I won't be back before voting time, unfortunately, so I'll go ahead and put mine on Kate. The Nev lynch started all our troubles, and I've been getting the feeling she knows a lot more than she's telling, which makes me very nervous. I wish I could hear and contribute to more discussion today . I'll be back in full force tomorrow

And is it weird or unnerving to anyone else that all role listings everywhere seem to be gone?

I can only imagine two explanations for this. I could be recruited and not know it, but wouldn't it be 4-3 baddies and game over??? Or there might bot even be baddies and this is all a lead-up to the black roles, but if so then why did Snow Dog die at night?

SVS, I don't see what Roxy and Mata have to do with it at this point. I know llama has played this very well, and if you vote me I'll understand how tough the choice was, but for me and all the civs I'm asking you to see through his deceptions. He's accused nearly everyone of being bad in the past day, which to me screams last-ditch baddie save attempt. I have stuck to my guns this entire time

honestly, the only thing making me really mistrust Russti in with that unholy trio is that he has not tried to defend himself well, and was quite happy to vote the way we suggested. At this point, I'm fairly sure that Kate got recruited, and she is sort of covering for Llama. Unless....one of those weird sub-theories in my head is correct.

Mata, I urge you to trust your instincts on this one. I'm sorry you think I didn't defend myself well today. As soon as I saw the BWT results I admitted my mistake openly, and said that llama and Vomps were where we needed to look because they were happy to bandwagon yesterday. I felt like anything else was , having defended myself for 2 days now. It's true, I was happy to vote llama, because I am now absolutely, 100% sure he is bad. I wrote at the time that I waited to hear from some other civs before casting my vote because I am equally sure the Vomps is bad, and I wasn't sure which of them was more important to eliminate. Roxy was for voting llama and I trust her so I went for it.

I strongly believe that both you and S~V~S need to vote llama or the game will end, because I think Ben has been recruited and will caused me to be lynched with any other outcome.

Actually, it's not a matter of belief. It says under BOB's power that recruits have BTSC. I also think someone must have been blocked, as I stated before.

Wow, I just realized we have a long time left on this poll! It seems like I'll have to vote llama regardless, although Vomps seems very bad as well. I'll wait a bit to hear from Kate, MP, and others, but I for one think we need some direction now instead of waiting until the last minute again, so I won't be waiting too long.

Dang! I have no idea how BWT could have been civ. We are really in trouble now. I think as Mata said, the fact that BWT died and not llama indicates that Ben has definitely been recruited.

I was SHOCKED last night when I came to vote 4 minutes before the poll close and was only the second one there! Whose idea was that? I think whoever it was is a very strong candidate for baddie. Confusion and a bunch of civs all on different pages seems like heaven for them. If we survive the night I think we definitely need a cohesive strategy from the beginning of the day tomorrow or it's over.

As far as who needs to go tomorrow, I almost feel bad trying to contribute. I was clearly very wrong about BWT, and thus probably about Kate and S~V~S (as long as neither of them are recruited tonight). Despite my earlier civ read on llama, this lynch just looks terrible for him. I don't feel terrific about Mata either, but she and llama have seemed on entirely different wavelengths all game, so if they're both bad they're playing it incredibly cleverly. Roxy, MP, and Vomps have all seemed quieter than they usually are to me, so they're big question marks in my book.

We should get some more clarity about what's going on after tonight's NK(s). I think we need to get a plan as quickly as possible come morning. I'm really glad llama is covered, at least. Hopefully Deputy Brennan has some idea of who needs to be blocked.

If my theory is right, then what happened last night lines up perfectly. One uncovered recruit (BWT) killed, one was covered (S~V~S), and Kate is more or less clear of suspicion.

I'd be more inclined to believe that Kate and SVS are good and BWT is Bob (as I think he's been away too much to be a particularly useful recruit). I don't remember the defenses Russ is referring to and I'm not going to look them up (maybe someone else will?), but there's probably a logical explanation for them that doesn't make Kate and SVS bad.

