Re: General tabletop games discussion

Small World is a fantastic game. Never tire of that one.

I also echo Daisy's comments about Alchemists and Above and Below. I'm especially addicted to the former even though I'm not great at it.

I've heard really good things about that game; I'm very intrigued what you'll think of it. It's a game Annie and I considered getting too.

How good one is at Dixit is entirely proportional to their brain commonality with the other players.

You can be terrible with one group and great with another.
That's a good point!

Giving it a try next weekend.
Nice! Be sure to let us know how it goes. Annie and I love hanging out at a similar place (Magic Beans) in San Antonio.

I've gone a bit overboard with the tabletop game buying recently :p but it's so much fun.
It's difficult not to go overboard myself. :p We haven't been that bad lately, actually, but I'm sure a phase will come again at some point.
It happened when I discovered Kickstarter...
Shhhhhhh, it doesn't exist! :p

Re: General tabletop games discussion

So I haven't had much time for tabletop games lately... but! I bought Power Grid yesterday to treat myself for my birthday, and it's as amazingly awesome as I had built it up to be. So glad I have this game now.

Now I need expansions... :slick:
