Time to resurrect this thing. Post smileys here that aren't currently in the database and I'll make sure I work with the tech team to get them added within the next week, assuming we get enough requests!

Yes, thank you for this, TH. My problem is that I'm usually multitasking when I'm on the site, and when people suggest smileys in games, I think of it, but then it slips my mind, and I haven't found a good method of consolidating the smiley requests.

Spacedaisy started up a thread just like this a while back. But when I think about it, I should have moved that thread to the Lounge. Perhaps I can consolidate the two threads.

This will make it much easier for me to go in and add a bunch of emoticons at once.

So I added just a few smileys, including the ever-needed , the noble (of course) , this one because why not as it fits some circumstances perfectly , and then thellama gets his own smiley now as well . There were a few others I tried but they looked terrible on the black background. Keep those suggestions coming! And if I haven't gotten to yours yet and you think there is no reason for me not to (it could be I overlooked it, I'll admit that), feel free to pester me!

Just to clarify, I am actually the only one who can add or delete emoticons because it requires access to my Bluehost cPanel. Even if that wasn't the case, I would and do take full responsibility for that function, so I will handle all of the emoticon duties. LT is surely plenty busy with her own site and I very much appreciate everything she has done above and beyond in helping to start up and maintain this site.

This is a fantastic thread idea because I know I've gotten requests during games for particular smileys or particular categories of smileys, and I try to get around to adding them or searching for more, but IRL occupations plus other non-emoticon related website administration activities never allow for enough extra time and they get unintentionally delayed. So please, if any of you have an emoticon you really want, post it here. I promise I'll try to evaluate each and every one of them and add the ones selected on a timely basis as much as possible. Again, just because you post 1 or 100 emoticons here doesn't mean I will necessarily add them, but I will do my best to placate and add awesome emoticons to the bunch we already have.

Additionally, Daisy has already picked up banner and signature making pretty well (see her and my new signatures as well as the speed game banners thus far as evidence) and I know she's been enjoying it, so feel free to give her more to do!