I just wanted to mention this post because Vomps has a very good point. I feel pretty darn sure about my read on BWT, but the links to Kate and S~V~S aren't as strong. I hope that was clear from my post originally; it's why I didn't bother posting any quotes from them. Vomps, if you want quote where they vouch for each other and BWT I can pull them later.

This is ridiculous. 6 uncovered and llama, who seems very civ to me, may be lynched. I do think after this lynch we'll have a lot more clarity regarding who is bad, assuming it's not too late.

I have no idea what to make of the recent theories on the mechanics of the game. With all those extra roles around it seems like something has to happen though.

Vomps, I'm glad to hear I'm not entirely crazy for suspecting him. I could get on board with us both voting BWT today.

Llama makes a good point though; we also have a recruit who didn't kill last night and, most importantly, BOB, who is set to recruit again tonight. Frankly, if Kate and S~V~S are both innocent I'm at a bit of a loss. We know Mata isn't BOB, and if she was recruited it was a bad choice since she almost died the next day. I'm kind of hampered in reading her because I haven't fully understood any of her posts or hints the past few days but think she's good because of the circumstances. MP could go either way, I suppose, but we have less material from him than usual to read. Llama has seemed civvie to me thus far.

I'm a little surprised no one shares my thoughts on BWT, but that being what it is I'm happy to talk about myself as well. Defending oneself in mafia seems to present pretty few possibilities, but if anyone has any concerns, thread-based or otherwise, that they'd like me to address I'll be more than happy to do so, especially if it helps us avoid a fourth civ lynch in a row.

I have no answer to S~V~S's vague, "he's not around enough". Vomps has objectively been around less than me, and in my opinion contributed less of value, but if she'd rather vote for me that's her perogative. I stand by what I said before: I live in Europe, wake up for work every weekday at 5am, and because of that am usually in bed by 10 or 11pm. Thus I miss most of your evenings, which is when most of the posting is done. I'm sorry if I miss big discussions, but that will be the case until June when I move back to the States, and I do always take care to comment on what's been said afterward.

RIP, Snow Dog. I can't see any reason the baddies would kill a teammate, so I'm assuming you were good.

Combine the thread info with the fact that BWT won Minecraft as a baddie largely by not being present, and I think we're seeing a bad BWT. Kate and S~V~S's defenses of him worry me a lot. Kate and S~V~S are best friends irl and Kate won Minecraft with BWT, so they both seem like logical recruits for her. Kate, I think the way you lay it out it doesn't make any sense for recruits to be able to contact BOB or vice versa using smilies. In fact, when you lay it out this way it even seems possible they may not know who he is.

Also, the possibility of 2 NKs tonight is terrifying.

I'm confused by the assumption that each recruit gets their own NK. I was reading that power as they get a communal NK instead, what makes you guys think they could have 2?

Hmmm. Well at least I understand all the hints Mata dropped now (I think).

So we're on Night 3 now, right? When does tonight end? And is anyone sure about when BOB recruits? Kate, it did also seem to me like it happens at the end of even day periods (so, for example, not today but tomorrow). Whether we should be counting on 3 or 4 baddies could affect my view of the best voting strategy.

Another thing: does each minion get a kill, or do they all share one? It seems like they'd be insanely overpowered if they could all kill.

One thing I realized is we could use the opposite strategy we've been using. Instead of spreading to nearly everyone, we could decide together on 2 or maybe 3 of the most suspicious players and lynch one of them while voting for the other(s). Ideally, I think, we'd try to lynch the person who seems most BOB-like and get votes on his possible recruits. That way we take down the most likely baddie and hopefully avoid any lynch manipulations, and if there's no NK (or fewer NKs than there should be, depending on the answer to my question about how minions kill) we'll know recruits are among the vote-getters.

Of course, that's a risky strategy because if we miss even one recruit there'll be an NK. I just thought I would bring it up, as it seems we may need a more aggressive strategy in order to find BOB quickly.

So I guess I'm a bit torn between llama's and Roxy's offensive and defensive strategies. I think we need to pretty much decide on one unanimously by tomorrow though or the lynch will be a disaster. I hope others will weigh in on this.

