I just feel like Dom was leading a bandwagon against me by drumming up suspicion. It seemed very purposeful but I could be wrong.

It focuses on something SVS said as well, which is another part of the theory - that borok read as someone without BTSC. As a new player, if you had absentee teammates, that would fit in my mind, as you would be virtually without BTSC. This is after a reread of AP, so there are a few more pieces of the puzzle I'd like to put together, but that's where I'm currently at.

CBK, I am not sure where your suspicion of me comes from, but I can assure you it is unfounded. Though, being that this is a mafia game - where paranoia must rule, I can also understand it 100%.
Interesting theory. I have wondered about LT, especially due to her absence. I don't think it's her absence that is telling as she hans't been around on RM either. But you could be onto something here.

Actually, it is more worrisome in the end game. At that point, everyone should have real suspicions and opinions on almost everyone. Not wanting to voice those suspicions, and thereby take suspicion yourself from those you suspect or those that trust them, is a fairly overt baddie tell.

The fact that you are saying this actually makes me feel better about you.
Agreed. It's always only a matter of time before someone decides to start randomly going after low posters, especially to save themselves. I'm certainly leaning Borok right now.

And for the record, I am actually buying CBK's defence, I think. She's reading more civ to me than Borok is, at least.

And RIP Bullz, I was wrong.

That comment is basically all I can say, people are calling me suspicious based on one vote which I've already explained. If anyone would like to point out another reason they think I'm bad then I'll happily prove them wrong there but until then I can't really say much else in my defense.

I think Indi could be bad. Some of your responses to suspicion against you seem very overdramatic and that makes me wonder. SVS and Snow I think are likely not to be bad just based on their vote histories. Everyone else I don't really have an opinion on.

Dom wrote:Bullz, I just find it quite interesting that you claim civvieness based on WIFOM. And when I find that claim a tad suspicious, you say my case is WIFOM.

My case is that you are using WIFOM to say you are a civvie. That is not a WIFOM case. That is me thinking that baddies civvies wouldn't build up their civvie-ness from day 0 based on a simple wifom argument. They wouldn't need to.
Show me where I'm doing this. I've not said anything along the lines of "I'm obviously a civvie because of this and that" at all and if you want to say that I am I will call you a liar until you prove it. I haven't been 'building up' anything. I haven't tried to claim civvieness based on getting and revealing day 0 info, you may have interpreted my actions that way but it's far from the truth.

Good point.
I find it hard to believe you are bad. Unless you were being very ballzy..ha...when you admitted to getting getting poll info. Dom on the other hand has made me twitch.
What if I told you I got info on the poll, but was told it would benefit me individually, and not the civvs as a whole, and thus, when Bullz decided it was time to say that that option was "his" and started claiming civvie-ness from it...

But I didn't say anything until now because we collectively decided that no one else should come forward and say that they got information...

But you know, Bullz is just 100% civvie because he said he got info... because a baddie would NEVER do that

...Or is that what they want you to think?

Yes, we have all gone under the assumption that bullz is civvie based on WIFOM.

@Dom: I'm offering my thoughts on a semi-consistent basis, certainly not the blendiest person in the game. And I'm not sure where you got the idea that I'm so helpful in other games, because usually I'm not. :p

I'm actually leaning towards looking at the people who followed my SVS vote yesterday, as they may be Timmer teammates bandwagoning to save their friend. And yes, I'm aware of the irony of focusing on the people who voted the same way as me.
In my experience with you, I tend to remember what you think of people when you're civvie and not when you're baddie.

I am gonna read back over the last lynch. I really did want to vote for bullz today, but want to give him a chance to say what he has to say. Indi also pinged me during the last lynch, but her come out swinging aggressive defense could go either way, but the fact that she chose to come out swinging makes me feel less certain about her.

There was someone else who got my attention, but for the life of me I can't remember who and plan to read back later.
He said he was really pinged by two players (don't remember who) and made it sound like he was really convinced about them being bad, but then voted for someone completely different and didn't give a reason for it (though it's very possibly I just didn't see it).

Off the top of my head, I think it was Lizzy he voted for-- I could be wrong, but I definitely remember her name being in the post.

Also, I'm sorry if Dom is female. It's just that I am, myself, a dom, and I am male. :p
I don't think I voted Lizzy.... I can't remember though. :D

And yeah I'm a dude. :noble:

juliets wrote:Dom, what do you see in DF's behavior that you think lends itself to being Trog (or are you saying you think he's mafia)? I just did a re-read and nothing jumped out to me. Doesnt mean your wrong, just means you are probably seeing something I did not. If you suspect him of being Trog is it because he's not around much?

DFaraday - you had a suspicion of A Person when I read back on your thoughts. Do you still have that suspicion? If so, could you reiterate what feels wrong about him and if not could you tell us what turned you around? (This time I checked to make sure A Person was still alive!)
I feel that he is being shady. I don't think he's necessarily Trogdor as much as I think he is not civvie. TBH it's that I feel like when he contributes he contributes nothing.

For what it's worth DF is civ so don't waste too much time on him.

I'll probably still vote Dom for the same reason yet again, unless someone says something ping-y and I read it.

Who was Matahari vocalizing against?

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 8]

sorry for missing the vote:/
S~V~S wrote:A lot of people are in and out of this thread tonight, but no one is saying a thing (except Indi).

I think people may have an expectation about how I may flip, and they may or may not be right, but none of that affects how I see what happened here today.

I voted Timmer becasue i though he seemed opportunistic, and that he might be bad. His teammates hung back, hoping to see more people show up and vote. People were more likely to vote for me being as I have been being mentioned as bad on and off for days. No one is showing up to vote, then Bullz & Indi vote within 5 minutes of each other... and no one else but Timmer showed up to vote. And they did not vote for me becasue they thought I was Trogdor~ they voted for me becasue I voted for Timmer.

The implication made was that I (and the people who voted for timmer after me) were voting for him to save DP, and that it was unnerving that several people found Timmer suspish.

Well, maybe several people found him suspish becasue he was suspish. Like I said, i expect to die tonight. And when you see I had no BTS, really think about what happened today. If Timmer dies, not I, and he flips civ, I will change my sig to whatever Timmer wants for a month on all sites. Which is a another way of me saying i will eat my hat. Not a fan of hat eating, am I.

He did generally send in his PMs AFAIRemember. I could go back and reread his posts in this thread, and see what I think, but whenever I've played with him he's just seemed so low key, he flies under the radar regardless. I remember in our BTSC he even said that to me - his style is just to lay low.
I have found that DF's thoughts are usually more rich in content when he is civvie.

Ugh, this day is annoying because those being discussed aren't saying anything.

BigDamnHero wrote:ok...I'm really not liking these run-in votes. this time it was borokkuei jumping in against Dom. He hasn't even been participating but seems confident enough to vote so quick and so early? What's possibly even worse is that not only does he refer back to a suspicion he first brought up two days ago, it was a suspicion he originally thought was about MP and had to be corrected...here (some kind of error happened and it wouldn't let me quote the post so this is the link):

http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 80#p35180
He didn't even vote Dom on that day (Day 6) because the winds were currently blowing in SVS' direction at the time. Something just doesn't sit right with me there...

Quite frankly all these absent/inattentive players are somewhat frustrating me...I'm not sure who it was who said it, but if they are civillians, they aren't really doing the rest of us any favors by staying so silent. We don't have to be as chatty as movingpictures was (that was a sort of distraction in its own right) but not saying anything or these run-and-gun votes isn't helping either. I think I've got to toss my vote to borokkuei this round.
