So MM and Daisy thought I was a detective. I guess that means my style worked a little too well. It's so hard to walk that line as a Indy. On one hand you want to appear lynchable to the people with the night kills, and on the other hand you have to convince the town *not* to lynch you just yet. It's one of the reasons why I love playing Indy roles so much.

I also knew llama was L from the moment he tried to trick me into outing myself in BTSC. Luckily I was able to see through his ruse. I mean really... who would out themselves like that? :P

Good game everyone! I really enjoyed it as my first game back in a long time. I know you probably wont believe me, but I actually had a lot of my fellow Y-Groupies pegged pretty early on. Epi was the easiest to figure out.

I think MP did a great job capturing the essence of the show in this game. My only regret is that I didn't last long enough to fully use my role.

I'm going to vote now. Of the people I've brought up today (Made, Zomberella, DP) I think Made is the best bet in finding another mafia.

For the record, I'm of the opinion that the puzzle was both fun, and informative. I don't usually get involved in those ~ things, but I enjoyed contributing the odd word or two. I also think that high puzzle participation is less an indication of ones role, and more of a personal preference.

Right now though, I'm not inclined to go after Snowman. If his only other game was one he had BTSC in and he was a lot more into that game than this one, then yeah it'd make sense that he wouldn't have BTSC and thus be less participatory here.

As for who I'll vote, not sure yet. Being that over half the roles are not detectives I'm almost tempted to go after anyone who leaves me feeling weird. SVS seems a bit odd to me mostly that she just seems really agreeable (like in the willing to agree sort of way) with everyone, but maybe she's just in a really good mood. Of the main suspects, I'm most inclined to vote llama, I don't know in a way it feels like he's just trying to take advantage of an easy target. I guess I just don't get the Snowman suspicion at the moment.

I have a personally theory that people who are mafia post more smilies than people who aren't. It's because they think it makes them appear more genuine.

* Boo, totally defended Snowman. Epi brought it up, and boo didn't bother denying it. As far as we know, Sympathizers didn't know who Snowman was. But then again, part of his role is hidden and now we have a Magic Sock Puzzle telling us that there are more secrets that we can't see. So fuck if I know.

* Speaking of Epi, him and DH are cool people. They've been passionate about this game, and I dig that. Death Note is the shit, and Mafia is pretty cool too. But I think Epi has a bone that DH just can't stop chewing (That's how the saying goes right?). Stop chewing each others bones.

* Zeek had a back and forth with Zomberella a while back. I'd like to hear his thoughts now.

Did I ever say I suspected Made? I think I brought up a shady quote he made on day 1 or day 0. I'm not sure I ever committed to a full on suspicion. That being said, yes. I'm glad I decided to take a step back and give other people a chance to talk today. It's been very informative. Here are my thoughts as they are right now.

1. Can someone outline the case against FZ? I'm not sure I understand it. From what I've read of her post, she's made a solid effort to think critically and hasn't really said anything that stands out as mafia. What am I missing that has someone like Epi calling her his top suspect?

2. Speaking of Epi, I have no idea what he's doing anymore. I thought his "eye question" was innocent. I figured that since he's watching the show now, he just wanted to have some fun night cycle talk. But his initial response to people calling it otherwise was uncharacteristically flustered. And then there is the whole "I'm not going to out anyone." thing.

3. Boo. I have to agree with with llama on this one. I see his comments on Snowman as odd. While not directly contradicting his early statements, because you can define "non-participant" in a number of ways, his stance on Snowman still strikes me as odd. It feels like he's trying to defend Snowman, without being obvious about it.

4. Which brings me to Snowman. I'm likely to vote for him today. I haven't seen a single constructive post from him. He is clearly not silenced, so there is no excuse for that. Bea hit it on the head.

Here's the thing I find troubling about Snowman. Even with 10 pages of catching up, he had to see in the first page or so that he was getting heat. He was here tonight - and the whole thread rejoiced to hear his input. You'd think that would make him go "Oh, I should prolly get up to speed if everyone's so anxious to hear what I have to say."

And he jokes around a bit more and leaves. Nothing more about not being quite caught up and will finish in the am - nothing addressing *anything* that's been said about him. Some jokes and he's out.

I know Donner was unconventional because so many people keep saying it was. But ya'll lynched people in the game right? I mean, it shouldn't be too hard for a guy in his second game to figure out that more than one person suspects his behavior and he should prolly come talk about it right?

To me, that coupled with everything else that's been said about him. Make me think my vote is likely going there tomorrow. I'm willing to sleep on it. Because I always prefer voting a late as I can anyway. But yea. Not lookin' so good Mr. Snowman.

I don't think it was plainly false, as it was not something quantifiable. You cannot quantify "a chance" and you are attempting to do so. Ther may not be a fancy schmancy logical fallacy name for it, but it is not something that can be set into a true/false black/white framework in my opinion.
