DFaraday, we lynched him in Dune and he flipped civ despite scum slips and other assorted obvscum behaviour. I played scum with him in TH and he played the same. I don't think you can lynch him on his in thread play. He is also real life friends with Luke and they are both totally new to the game.

What do you mean by Tranq's convenient death? Can you please point out the coached-sounding comments?

I do think Floyd is scum too, but I think you are opposing scum...
Despite never changing my style, I get lynched based on my in thread play all the time. :D

Tranq clearly had his eye on Floyd and was killed soon after. It could be a setup, but Occam's Razor suggests it was just Floyd trying to silence him.

Floyd, i went through your posts, looks like you started playing mafia roughly 1 month ago. What do you mean when you say "a vague reason is always a suspicious reason"? The always part. This doesn't seem like something a relatively new player would say.

I'm feeling ok with a vote on Floyd today.
Here Tranq points out that, for a new player, Floyd seems curiously knowledgeable about what constitutes a suspicious reason.

I'm more interested in Mac.

But i'd also like to lynch Juliets.

I felt his RIP for Luke was a bit odd, and paired with his vote for Nutella when the votes were very close makes me think he could be Luke's teammate. Also, Tranq went after Floyd (including a post pointing out a comment of Floyd's which sounded coached) and was summarily NKed. It could be a setup, but I think it's more likely that he's part of Luke's team.

And RIP Epi!

Okay that is good to know, what do you think about Floyd, Tranq did mention him a few times and voted for him, but I'm not sure if that plays into his death.

@Sorsha Any idea who might have killed Tranq?

I'll need to look over juliets, but I do think someone who mildly defended Luke or didn't vote for him and picked a solo vote is a teammate.

I think Floyd is a strong possibility for being Luke's teammate, given not only Tranq's comments, but Floyd's RIP to Luke and vote for Nutella when it was still very close between Luke and Nutella.

Matt F's defense of Luke and attempt to sway votes off of him catches my eye too.

I'm not really convinced by the Canuck case. She voted Luke early in the day, which seems like an odd strategy for a baddie teammate. Juliets is reading civ to me, but she always does. :shrug2:

For right now I'll vote Floyd.

I actually am planning to look over other people today (not to say I think you're civ now, but I have seemed a bit tunnely, looking back).

I don't see limiting our lynch options as a good thing, though. Suppose all the baddies are in the top half? That's unlikely, but it's still good to have the potential to vote anyone we suspect.

What is the case on Bass?

Know the reason I didn't vote for a double lynch was simply, it increases the chances that I could get lynched.
Pretty much mine and Epi's interactions with him recently. I haven't had that much time to catch up, so I am unsure of anything brought up about him prior to Night 3.
Thank you for your explanation. That seems fair. Can I get your viewpoint on why people want you lynched?
For Bass he only recently subbed in so not much information based around voting, posts etc

The reason people have attempted to lynch me is because when Timmer was NK night 1, I said what the mafia was doing (killing low posters) this lead some people to claim I made a scum slip of my teams strategy.
When I defended myself they said I was over reacting and my argument was suspicious.
I myself say it wasn't a scum slip and just the way I worded it. I also believe there is at least one scum maybe two on my wagon and pushing it. I think the other scum team also agrees with me and I say this since yesterday Zebra was killed and today the other team attempted to kill Bull's.
I'm still fairly confident there is one or two scum on my wagon, my personal thoughts is that Bull's is scum many don't agree so I could be wrong. If not Bulls it's very likely one of the others on my day 2 and maybe day 3 wagon is scum.
I'll look into that more myself later.

I hope you're not including me as a bandwagon voter, seeing as I've now voted you three days in a row. :p

You have so much going on in this thread that it didn't register much with me. Certainly your defense of sig hasn't made up as much of your post content as HB's has.
I don't see how percentage of content is relevant. This answer is dodging the issue.
It's relevant as far as expecting me to remember what everyone's opinions are. If I read a poem in which half of the stanzas are about sig and a Tolstoy novel which includes one chapter about sig and 65 chapters about everyone else, I'm more liable to remember the poem when I'm thinking of sig.

But since you seem to want my opinion of you, I do read you as a proactive civvie. I disagree with you re: Typh, but I think you're honestly searching for baddies.

Why do you need a placeholder vote? So if you conveniently forget to vote, you have a built in excuse if TH gets lynched?

Time to reread Zebra.
I use placeholders all the time, since I'm often unable to make it back before the end of lynches. I don't see anything shady about that. :shrug2:

In fact, I'm going to vote for Bubbles and Sig right now as placeholders. I think Golden raised some good points on Bubbles, and I don't feel that Sig has done much of anything to acquit himself.

EBWOP: Sorry if I missed it, Golden, but what makes you so sure about Sig? If it's just the bandwagon, that happens all the time in Mafia, and it's not necessarily an indicator of the targeted player's alignment.

Besides that I would be willing to lynch Canucklehead right know but it appears she is off the poll.
@BUGLABUSH current thoughts on the game?
The phrasing of this post bothers me... There's been one mafia kill all game, so how can you say what they're 'currently' doing? One point isn't even a line, let alone a pattern. It makes it sound to me like you know what the mafia's current plan is.
That's a very good point. Especially since, as Typh pointed out, the baddies have a limited range of kill options on any given night. And even if they didn't, Timmer is a very skilled and adept player even when posting low, so killing him for being a lurker is not the first explanation that would come to mind for me. Have Sig and Timmer ever played together before?

Also, I do have my eye on Canuck; I think Zebra made a good point about her pseudo-random vote on someone who already has two votes. The others caught my eye too, but of the Banana voters she definitely looks the worst.

I don't suspect Nutella for voting Sorsha or for not breaking the tie; if you don't feel any of the top suspects are worthy of the vote then you shouldn't vote them. If anything I'm more pinged that she's made two posts defending Canuck.

Mac, what did you find pingy about my post?

I'll go ahead and place my vote on Sig for now.
