Re: MAD MAX: Night 5

Dom, this is a pretty recent post from Scotty about you: I know Day 1 is gonna Day 1, but this singular post sticks out to me now: I do not suspect Elohcin. Unprompted. I get people make mistakes but this here is a pretty standout declaration. Dom's voting record: MP, MP, MP, indi, Missed vote. This tunneling can be easy to hide behind as a Baddie. Somebody wanted MP dead. Even when MP routinely called him moderate town on his rainbow list. The post I quoted tells a different story. Any reason why you want to contradict everything I say? It's almost like Scotty doesn't care what's right or wrong...

Re: MAD MAX: Night 5

Yikes. Sorry indi. Back to the drawing board for me. I'm not sure this makes Sloonei look better, but it doesn't make him seem worse. at this point, I'm just sitting in the balcony, feeling salty, detached, impotent, and utterly indifferent to this game. I'm like Statler & Waldorf, combined into one physical body. #avengeindi #mpdidnothingwrong #boldplay Who do you think is bad? Glorfindel. Honorable mentions to Dom and Lorab. Those are my three biggest suspicions, in that order. Why Dom and LoRab? I'm not versed in either of them this game but I'm open to hearing possibilities. LoRab choosing to vote you because you "neenered" her sticks out to me. It wasn't even clarified that she thought you bad, but because she was neener peeved. This is Scotty's last post on me. for the record...

this!!! Please answer his question. OK-- forgive me-- I'm thoroughly exhausted with this thread, but is this about me or motel room Both of you. Any dialogue between you will help me read you both. Which question? When you said "what the hell" to his vote switch from you to Glorfindel, he asked you: [so what are you saying about my switch? I'm saying I don't see reasons between actions. Moved to glorf. I have a meeting in 10 and a shit ton of ppl behind my desk. I'm a bit swayed by Dom's yelling. Not voting Sloonei. Lets try glorf. For the record who didnt switch to Dom despite reading him bad? Literally what teh hell Is this a question? I'm not sold on the yelling-loudly-is-town defence so what are you saying about my switch? It's not yelling loudly. It's being harassed by two players for two straight days. Constantly being "misunderstood" (like when Quinn "misread" my statments and lied about Mac's stance on me). Constantly being told I didn't post something I have. Motel room-- why did you vote for me in the first place? That's a question you've yet to answer. ALSO http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1161&p=305992#p305992 Here's Quinn saying, two days ago, that I need an ISO. Later, he piles votes on me for literally no reason. I'm going through the question that you couldn't be bothered elaborating on Dom. Quin have you seen me lynched before? I don't remember if I have. <<SNIPPED BECAUSE WBESITE>> Glorfindel is alive, so this question seems entirely pointless from the get-go. Dom is expecting information that Sloonei may not even have. Just like how you only supported it once JJJ did show suspicion of me. You are bad. You are badder than bad. You and Quin are so transparent. I also literally said what the contradiction was in a post that you responded to-- more evidence that you're not even reading my posts. You and Quin don't care what I say, as long as it ends with me having hte most votes next to my name. What the hell do we think of motel room jumping on me the second it's convenient? I am reading your posts. They are not making sense to me. I am asking questions so that you will make better sense to me. I never voted for you. I was never firmly on your bandwagon. Re: MAD MAX: Day 6

In fairness to Dom, I do think he has explained his perceived contradiction well enough. He views it as contradictory for Sloonei to ask Epignosis The Question when he had not answered the question directly himself when Dom had asked something similar. One can debate how suspicious this actually is, but I don't think it's ridiculous to call it a contradiction. Is that it? I feel like I did answer the question. I responded to Dom's question as if he was asking me the same question I was asking Epi, since that was his point I think. So I took it as "Who are you suspicious of, and who comes after that?" I think I've answered that thoroughly today, if not directly to him. I made a rainbow list, gave a full list of GTH reads, and did your Townie exercise. Would you not agree that I've thoroughly answered the spirit of his question today? I think you're approaching this scenario incorrectly if you believe "answering the question in spirit" means anything to a person who suspects you for a perceived failure to answer a question. His question was in direct dialogue with you, and anything short of an answer in direct dialogue with him is likely to be something he notices. Your actual answer to his question was only barely an "answer". His prompt implied that he expected names from you beyond Glorfindel, and you didn't give him names. You threw the widest possible net over literally everyone else. You don't see how that can be perceived as a bad answer? I suppose so, but like I said, I also think the question is bogus as he's doing it in an effort (I think) to highlight that my question to Epi was unfair as he perceived it. But his perception of my question to Epi is incorrect. I answered his question in the way that I expected Epi to answer mine. I also could reject that it's a contradiction because I never ever said I expected Epi to answer my question to the extent that Dom is hounding me for, and I even said that I was satisfied with Epi's response at one point last night. Why did you hold me to name more names but you literally STILL haven't given me one...

