into it and trying to squeeze the rock, so to speak. No juice there. Not worth my brain power. Moving on.
Understandable. Your next challenge is to create a rock more worth squeezing.

Seems like a dumb premise to me is all.
Like, am I supposed to believe that remark/spoiler was meant specifically for Juliets? Or that if you were bad with Juliets the first thing you talk about in BTSC is "Hey I haven't read all the books please don't spoil this specific thing for me" or w/e?
I dunno. Seems like a dumb hill to die on.
It probably is a dumb premise. Do you read any of the players involved any particular way as a result of that dumb premise?
Not currently. I'm not particularly interested in digging into it and trying to squeeze the rock, so to speak. No juice there. Not worth my brain power. Moving on.

This logic seems unsound. Do you mean that you pre-discuss everything you say in the thread with your teammates when you're bad?
There isn't any logic to it. I've been bad with juliets before, and juliets loves chat (see: discord). We would have been talking this stuff up, and juliets asks questions about things even when bad.
So my point is this:
juliets and I are not bad teammates together.
Use that. Work with it. Bye.

I'm going to have essentially zero time until Tuesday night or Wednesday. While I'm not here y'all best find excuses to do work and not excuses to do fuck all. Epi's recent grumbles are valid.
[VOTE:
Quin] aubergine, because he said some shit I didn't like earlier. He provided a token response to Epi's dig at juliets which just looked like "this is where I am supposed to interject with this here comment" instead of "this is a problem and I want to address it".
What was my dig at juliets?
I answered this already in response to juliets, you'll see it soon enough.
I didn't have a "dig" at juliets.
My comment was that we are not mafia partners because I like to discuss things with my mafia teammates, and I "spoiled" something for juliets (even though I PUT THE DAMN THING IN SPOILER TAGS), so we are not bad together in BTSC.
You don't have to believe that, of course, but I threw it out there anyway.
This whole discussion is primo levels of silly.

Yeah I've gotta be real with yall unless somebody outright fucks up and slips or somebody builds a damn good case, I'll probably default to a no-show as well.
The funny thing with this game is we might get some magnificent ties. Because if you're on a townie lynch that goes through, your house looses 2 points. So especially on day 1 if I don't have a good scum read, I would rather be a single vote on someone who's not going to die.
Oh good someone already fucked up. Thanks Luna :P

Thinking out loud, is there a way to math out who has what/who targeted who with what/etc using the potential House Points as a jumping off point?
Or would that require too much outing/claiming/bullshit to be worth anything in the long term.

What do Beaters do? It sounds... physical
Beaters smack around the Bludger (basically a big ol' medicine ball) with bats.
Which is I assume the key to understanding the joke in placing me in that position.

The story behind my Pottermore patronus is even more personal and sad and happy and cute than the story behind my knowledge of the books lol.
For anyone who wants to cry tonight or who wants a peek behind the Kayfabe of my mafia-persona.
For context, a "Patronus" is essentially the embodiment of a happy memory that wizards use to either fight Dementors (who feed off negative energy, fear, sadness, bad memories, etc) or sometimes they can be used to send messages or w/e. They usually take the form of an animal. Anyway...
So a few years (Like 8 or 9) ago I had this dog, some of you might remember from IRC chats or w/e. Fat Beagle that we got literally on a whim outside some gym or family/fitness center where they had a bunch of dogs they were looking to get adopted. This dumbass literally walks right up to me. I walk him up the sidewalk for a bit and then we both get tired and I sit down to pet him but he lays his head on my lap like a jerk. Hoo do I not love this guy and take him home lol.
Anyway he'd sleep with me every night and like, right up on my legs he'd curl up like a puzzle piece and fit right in there. Every night.
Then when he passed 4-5 years ago I got all torn up about it. And I dunno when the Pottermore site added the Patronus thing where you can go on there and answer some questions and it'll show you your Patronus with a little animation and let you play with it and watch it move on the screen or w/e but I remember thinking "You know what fuck it" after seeing everyone posting about it on Twitter so I go and answer the questions and I remember distinctly thinking "If this fucking website tells me my Patronus is a beagle I'm going to cry my face off" and sure enough the site said my Patronus was not just a dog (there were several types of dogs I saw other people have on Twitter so I know its not just "Dog" or "cat" or "bird") but I got a beagle.
Anyway that's why I believe in magic.
I remember that dog DH and how sad it was for you and your family and then for us on IRC when it passed. And how ironic that your patronus was a beagle. Now there is Storm and I hope he is doing well and I'm sure he is loved by the whole family, though I know he can't replace the one thats passed. Good story.
Oh Storm's great. And he's doing really well. We may even get him a friend coming up here soon which will be funny because he's so protective and such an attention hog but he's not got a mean bone in his body

I have an awesome awesome house of players!
I think the first book was my favorite because everything was new and unique. And truth be told I never got around to reading or seeing the last couple of books/films (I know, I should). So now I just have to look up which book was first (its been a long time).
Philosopher/Sorcerer's Stone.
