I knew this was a classy place.

Here's how classy I am.

I got a pretty crystal wine glass down from the wine rack. I Opened my favorite bottle of chianti. I poured that beautiful black/red nectar of the gods up to almost the rim of that beautiful crystal glass. Then I noticed a blood red drip trickling down the neck of the bottle when I was setting it back down.

Yep, I licked that fucker.

It's amazing how much stuff you can accumulate in a relatively short amount of time, isn't it? I swear, half of the stuff just multiplies on its own, you don't even have to add anymore yourself!

Also, I was just doing some math. Visiting my local Dollar Trees, in the past couple of months I have purchased approximately $220 worth of books for $11. Almost all non-fiction, hardcover, best-sellers. An Elie Wiesel book, Karen Greenberg's The Least Worst Place, Those Angry Days by Lynne Olson, Gold Rush in the Jungle, I mean really quality books. Part of me feels bad about paying so little for these gorgeous books, but the rest of me feels really good because at least they will be read, enjoyed and respected instead of lingering in the Dollar Tree, and then enduring who knows what. Seriously, if anyone else here enjoys reading, you can find treasure troves there. You just have to rummage a little, and know what days the trucks come in.

If ears could cross like eyes when you read too much... my ears would currently be crossed from working on mixing songs for this new album. I swear, this is why successful musicians have other people do this tedious crap.


Also, all of a sudden for some reason on my Walking Dead: No Man's Land game, my Daryl is having trouble killing walkers. WTF Daryl?!?! Not. Cool.


Other than that, life is good. And my new hiking pants are A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

Oh cool! I didn't know they were going to do a Part II. That should be hilarious! I remember having a bit-o-fun in that game.

I PMed Illy about it the day... it looks like Grimmy is probably going to let it die. Not that anybody went there anymore, to be honest. But it's still just a bit heart breaking to me.

I've been using it for a while. (You just download and then install it, and honestly it didn't take all that long.) It's fine, I like it, and got used to it really quickly.

The only issue I faced (which I wasn't aware of ahead of time ) is that my Bluetooth peripherals didn't work with it. I had to buy a new Bluetooth dongle that was Windows 10 compatible. (Yep, old ass laptop without built in Bluetooth. ) Anyway, once I had the new Bluetooth dongle, everything worked perfectly. If you have built in Bluetooth, it should still work fine (that's what happened for Dex, no Bluetooth issues at all - and yep, I've finally created a PC out that old Mac man!! ).

Other than that, it's fine. Oh, another thing - you may have trouble finding your old Microsoft Word software (if you use it) but it will still be in there. Or you can download one of the many free word processing programs out there. All the software still works on it fine, no issues, just might be a bit buried to dig out.

It hasn't been terrible for me, but I really don't do any intense computer stuff - graphic art, loads of streaming, PDF generating, etc. No crazy gaming, etc, and I'm imagining Jules is in the same boat.

Oh, vertigo sucks! Sorry to hear that MoPi. In my experience, there's not a ton that can be done... some of the meds they give you knock you out too - so you can either lay there spinning, or lay there high.

One thing - if it does happen repeatedly, there is something that can cause it that is a pretty quick fix. It can sometimes be related to the tiny crystals waaay inside your inner ear that float in fluid and help give you your sense of balance, and up/down. Sometimes those tiny crystals can come out of their little area. If that happens, you can get vertigo. But if you go to your doctor (or physical therapist) they can lay you on a table and put your head through a short series of movements - they are in a special sequence, and work like one of those little hand held maze games I liked when I was younger. They lead the displaced crystals through your ear canal maze and get them back where they're supposed to be. Then you lay there for a bit to let them settle down & you're good to go.

Not all vertigo is caused by the ear crystal thingy, but some is. If it happens again you might call the dr just to see. I know vertigo is nooo fun. Hope you're feeling better and stay that way.

The last I heard from Illy she had been in a significant car accident (but came out ok, all things considered) and her master's thesis was kicking her butt. That's been a few weeks though, so not sure how / where she is atm. We kept in touch fairly regularly on TWD thread on HV. So, it's been however long ago since the mid-season finale. Does she pop in here? I'm thinking she never migrated over. I think she liked our little HV mafia family. I should really like to pm her too. I feel like I must miss out on so much not having the Facebook.

Let's see, what else... I'm doing pretty well. Dex is doing pretty well too. It's been a crazy year or 2 here, with all kinds of stuff happening, but hey, that's life right? And we are good. It really is hard to summarize, but over all we are doing well, happy, all that jazz. I've also gotten back into my music more, which is fantastic! But there's never enough time to spend with it. I got a new piano recently and I swear I haven't even had time to sit down and really enjoy it. If I don't actually schedule it in, it really doesn't happen. Sadly.

We had so many ideas for MST3K... wanted to turn the game on its head just a bit. And now, we are both feeling a bit more excited for it... but you guys know it's a huge project. Oh, but it could be sooooo fun.

How about all the rest of you folks? Hopefully life is going smoothly enough, or if it's bumpy at least you're holding on tight. It's nice to see at least a few names I recognize. It's so funny to see so many new names here that are totally unknown to me, but very nice! Hugs all around!
