You've twisted circumstances (such as my availability and legitimate issues I was experiencing) to give credibility to a case that is frankly non-existent. I offerred my G2H reads and I gave them. I've done my best to support my lynch choices with some semblance of arguments but that has not any point been sufficient to quell your suspicions of me. Others have not cooperated with you anywhere near as much as I have and where is your scrutiny of them? As I said earlier, nothing I could say is ever going to convince you. I trust the remainder of the Town can exercise a little logic and objectivity for the vote this Day phase.
I have a few points about this:
1) You've changed your tune from saying that you are grateful for my consideration and cooperation to saying that I am "twisitng circumstances" You only care that I stop pursuing you, not that I find a baddie.
2) I have other suspicions, so don't erase that. I am very suspicious of sprit who has done nothing to cooperate with me.
3) I have brought up and agree with many points against you that you are not even beginning to mention here:
--"obvious civvie"
--Playing the n00b card saying everyone's out to get you because you're new

Glorf, you have taken a quite hostile tone with me. Why?

Basically, I agree with what's been said already - the well of newer players being Mafia has dried up. On the law of averages, you'd have to assume that there are one or two more experienced players involved as part of the Mafia families.

On that note, some time ago I was playing a Mafia game where (as Town) I'd concocted this theory on the guilt of one of my fellow players based on their use of certain punctuation in their posts. I was absolutely convinced of their guilt and put my case to the rest of the players in that game. Needless to say I got laughed out of town and rightly so, I was completely wrong. Now please don't misunderstand me here - I fully respect the ability of each and everyone of you, my fellow players and in particular S-V-S. I know we had that run-in early on over my post that you thought was too carefully worded. I think that case was pretty thin (more so than the one I described above) and what's more, it was wrong.

I found your argument with Golden interesting and for better or worse, I think his judgement is pretty good from all accounts (after all, you don't win all those Socky's for nothing). And then, in the dying shadows of dawn, you started accusing me again. You said that you would vote for me because I am not direct in answering questions - and that may be true. I do the best I can to contribute fully and respect each and everyone of you in the face (sometimes) of some considerable provocation. You would do well not to misjudge me for that.

In terms of my vote right now, I think it will be S-V-S. I have an open mind and if someone comes up with a better case before tomorrow morning, I'll happily consider it.
Side stepping my question for four paragraphs and then spending two sentences answering my question is one way to make me think you don't really want to answer my question.
I've side-stepped nothing my friend. You asked me to nominate for whom I will vote and I've answered your question. I've tried to give you (and others) insight to my thinking on this matter (with plenty of notice prior to the EoD for your consideration). It is apparent to me that your mind is made up about me Dom and I promise you that you're wrong. I doubt there is anything I can say to change your mind but I trust my fellow Town colleagues will not fall so blindly for the poor excuse of a case against me as you have.
My mind is far from made up. You spent four paragraphs avoiding my question and then answered it in two. You also switched between addressing myself and SVS throughout the post, thus making it even less substantial of a response. You just say you will vote SVS, but don't give a reason. I've gone back and found very little on your suspicions, especially since you've started taking heat. You have struggled to come up with lynch candidates as alternatives to yourself. There was a significant delay in your answer to my question and the answer didn't really give a full response.
So, no, don't turn this around on me and say I've made up my mind. You made up my mind.

Yes, Dom - I do. I am experiencing some technical difficulties here at the moment that are making posting incredibly annoying. I am trying to address these issues as quickly as I am able but given that I want to post a considered case to support my vote, I trust that you will bear with me in this.

I also appreciate your perspective on the comparison of my posts and playstyle in previous games but I would counsel Juliets not to abandon her views too easily. As bea commented to me some days ago, sometimes having that 'distance' from people and events can prove more revealing than you might think.
So... who? If you can write this post you can surely write a name of someone you'd like to lynch and a few reasons why.
Exactly so; if I vote for Glorfindel, it will not be for his compartive meltdown status between whatever game and this. I am the last person to judge someone based on this sort of thing. If I vote for him, it will be becasue he is not very direct when asked a question, and he attempts to couch suspicions of him as being based on his demeanor rather than on his content when that is not necessarily the case.
I agree with him. I think this is evident in my last exchange with him. I asked him who he'd like to lynch. He acknowledged the question, did not answer it, said it was hard because of technical difficulties, but continued to talk about something else.