One can debate how suspicious this actually is, but I don't think it's ridiculous to call it a contradiction. I don't. He has constantly neglected to explain why . Everything I'm reading from his dialogue on the issue is 'He contradicted himself' 'I just explained myself' 'You are bad' The first thing he did when I asked him for his case was accuse me and Sloonei of coordinating an attack on him. Your three line post has done a better job of explaining than he has this entire phase. If I want to figure out what The Question is I'm going to have to read back, which is not something I expected I'd have to do. no it wasn't. I've been talkinng about this case for two days straight. It's not my fault you can't read...

Re: MAD MAX: Day 6

I am principled. What do you mean by this? I am consistent. Dom, we still have over an hour until the deadline. That's an eternity by EoD standards. I think you have ample opportunity to go back and critically analyze some more things rather than lashing out at the cases against you. Note that I still have not voted for you. I'm trying to get more critical analysis and expanded thoughts out of you. I am not trying to bury you. How the hell aren't you trying to bury me? You are lying about me in every post. I didn't think of you as a top lynch candidate until quite recently, and now there is too little time for a thorough ISO. How about this: What do you think is/are the best reason(s) you should be seen as a townie? I am principled. I have tried my best to determine who is bad. I have been wrong and owned it. I have tried and failed and have no one supporting me right now. I asked you to show me the contradiction in Sloonei's post and you flung poop at me for not giving you a 'proper' ISO. Re: MAD MAX: Day 6

Dom, I made this post primarily for you. Have you looked at it yet? And I also need to address the idea that my "Who are you gonna vote for?" question was some sort of far-fetched framing scheme of mine. Here's the original post, right at the start of Day 6: Epi, who you gonna vote for now that Mr Mac is dead? Quin, who's your supposed 3 person scum team? Note the second question addressed to Quin. This is just a light conversation-starter type of post. I'm just peppering the two players I can see in the thread with standard mafia questions. These are really the same question: "Who are your suspects?" But, as I am a player who asks a ton of questions in this game, I get bored of typing the same words over and over and over and over again, so sometimes I like to spice it up! I throw whole new, colorful sets of words at people! One way that I like to do this is to ask people "Who they're voting for" instead "who they suspect". Don't believe me? Here's some more examples from this game : Who are you gonna vote for, Mr Quin? link righty-o who you gonna vote for, champ? link Who do you want to vote for, mac? link (admittedly the context is a little different on this one) Who you gonna vote for, Dom? link You didn't ask any of those immediately after their top suspect died. So what? I am genuinely lost. I don't want to distract from everything else that's going on, but if you could, can you lay out your case against me? I know you feel like it's obvious, but maybe I'm just dense. I genuinely have no idea what is going on in your head with regards to me right now. I think you tried to set Epi up for an easy lynch. Epi and I lay out arguments against Mac. Epi was more vocal. Mac is night killed. Minutes later you come in, "HEY EPI WHO YA VOTING FOR NOW HUH HUH HUH?!" It reeks. You evaded my questioning on the matter and you then contradicted yourself in your answers. "Glorfindel 'til I die" you say? Or change your vote like 4 times. You have zero principle and seem only interested in lynching someone , not a baddie...

I only see Quin as your non-Sloonei prominent suspect, do you have others? I don't have a photographic memory to recall every post you've made. I'd think if you're looking to vote me you'd look at my posts. Dom, could you let me know what some of your baddie games have been here? I can't remember any examples of you being bad in games I've played. A World Reborn Star Wars Arkham Most of the games in the last year. Moved to Sweet Dom Who are you and why are you voting for m...

Re: MAD MAX: Day 6

Why are you pretending like I haven't explained this? I have no reason to "pretend" anything. Are you accusing me of something? No, AND I don't intend to, however, I have spelled this out multiple times. I'm telling you that your multiple times have left me feeling that your beef with Sloonei is frivolous. That's currently your best motive for a vote as of this sixth day phase of play after having spent the entire game previous apparently empty of opinions related to Sloonei? My top suspect died. Dom, I honestly have no idea what question you want me to answer. I answered your question of who I'd vote for. Then I voted for two other people. I've made a lot of posts sharing all of my thoughts on everyone in this game today. Look at them. Your answer was "anyone else" That's not an answer. Suddenly I'm looking at Dom's posts and seeing baddie everywhere. ~ Attacks MP from the first moment of the game and almost never lets up ~ "MP is buddying up to me because he listed me as one of his 7 greens" ~ Unexplained off-hand defenses of Elohcin ~ Three off-wagon votes in a row in the first three day phases LOL o...

