Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 8
I already suggested that MM might have been recruited by someone other than the Master. I think it quite possible that the Master doesn't recruit her but just finds her.Chris wrote:Thank you BWT.
That clarifies things.
So reading back through MM's posts, he knew he had to find The Master, and he had a last man standing win condition.
Ok, so that means there probably won't be any posts from MM where we can notice a difference in attitude.
LC. Who do you think would be the best option for lynch tonight? A Cyberman? The Master? Or the mystery recruiter?
LINKI @ Snow: No, not always... I'll admit... it's odd. I'm having trouble buying his story lately as well.
If I knew who the Master was I'd go for him. Otherwise a recruiter and third a Cyber. But any baddie is fine.
So hedge will possibly get my vote.

How long? Was your first suspicion fake or genuine? And why did you wait to be asked about this? Why not say in your first post after MP's death that it had been a ruse?keys56000000000 wrote:I was sure for quite a while, just faked suspecting him in the hope of convincing the bad guys that he might be lynchable, so they wouldn't straight-up NK him. Something is not right here.
But I think most of my suspicion is on Hedge. Roxy was recruited and cooled off on Hedge suddenly. I think she may be a recruiter.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 8
I've been thinking about recruiting and secret roles. Regarding recruiting I thinkn it's possible that Lucy saxon wasn't recruited by the Master. It doesn't say he recruits her just gains btsc. I think she was recruited by a third party. Not that it matters much I suppose.
Possible recruiters? Davros, maybe for daleks. Rasilon may be a role or the Tardis itself.

I'm not sure if you are pointing my spelling error out or if you have never had Thai Curry. If it's the first case - well done. I'm kina surprised that's the only one I had tbh. If it was the second, Thai Curry is curry from Thailand. So its like Asian Curry and is super yum. Much like Indian Curry but it's kinda like a stir-fry curry blend.
On a completely unrelated note - BDH and I are going to this PHX Fan Fest thing in December to celebrate our first anniversary. It's basicly a lite version of PHX Comicon. Aaaaaannnnyway - we just found out Colin Baker and Paul McGann are going to be there!!!!!![]()

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Night 7
Like i said just a short while ago. Maybe the Valeyard can recruit if he is a secret role?Chris wrote:Some thing that give me pause on my "MP is The Master and recruiting everyone in the game" theory...
- The 2 remaining unknown roles. (It says "secret roles", plural, in the roles list. There are 29 known roles, and 31 players)
- The Master's secrets appear to be completed, and say nothing about recruitment other than Lucy Saxon.
Now, it does say "Due to his strong ability as a hypnotist, once in the game he can force every night action that night to be randomly redirected to someone other than the original target." Hypnotist could lead me to believe he can then recruit people... but I think I'm reaching there.
So does that mean there is ANOTHER Indy role that is unknown and secretly recruiting players? (That would be 1 of the unknown roles)
And then could the last unknown role be the body that the CyberHead is looking for? I didn't think so, since the head finding the body would give the head more votes, but that would also give the body a vote to add to the CyberMen as well. I felt like that didn't add up... but I suppose it's a possibility.

Hi folks. Just read a few pages and it's late here. For me it's between Chris and Roxy. Yes Chris keys, stare as much as you like. There are many uncertains about Chris though. He's all ovre the place in his posts. I admit Strax could have failed because he is civ, or another reason, being the master for example as previously opined. I take no notice whatsoevever of keys certainty he is civ.
Roxy i have already had my suspicions of. she hasn't answered a single one of my posts. i feel she is bad. maybe a cyber herself.
I will have a shower and think about this.

Done a read through of MP and i think i trust him. Roxy i don't. She didn't want to follow epi's well reasoned suspicions of Enrique because she didn't trust him. I will not follow Roxy's suspicions of Epi because i don't trust her. Besides, i think it is reasonable to apply some logic to the votes being made, read the roles and come to those conclusions. don't forget IT ISN'T PROVED YET THAT MADE WAS THE DALEK EMPEROR. Are you confirming he was Roxy? It seems that way.
Anyway, tired and need to sleep. I will vote Metalmarsh as I just don't think civ. I think MP is spot on.

You shouldn't expect me to change it, unless you can come up with some amazing reason, because at this point your posts have been increasingly incriminating.
I don't think Enrique's vote was an obvious save attempt at the time, but on reflection, it seems like it was his idea to "save" Made and leave his lynch-stopping power for another day.
I don't think you're realizing that Enrique could not just do a 180 on his opinion of me even if it was the better choice at the time. That's a great example of a baddie getting locked into their opinions, whether they truly believe them or not. So... I don't understand why you're harping on that, since it makes no sense.
Also he did a 180 on you later, and Dana as well.

I was curious about Roxy's sudden change of heart and being SURE that Hedgeowl was bad to voting Made and now her single minded certainty about Epi 2. Now she refused to vote Enrique because of she didn't trust Epi, even though his case as pretty good imo. This is something Chris noted at the time.
First she wasn't sure about Made, but to possibly? save Enrique she dropped her Hedgeowl case and went for Made for playing differently.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Night 4
The assumption works both ways MP. If he is civ he is safe if we don't try to lynch him. The assumption is based on observation though.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Night 4
The way Enrique and Made voted seemed to me they were team mates with Made being unlynchable. Made voted himself to make as sure as possible Enrique didn't get lynched.MovingPictures07 wrote:Seems pretty likely that Made is bad, but I find it interesting everyone is jumping to conclusions. He very well may be the Dalek Emperor, or even The Master, but I see one civvie role that fits exactly the behavior that he was claiming (he wasn't sure if he'd survive, but he knows why he did). Funny that people are ignoring that option.
If he is Dalek Emperor and were targeted with an NK, he would die. If he were that civvie role, then I suppose he could die or live, I don't really know. And if he is The Master, then surely he would survive. So... whether anyone wants to target him with an NK, I don't know if it makes sense to or not. But it's up to them.
