Also, for those of you that don’t know me, or haven’t played with me in a while, I have a super quirky schedule. Although there are no Jewish holidays coming up, so that makes things a bit easier.

Similarly, I’m on vacation for a long weekend. Will be in the car for much of tomorrow. So will be slow posting until the evening.

Sometimes, I forget that the only kind of mafia game I’ve played (other than that one time when a bunch of us played in some game with assumed identities and it was weird) is not the online mafia others play. Where all these rules are just normal here. And then I wonder why people who weren’t the products of the lostpedia strand of mafia gaming (here, revolution, hedville, piano, in addition to Lp) consistently think I’m guilty.

Anyway, fun fact: FEB stands for fucking evil bastard. It was originally used to describe a former player named diamond dog (DD) (haven’t spoken to him in years, before anyone asks, but I think he’s doing well). I don’t remember who coined it. I don’t think it was me, although I certainly embraced it. And commissioned LC to design the FEB smiley. Modeled in part after DD, if you look close, it has a goatee.

Once upon a time, when we used pm for btsc on lostpedia, I definitely posted in a thread (I believe it was the shoe thread) instead of messaging my team. Grateful the host (Tokyo rose, I think) deleted it immediately for me.

And they were great in BTSC. Most fun hosting was angel mafia on piano. And they were our vampires, one of the 2 mafias, iirc.

And I forgot rev mafia existed until right now.

I played a game somewhere, lostpedia I think? not totally sure, where I started out a civ and then @Spacedaisy recruited me to her 3P team.

Then, the mafia recruited me to their team! I remember @Kate was on it and @Typhoony and I think aapje and maybe @Tranq. I remember the host but I'll let his name die a slow death lol. Anyway, I had to keep pretending to @Spacedaisy that I was on her team which felt horrible because she's like the sweetest person ever.

If I remember correctly we (mafia) won but the game was chock full of controversy lol! It was the most fun I had as mafia ever, I mean look at the characters that were on that team, but I felt sick about Spacedaisy.

That is quite a team! And I suspect we may be referencing the same player. Is his name the same as a shoe company?

But then, the mafia got a bit over confident, and one player on the mafia in particular who will remain nameless (stopped playing a long time ago--and IYKYK) was really being not nice about the whole thing. And was certain that they had won.

So, I messaged Bea to say--hey. I have an idea. And she went with it (xoxo). And we voted with the cigs and won them the game.

Said not nice player was VERY unhappy. But, well, that's what happens when you mistake the game for entirely stats and forget the human element.

At least I think it was @bea? This was over a decade ago. She'll correct me if I'm wrong.

That and my second game ever, when I was Tin Woodsman, a civvie with killing power, and killed multiple mafia to a win, are my 2 proudest.

Um…if we go over 18, can roles be added?

We are all lovely people! And I’ve literally made dear friends through this game. Dear friends against whom I sometimes plot.

But really, all you need to know is that I am always civ. Always. I’m never evil. And definitely don’t love being evil. Or neutral. Hate those roles. Yup.