Re: MAD MAX: Day 6

Dom: Prior to Day 6, you made no conclusive (or even inconclusive) read on Sloonei that I can find. You interacted with him a few times, but you never stated a read. Now you've joined Epignosis immediately on this day with a vote based upon what looks to me like something frivolous. Why? Why are you pretending like I haven't explained this? Sloonei STILL hasn't answered my question. Gth explanation and reasoning. Dom - bad - I have no memory of any posts or opinions from Dom and this doesn't sit right with me. Be it my inability to notice or him sitting back and to playing much, I wouldn't know. . this sounds like a you problem and not a me problem. Who out there objects to a Dom lynch? Me. This was my answer to your question, Dom. Please point out the parts of it which you object to: Sloonei who are you going to vote for? if they die who are you going to vote for? if they die who are you going to vote for? Quinn: Citation needed that Mac didn't like me. I am currently voting for Glorfindel until further notice. I am also considering everyone else. This doesn't answer the question in any way that is useful. AGain, why is Epi fully responsible for knowing who he's voting for the second his top suspect dies but you are not? He's not and I never said he was. Will you answer my damn question or nah...

Re: MAD MAX: Day 6

This is non-sensical. What is nonsensical? That's a strong word. Quin admitted that he read my post wrong. Why are you taking issue with me being very confused as to why someone was arguing with me when we seemingly agreed? @Dom: What if you reframed people you perceive as lying as being mistaken? And things being nonsensical as being different from what you'd think? I don't suspect you currently, but your posts seem to unfairly target folks. I think if you step back, their posts may seem more innocuous. Also, that may allow you to find more suspicious behavior. I think it's posible Quin was just mistaken, sure. I just am watching out for Quin now. That was pretty blatant if you ask me, though. What are you even talking about? I didn't suspect either of you until Day 6 Why do you suspect them now? Sloonei: afraid to answer questions he asks Quin: lies. Please point to specific examples. Sloonei: Asked epi who'd he'd lynch IMMEDIATELY after his biggest suspect died. Was clearly peeved he didn't get an answer. When I asked him who he'd lynch if Glorfindel died, he had no answer. Quin: Said Mac suspected me. Mac did not. wait what? Is this really how you interpreted that exchange? This is nonsensical. Yes. I asked you who you suspected and you did't even answer the question. You said you'll owrry about it after Glorfindel is dead which is about as non-town of an answer as I'd expect...

Re: MAD MAX: Day 6

I'll get around to doing those ISO's today. Maybe more if I have the energy. In the meantime, I have a nasty ass rash under my armpit that's damn near impossible to ignore and I need to do something about it XD I would also like an answer to this. No, I didn't know that the post you quoted even existed. When did you replace in? TBH, if you want to make a claim why not research it at all? That's not what you asked. And you didn't answer my question(s). I have a funny way of saying things. Yes I did. Did you? Why expect Epi to have a next suspect to vote when you didn't name one if Glorf was suddenly dead? I wanted to hear his thoughts. He gave them. I am satisfied with his response for now. Who are you considering voting for? You, Glorf, Quin, Lorab, and Scotty. Am I on this list for anything that happened prior to an hour ago? The answer is no. That is not what you have interpreted from the text...

Re: MAD MAX: Day 6

Quin-- no. I'm sure you wouldn't mind elaborating on your read, in that case. Why? I said what I feel is relevant. I didn't suspect you until Day 6. I didn't suspect Sloonei until Day 6. What elaborating is there to do? Quin-- no. I'm sure you wouldn't mind elaborating on your read, in that case. Actually, I'm voting for you until you do elaborate. This is the only game related post you've written to or about me prior to my post yesterday, and I'm not even sure about this one because I don't know which paragraph you were referring to: @jjj: to answer your query about your first point, I agree. I also think it makes it highly unlikely that Elo had BTSC with glorf. Or Quin for that matter. Do you feel there's anything to be said from that about indiglo, the other replacement? Can you spell out what you mean here? Elohcin said she thought a baddie would be replaced before a townie by priority, which she used against Quin since he replaced in first. I wonder if Elohcin thought to say this because indiglo was the actual baddie replacement and she came second -- against Eloh's expectations. Ah. Lynch Indi/INH. I'm not buying what you're selling. This is non-sensical...

Lorab's insane level of tunnel-vision is getting to the point where I'm beginning to find it legitimately suspicious, although I am quite biased when it comes to her. Dom's felt blendy except for his quixotic quest against MP which I never liked or agreed with. It felt like a pet case designed to prevent Dom from having to actively take a stand. Defend this claim. Sloonei, you really like asking people questions, so I'll ask you a couple. What's the biggest thing you've done to benefit the civilian cause? What's the biggest thing you've done to unintentionally hurt the civilian cause? Ask questions to stoke the ongoing conversation. Push mislynches of town players. What value do these questions serve? Just stokin' the conversation. Funny that you get defensive when someone asks you questions literally 2 sentences after you talk about how much you love asking questions. I do agree with this. It's hte point I made earlier. I have no issue with that post. Glorfindel is always one to thoroughly and precisely put his words together to minimize misinterpretation, and that's how I interpret that. this...
