Thanks for the game, everyone!

I knew juliets was off but didn't know how to show it... and you know, sometimes I really am just busy and following the game without posting much, because I'm truly have little to add. I never know how to defend against charges that that means that I'm bad, it's happened for years. I really do prefer to follow when I lack the insight to push the game in a direction. But serious question, what am I supposed to say to charges that my lack of output means I'm bad, if I lack the time to force output?

I've moved my vote, which shouldn't come as a surprise. I would love to post more but I'm literally shacked up in a hotel with a lady friend.

I'm not sure if epig2 is bad, or Dom , but both have stuck more severely to their thoughts about me than I feel I'd normal from them so I'm torn, there. Michelle seems to not want to try to see day 1 from s different view but I don't know her so im not sure how to read that. Sprotyo is trolling. If you want an interesting place to look, my gut still rings bad about juliets. I'd support votes in her direction based on my gut read and thur nuance of her stances in this game which I had previously covered.

My concern with sabie is if she is Baron. If she did have a night where she didn't submit a power, her vote total would have been lowered by 2, so anyone voting for her in yesterday's lynch could have been a baddie teammate, knowing that a tie wasn't really a tie. But potentially now she did use a power, etc. because there is suddenly an air of "don't lynch sabie" that was absent yesterday.

I'm definitely leaving my vote on sabie, but I'll say that epig's push towards me feels pretty bad.

We do NOT need to leave an inactive sable aside for today. Because she ISN'T inactive, in fact she is deliberately doing the bare minimum needed to survive in the game without having her powers modblocked.

I would NOT normally kill off longtime syndicate players, Epig should remember that I tend to want to lynch inactives and players I don't know, because I generally trust that I can get the long-timers whose games I know well lynched.

But the key here is that he keeps referring to sabie as inactive, when she very definitely is NOT, and he knows this and is ignoring it.

And at this point, with a sabie lynch looking like it would happen, to see this sudden idea of "no, we have to lynch other than sabie, uhm,... that guy" it tells me that a successful sabie lynch would tell us a LOT about who the bad guys are in this game.

Now, I'm at work today and will try to post, but then I have a ladyfriend staying over for the weekend, so i'll be a bit absent.

Timmer has a post count in the 70s, but the only things I remember from that are a weird idea on Creature / Owner / Drago being w/w/w (which actually is pretty townie now that I think about it cause scum wouldn’t make claims like that if Creature was gonna flip town) and a fight with Rej day 1.

Dom, this is a supportive post I was referring to, "actually pretty townie" is not synonymous with voting for me.

Or you were just really, really sure about Dom's past behaviours in games and made the case, but then only went to find proof of it after?

Can you explain how that makes sense? Or more specifically, can you explain how that isn't basically admitting that you made a case up? I feel like I'm missing a key piece, here, lol

Why did I give up a bit? I thought there existed a meta case and I read some of your previous games and it seemed par for the course. At which point I’m basing my entire meta case on a game currently in process.

One with Ancient Greece, one weird one that I couldn’t really track that seemed to take place in several different threads, a few where you posted once or twice a day and then died.

You chose a game where I died on Night 3, a game that was hard to follow, and a game I didn't quite play to base your entire case against me that you pushed hard while I wasn't here?

Well I read the games after making the case and you didn’t have many recent ones to choose from. The case I pushed while you were here was not in any way based on those games.

If I wanted to I’m sure I could have found some great examples of what I was looking for but it would have been a little disingenuous.

This exchange has my head spinning. Am I correct that the synopsis of this is that tony made a case based on Dom game meta, but then later admitted that he found the games he cited... after making the case?

I'm here briefly... so my default vote today will be sabie as my counter-idea yesterday kind of flopped.

I notice that the last 2 things Tony said about me were pro-townie, yet he is voting for me, so that's weird.

I've been reading and following the game more than it might seem, I just haven't had a ton to say at the few times where I've had time to say them.

Right now, I feel like I have zero real pro-town reads..., a huge group of people in the middle meh group, like Epig2, Dom, LC...

Some people I'm gut-reading as bad but can't build much of a case against like juliets, Drag and Owner, and then there are all of the virtually absent players. As for sabie, one thing that is damning imo is that she is making exactly one post a day, which is the exact requirement to not get modblocked. That makes me a bit more comfortable with a lynch in that direction.

I think the more people tell me what scum never do, the more I think I'm onto something, lol. Fwiw I was on a baddie team years ago that consistently voted together and it worked well exactly for this reason.

@Tony, so if creature gets lynched and is bad, you are telling me that you would rule out owner and drag as potential teammates?

Owner is neutral to slight town on drag, with the twitchy fact that when he does speculate about a potential bad drag, it is in a dual thought, as in maybe Dom AND drag are bad, which would allow him to show he suspected drag but vote for Dom, theoretically.

And the votes being no way a team would do it are exactly why I'm wondering if it's exactly that

I just iso'd owners mentions of creature , he was very wishy washy day 0 and then has been supportive of him ever since. It's pretty clear to me.

Well I kind of feel like the baddie team may have exposed themselves, here. If creature flips bad I think we could blow this game open

High failure probability unless there was a very scummy seeming player on day 1? If someone really stood out it is genuinely possible that a significant handful of civs targeted them. The saving grace for me is that I don't really think anyone fit that description?

I'm still thinking that the owner creature drag group looks worst, those votes on long con just stand OUT... I'm leaving my vote where it is for now.

Hmm, so if sabie was a nutella teamie she was either a recruit or the mysterious hidden role? I wish I knew what that role did, hitting a traditional baddie where the team still has 4 members would be more to my liking but if that hidden role is gross...

I'll vote creature as 2 people have called this his baddie mo. It's enough for now

I'll actually answer this, lol. When I'm bad I tend to be pretty invested in a game, and the last game I played we had a whole set of deliberate "fucking phone god dammit" stuff I was doing, because a teammate was going to impersonate me in a chatroom and it was going to be glorious. But then they died.

I say this because yeah I do sometimes pull shit when I'm bad, but as some kind of fakery my case on juliets would be the lamest idea I ever had.

Actually, my thoughts still hold true, a bit.

In short, reading juliets' posts, shes been taking very light but easily changed-if-need-be stances in the game, except as soon as it seems like a lynch train is clearly going to happen, she firms up. Her thoughts on rej firmed up after things went his way, and her thoughts on Luna changed to firm as soon as day 3 went in that direction but on day 2 juliets was more hedgy because there was no clear safe target.

Also juliets has been away from keyboard in the game a few times, I could easily see a baddie chatroom where the last thing she remembered was them thinking Luna was going to be lynched and then the poll tied up after. If, in fact, the votes swung to nutella late to make the tie, I'd say that's actually pretty likely.

Fuck, I had a whole thing about how it seemed like juliets and Luna were linked but that's because I thought Luna was on the baddie team but now I see she was an indy so it makes no sense.

When there is a slight danger early on of Sig getting noticed and called out for his meta stuff, I believe a bit of easy early support in the thread would indeed happen. Nice and easy, just nip it quick.

Hmm so sloonei did sort of support sig a bit, but a lot of the chat with Sig then came down to deflecting sig's ideas about sloonei so id say this is more null.

I'm comfortable labelling creature as a strong possible teammate of sig's, and from that I can admit that there is at least a bit of a chance that Luna could be, as well. But I'd rather Lynch someone with supportive posts than someone in luna's position, personally

I've placed a vote on creature as well, he was directly supportive of Sig in the thread. I'm reading sloonei next

So looking back at charter about sig, the two people who most supported him on day 1 were creature and sloonei. Creature fairly directly, and sloonei a bit more indirectly. I will concentrate on reading them.
