Hey guys! [mention]Thingyman[/mention] wanted me to let you all know that MU is currently holding their first ever Turbo Championship.

Basically, this is a separate event from the regular Championship -- a 1-month event where everyone is invited to play in turbos (really short games like our burglaries here). By playing in turbos from now and until March 19th participants will automatically rack up leaderboard points and thus be in contention to win the title of Mafia Turbo Champion 2018. But as always, it's mostly for fun - and it's a great chance for people to dive into some cross-community fun without it being too much of a commitment, as these games last a maximum of 90 minutes.

There is both an Individual and Community Leaderboard. I.e. if people from your community do well, then they can also win the Best Community Award!

I really need to take a mafia break after my time in the crossover is complete, but I highly recommend people go play over on HCR. I'd love to do it myself. I'm sure it'll be an absolute blast.

Man, I really want to play this Clash game because it sounds so cool and I've been wanting to play again at NF, but I'm seriously concerned about flaking.

Hello, Psi! Awesome, this looks like a good time. People should definitely play! I'm interested myself, but it depends on when the start time is.

I haven't played there, but they did participate in the Mafia Championship held by Thingyman last year, and they seem to be one of the "Big X" mafia communities, so they have quite the userbase.

This is one of NF's traditions: Favorites V. It's a game where each player submits a character they like (can be literally ANY character), and the hosts will make a role in the game for every single character submitted.

The game will probably start on early August. It will have a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 60 players. Phases are 24/24 and the game will be closed setup with role reveals allowed.

One cool thing about this game is that there is no way of knowing whether a character is good or bad based on their original work of fiction. For example, in the last Favorites, we had Korra as a mafia godfather and God as a serial killer.

And oh man, this sounds so awesome. Too bad it'll be early August and not late August! I'll be busy getting married. Bummer.

I envy those who will be playing, that's for sure. Soneji is an amazing host, and I can only imagine DDL is as well. I really think anyone even slightly intrigued from TS should consider playing this.

You (yes, you) should consider playing Mafia #86 on RYM. Their participation over here (acrosstheaether, JaggedJimmyJay, sanmateo, Sloonei) in the ongoing Economics game has been incredibly appreciated, and any way we can continue this site partnership with them would be a boon for both communities. Not to mention a lot of fun!

It's David Bowie themed (you heard me), has a Day 0, and will be open setup. So far, yours truly and your friendly neighborhood marmot (Metalmarsh89) are signed up. It'll be a good time!

Let's see if we can round up 3 more players so that this game can be run. KSite has always been incredibly welcoming to all of us, and we've managed to have some cross-over of the communities, but I really would like to see more. We've seen more than a few KSiters bridge over to our community, most notably FZ. and to a lesser extent, K4J. They are really, really nice and amazing mafia players, and they would love to play with more of us!