Timing of SVS vote for Mac, mostly. I feel almost like doing a patented G-Man Balaam voting analysis. It doesn't hurt that I already felt like SVS was bad before that.
How about this little conspiracy theory then (which I realize goes against my previous declaration about SVS).

SVS likes to nightkill inactives when she is bad. Not always, but she does. Frisky Dingo is an example of this.

Bea was nightkilled by the Maroni's on Night 4, the team sabie was on. I asked this when it happened. SVS replied immediately "I don't know".
This reminder is really what makes me think SVS might not be bad, despite evidence for it. I think SVS would have killed more inactives by now.

The fact is, it's easier to dismiss the arguments of a newer player over those to whom you've had a lot of game exposure.
I know this was directed at Golden but you allude to it being directed at other players as well, and it saddens me. I don't think Golden is on a witch-hunt against newer players and I don't think anyone else is either. On Day 3 I led a lynch against a player I've played with on-and-off for 8 years. On Day 4, 16 players voted to lynch the creator and administrator of the site. If people are finding you suspicious, it is not because you are a newer player, and suspicions toward you are not indicative of suspicions against all new players. I hope you don't truly feel this way.
This. And may I add current suspects include:
-Matt, a veteran player
-SVS, someone I've played with for at least six years at this point

So... this is in addition to:
-Sprit, a newer player
-Glorfindel, a newer player.

This argument that there's a witchhunt on low posters is one I usually join, but is fallacious at its root.

SVS, what do you think of my other suspects then? I mentioned several others I find either just as or more suspicious as you.

I won't take any beer, but I'll gladly bring my own wine. :D

These two posts are what I'm talking about.
Now, this is not NEARLY has manipulative or guilt trip inducing as posts in A World Reborn (I'm thinking of the sad bear post), so I'm not nearly as convinced. What do we think of this?

If I had to pick who might be Sabie's teammate(s) between LoRab and SVS, I'd say maybe SVS. Between those two and Matt? I'm not liking Matt these days. I think Glorfindel is acting very bad and sprit is bad too.
You, probably more than anyone, knows how much I hate getting in trouble with MP. But OK.

Go ahead and lynch me. I won't fight back. I have no reason to.
That isn't what I said and not the post I referenced.
In fact, the first post I referenced does not even have to do with your reaction to Mac. It has to do with you saying you'll just hang around until someone makes you role hint. I agree with the sentiment of the post, SVS, but the tone and timing make me wary of you.

Additionally, I listed several suspects I am looking at harder than you, for you to pick just this out of my post is unnerving.

i already explained that to you earlier, i legitimately felt offended by what you said to me
When you felt discredited by me, that was not okay.
When you attempt to discredit me by using the same tactics others have in that in this game it IS okay?
Got it.
sprityo wrote:quite honestly turnip, im just so freakin lazy. like i'd have to sit down out of my 4 hours i get to personal time out of the week to actually build a case on someone, and im just a terrible player for it, dont get me wrong, i could do it but like, i dont really need to in this game anymore? i mean cause ~reasons to be revealed upon death~
Epi would have a field day with this.

Nice role claim, where'd you get it?

He did that thing again where he brings a case forth and votes for it all in the same breath after spending the rest of the day not talking about his reads.
Unlike some of you, I have a full time job and other commitments that mean I can't spend every waking minute here. I do my best to contribute to this game and again, unlike some of you I am uncomfortable lynching a fellow player without some semblance of a case against them. I'd like to think that especailly as we get deeper into these games I prefer to substantiate my lynch with a case based on at least some kind of loose logic and to do so takes time. You may not have seen this from me because I think this is a personal best for me reaching Day 6 in one of your games but like it or not, it's how I roll.
When did you get so judgmental? When did your politeness turn into a sour attitude about working? I student teach, have two jobs, take two classes, and have a social life. I post here too. It does not make me better than any one else who posts here. So, this lashing out is very suspect to me.

Matt, I clearly misunderstood your point. I thought you were saying Equivocate and Floyd etc hadn't interacted with her.

Re: Arkham Mafia [Night 5]

Matt, why did you name people who are essentially no-shows or haven't talked in 4+days?

Because most other people have talked about sabie to some extent?