Does anyone else feel really stupid right now? I have absolutely no clue what she's getting at. Is the timing particularly important somehow?

Actually, missing a vote could be a baddie tactic. The less votes are out there the less the civs are protected, and missing means avoiding explaining your vote

Ugh, I don't have a good feeling about this either. I really hope llama's instincts on Matahari are right. And a but nervous about 4 uncovereds. Why didn't BWT and Matahari ever check in?

Where's everyone else, by the way? We still have 6 votes to get in, right?

I said (or at least implied) earlier that everyone seems to trust the llama but me, which is why I think it would be beneficial for Bob to recruit him, which is the reason I voted for him (along with wanting to make sure I vote for someone we were going to have covered anyway so that we wouldn't end up covering too many).

I feel the same as Snow Dog on SVS, llama. I more or less believe Kate has good intentions, but after yesterday I have trouble trusting her reads of others. SVS's denial of her vote just seems too bizarre for me. Even though you say it would be poor strategy, baddies don't always play perfect strategy

Even though no one asked, at this point I'm leaning pretty strongly civ on both Snowie and llama. I'm not sure about Kate, SVS, and Matahari. Of those 3 I feel best about Matahari. Between SVS's vote on Day 2 and misremembering now and Kate's lead of a civ lynch yesterday I think they should be covered at the very least. I also don't like that BWT was in long enough to say he'd read and has now disappeared again. If I had to vote now mine would go to either SVS or him.

EBWOP: I have no idea if llama checked things in the order he says, but the sequence of posts and poll changes is correct.

I may look more closely at BWT now that Lucy has mentioned him as well. Unless Roxy is Lucy, that makes 2 other people eyeing him.

I'm still torn on Kate, and think Vomps supporting her against Snowie and llama is interesting. Just based on numbers I'd say someone there has to be bad, but I'd be hard-pressed to say who. I've been reading Snowie as civ. Kate's show info has been pretty informative and other than the Nevinera lynch (which, admittedly, went very poorly) she's seemed more or less well-meaning,

It's really hard for me not to vote for the One-Armed Man, but from an investigative standpoint I think talking to Laura's mom makes more sense right now.

Having played all of INHs games I think false/skewed info is totally possible. Also Nevin apparently checked themfor James, which means they have a 50% chance of not being BOB, that's the only info he couldhave had.

Nev's surety of Snowie and llama makes me think that he believed he'd have known if he found BOB and survived. While I don't know if that's the case I hope so, since it means the other searcher (Donna, right?) could find him too.

Oh, gosh. I don't know what to think of Kate anymore. I agree that she seems way too savvy to get caught leading a civ lynch if she were baddie. On the other hand I suppose she could have planned on us thinking that....the entire thing strikes me as extremely WIFOM-y and thus I'm nervous about taking either side of it. Does anyone have the final results from the poll?

Roxy, I reread BWT since you were asking about him. The post where he voted did also strike me as strange, but I could see him having meant that he only wanted 1 vote on BF just in case. His other contributions so far seem helpful. He does say that he's catching up pretty often, but if I remember correctly he does that both as a baddie and a civ. I'm willing to give him BOTD for now, but I'm all for keeping an eye on him.

Leaning SVS for my vote right now. I'm not sure yet whether I should believe her about her vote, and it can't hurt to have one vote on her in case it blocks a kill.

Oh, and Roxy, I wasn't saying we should stop spreading votes entirely after tonight. I simply meant that later on, if BOB has a minion pool of 4 or 5, trying to leave only 2 uncovered could make it very easy for them to orchestrate a civ lynch. Maybe they wouldn't dare because they'd still be exposing themselves, but I think it bears keeping in mind that going too far to either extreme (complete spread vs unanimous lynch) has inherent danger.

And Rox, your idea of only leaving 2 uncovered to narrow a suspect list in the event of an NK seems ok for today. However, as BOB's voting bloc gets bigger it could be dangerous to spread the votes quite that much, I think
