No, I'm not retiring, but I know my own limits and I've been beyond them for too long now. I want to make sure that as much as humanly possible everything on this site, including all that behind the scenes fun stuff, is being addressed in a thorough and timely manner, and I've realized over time that the only way that is going to happen when I'm incredibly busy RL is to have someone else on the admin team. And unfortunately there's just so much in the next couple of years that there's no end in sight yet for me with respect to a busy schedule.

Or really it's just to give you all someone else to blame and complain to, but I wanted to give the diplomatic answer first.

It is with pleasure that I announce the promotion of JaggedJimmyJay to The Syndicate's administration team. He will be assisting me in running the site, particularly behind the scenes, as my RL schedule becomes increasingly busy. He joins S~V~S and Turnip Head in day-to-day site oversight; if you ever have questions or concerns, look no further than contacting them, especially in my absence. I'm certainly excited about this promotion, as JJJ has consistently demonstrated a passion for the game of mafia and this site, and has experience as a main participant in and de-facto leader of the RYM Mafia community. I'm convinced he will be a fantastic addition to the team.
