congratulations guys! And thank you, llama, for letting me step in. It was a fun role, I never realized how many mongoose and wombat songs there were to choose from, I even found a song for moving pictures and Epig, but didn't see a need to use them. It was much fun! A tribute to one of my favorite actresses-

Not asking for any names or anything, but I'm curious to know whether any other calculations about players have changed since yesterday.

ok, I'm wrong, mongoose missed vote on day 3, mp got bothered on night 4. I can see a Mongoose vote.

ok, nevermind, I'm lost again.

There was a day when Mongoose didn't vote, but Boddy prodded MP that night. I think. I'll look again, but I'm aware that there is much going on that I don't know about, so I'm also going to trust the majority rule this time.

hmmm, are we in agreement on the nature of the host's post? I assumed it had to do with something being inconsistent with rules?

I'm excluding myself from the list, obviously because I know my own role. On day four, three players voted - MP, Bass, and Epig, and Boddy targeted that night. I tend to trust Epig. I'm unsure of the other two. Bass pulled a fairly risky bluff by implying he had something to do with one of the switches. MP kind of questioned it, and then came back later and said he thought he understood, (his post wasn't all that clear to me), so I'm wondering if something has happened that totally rules MP out as Boddy, as Boddy could self-target )long shot, I know. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry MR, I'm going to reread what you've posted throughout the game, but what comes to mind immediately, is that you were trying to tell us that the cook had nothing to do with the switched lynch, the one that Bass didn't have anything to do with.

This goes in conjunction with the other thing I mentioned: If he's using up that one-time +2, game-changing kinda vote manipulation, don't you think he'd want to be around to see it play out and vote if need be?

Are we talking about you or MP, or who? You've lost me somewhere. Are we talking about me thinking temporarily that MP was the cook? Are you trying to get me to re-look at my assumptions on who is who?

After his save during the lynch where Blooper had more votes, he did some explaining- during some of his posts he basically pointed out that he was not the chief, so I assumed he was the cook and had put more votes on someone. Later after finding out he was a male role, I reread him (starting with that lynch) and realized he said some other things too, that pointed to him being someone else. I'm making assumptions, I guess, because its very hard to know anything with 100% confidence.

Also really amused that nobody revisited your Wadsworth observation. The "there won't be a kill the night a dead baddie would kill" theory was something I disagreed with vocally and early on. If it's not true, it completely invalidates the way some players have been narrowing down their suspects.

At first, I thought he was the cook, until it was revealed that he was a male role.

I'm voting MR now, so I don't forget tonight. I'm sorry if its a wrong choice, but based on what I'm seeing in the game, its a better choice than my other questionable players.

I made a slaphazard s.s., which leaves me with 3 ? marks, assuming certain players have been truthful. MR is a ?, Bass is an assumption of honesty. I should go ahead and vote, but I'm going to wait a bit longer.

Does anyone think it might be worthwhile to go ahead and lynch wads worth instead of Boddy? That's assuming that everyone is in agreement about who Wadsworth is. Or do you think Boddy will get to pick up the nightly kills, if Wadsworth is gone?

That's a good point. If the votes were close on one of those days, it might have just appeared to be a switch. Is it the cook who can add or subtract points? I don't know, I'll go back and look at those days and compare.

Since bad things can happen at night, I'm going to put my current thoughts in the thread.

MP- keeps bringing up Epig as a Boddy suspect, but then gets very easily dissuaded. Sounds like he doesn't really mean what he is saying, like its just for effect. Also hinted at being a certain role, no one has challenged it.

Epig- sounds like he really means it when he says he wants to win as a civ, but a key part of winning as a civ is making sure the civ team outnumbers the baddies. Yet, when it's time to vote, he's quite careless and slaphappy about it. It feels a little contrived, but I don't know when he's being honest and when he isn't.

MR- too quiet for comfort, (possibly sick?) I have nothing against him but I don't see anything that makes him appear civvie either.

Mongoose- cryptic and I never can get a read on her

Vomps- whimsical as always, no way will he give anything away. Circumstantial- missed a vote on a night when a kill was expected

Bass- respect for not giving away his role before the votes were in, and then only when pushed. Could have been a bluff, but no one challenged it.

I think that's everyone.

I feel kind of icky about this. What point could Bass be hoping to make? To show that he will die and is not Boddy? Or that he will live because he is Boddy, and then get lynched tomorrow? I don't get it.

I thought Epig had sound reasons for MR being Boddy, but he didn't seem to believe them as much as I thought he did. Ok, so it doesn't matter now anyway, I'll vote Bass too. I just wish I felt better about it.

well, I still don't know what is best to do. I might have to eeney meeny miney mo it.

I am a civ, my only real value to the game, so I would hate to see the chief switch things to me. If a civ has to go, I'm as go-able as anyone, I guess. I feel about as dumb as a box of rocks about who's bad. The only things I can say for myself are 2 separate events in the game, taken separately could be seen as a baddie bluff, but since both things have happened, I think it speaks better of my role. The first thing was Kpence voting himself, I generally think new players with no help tend to do that. The second thing was Hedge voting me. I've seen baddies vote their teammates to throw people off the trail, but it seldom works, especially when people are already throwing the name around as being in the suspicion column (Kpence/mata, kevin/vomp, and inactive Canuck.

So- either of those things could be baddie bluffs, if it was only one thing that happened, but seeing as how there were two things, it seems less likely that I would be part of the mafia. At least, thats how I would weigh it if I was viewing other people in the same circumstance.

That still doesn't help me trying to decide who Mr. Boddy is

I'm still waiting to hear why Mongoose is leaning more towards Bass, Epig made some solid points about MR, but I don't know what the solid points are yet about Bass. unless I missed something glaringly obvious which I'm prone to do when subbing in to a game

Random thoughts (that are getting me nowhere): Epig made a case for MR being Mr. Boddy, Mongoose favors Bass slightly more than MR (why?)

No evidence of vote forcing on night 2 and 3, (or maybe it was 1 and 3?), studied votes on the days in question and I only saw one that looked like it may have been forced, that was Mongoose's vote for Vompatti. There was no reason given for her vote for him, but I doubt she can discuss it if it was forced, so dead end.

Epig was in favor of going for Mr. Boddy instead of the last mafia dude, and his case on MR sounded like he legitimately believed it. Is he capable of setting up something in advance to get someone else looking guilty, or was he on the level?

also, I'm wondering if Mr. Boddy will be able to kill each night after the mafia is gone, or, if the last mafia dude gets a nightly kill if Mr. Boddy is gone?

My brain is nowhere at the moment, just full of questions with no answers. But I thought it would be polite to at least post something to show I'm trying

ok, I reread Hedge. She was present early on, at least not noticeably inactive. She did that post where she 'sort of' defended Sabie & 'kind of' pointed in MR's direction. I could see a vote for Hedge, but I'll wait until I hear what everyone says today.

Hi all. I've read half of the game, will get to the second half later today. So glad to be playing this!

* I've been on a team with MP at least twice, but he never seemed to have a lot of time to "bug anything" out of any of his teammates. Maybe he was exaggerating, or maybe he does in some games with other players?
