Thanks for a great game everybody, and thanks for hosting INH! The White Lodge portion was easily the most fun I have had so far playing online mafia. The Black Lodge was a little more frustrating. Since we had no confidence in anything the host said by that point, it was sort of like playing a game to which we didn't know the rules, not even our own objectives. I like having some aspects of secrecy, but I think you have to give the players just a little bit of something solid to go off of.

I think you've played a great game and I hate to see you go. I only voted for you to try to show my good intentions to Nev. I fully expected for him to vote for me.

I didn't vote for you, Eric, and I was never planning to betray you. I know ou won't believe me, so here's the proof.

My "vote" may or may not have been accurately represented by our devious host, and I can only assume the same about everyone else's.

So what's the plan here, folks? I don't want to kill either of you. I think we all deserve to win, but I don't know how to make that happen. We could all abstain, we could tie up the vote, or two of us could gang up on the third.

That is my belief as well.

I agree with Snow that none of us is mafia, or all of us are, and that killing one person will not stop the night kills. I based my vote on that reasoning. Since I know that I will not have an NK tonight, I went after the person I thought most likely to try and kill me.

Well, I don't think I want to wait around, as I don't see us coming to any consensus. I am voting for Nevinera.

Recent events lead me to agree with Snow Dog that there is no "mafia" and that this is truly every man for himself. Snow Dog has been honest about that, as has Mata. Nev was the first one into the Black Lodge, being the first one out of the White Lodge, and proposed the alliance. I also think he is most likely to kill tonight and he said he would kill me, so I am gambling on lynching him first. No doubt he will return fire at me, leaving the decision up to Snow and Mata. I am happy with that.

How about everyone votes for themselves and we let fate decide?

Here's my worry though: If we lynch Matahari, then it will be night and one of us will (I think) be killed. I expect it will be me, since Nev has outright said he would choose me if he could and you probably think going up against me in the final two would be harder than going up against nev (you also said you wanted him to win.) So from my perspective, lynching Mata seems like suicide.

I'll be honest, I would like to see Matahari go too. I still feel solidarity for the group and would like for it to be just us three at the end. Do you have any explanation for how night kills were happening before she arrived though?

If this is indeed last man standing, which I still think it is, I think anyone who had the chance to kill would have viewed Roxy as a logical choice. She was the newest arrival and least likely to be mafia, so anyone going up against her in the endgame would be sure to lose. I am not really sure I buy your claim that you would have killed me

I do think Snow Dog has been acting a little weird, though. His insistence that there were no baddies despite the evidence of night kills struck me as very odd.

Mata, do you have a read on anyone?

If Mata was mafia, we'd be at 2v2, and have no hope, so I'm going to assume she's not.

I'm leaning strongly toward Llama, but I admit that I don't know Snow very well.
I'm sure whichever of you is not a killer must think I'm a pretty solid suspect,
since I put this coalition together in the first place. And I admit that this would have been my strategy

I am not mafia, Nev, honest, so it has to be either you or Snow Dog. Although I was pinged by Mata's defection in the last vote, I agree that it is unlikely that she is mafia. I want to hear from Snow Dog before I decide for whom to vote.

For what it's worth, I honestly haven't made up my mind which of the two of you I think is the killer. Right now I have conflicting information and it shows no sign of clearing up any time soon. I trust Mata for the moment though.

One thing I did notice is that one person's name always appears directly after the words "psycho killer" but I have given up on trusting anything thta comes out of INH's mouth

If I had the opportunity to night kill, of course I would take it. Why wouldn't I? I am still operating under the assumption that this is last man standing, so any competition I could eliminate, I would.

I'm going to call you out on this, you tricky host. Kate and I both were forced to post lyrics from the Talking Heads song "Psycho Killer." I, however, have not been responsible for any night kills (unless it is happening without my knowledge.) The host is trying to get innocent people killed with this bogus hint (or at least one innocent person. I can't speak for Kate, but I'm inclined to trust her more now that I know I've been framed.) Don't fall for INH's tricks!

Night ends at 9:30ish Eastern. My instinct is that Mata is not capable of NKs.

If we end up with four people, and matahari turned out the be the second mafia in that set, they'd win (if they're a team. otherwise one of them would win and not the other).

I think we need to engineer it so that we go into some day period with 5 people alive, and then begin figuring out who is mafia. Not that I know Mata is or anything, but the danger seems significant.

I think we should break up on a day period. There are seven of us now, six on the next day and five on the next night, assuming the night kills continue. Since the non-night killers have little to do at night, it makes no practical difference whether we disband on night four or day five, when there will be four people left.

If a second night killer was introduced, I feel sure it would have been SVS, but it is possible her power would pass on to someone else after her death. It is a pickle alright. I'm not sure how we can go into a day period with five unless the night killer declines to kill.

Agreed. Whatever the term we want to use, I think we all agree that it is dangerous to have unknown people killing at night. I am more than happy to let someone else pick the kill next time.

If we are all civvies, explain who is doing the night kills.
