Re: MINECRAFT - NIGHT TWO

In my defence of Epi not being a hypocrite, I never once talked about him being civvie. I wasn't trying to say he wasn't a baddie. I was only trying to say that whoever was calling him a hypocrite (can't even remember who it was at the moment and cannot be bothered to look) had a silly argument.

I just don't believe you. Ever since the lynch switch it was clear that Epi was going down. His teammate(s) would have had little choice but to vote for him or draw suspicion onto themselves, so your vote tells me nothing about your allegiance. YOu've been behaving very much like someone in Rob's camp.
Exactly what i said in my defence. If I had been on his team i would have had to vote FOR him. Especially considering by the time we voted there was absolutely no question he would have most votes.
I know I am behaving differently than you are used to, but I explained that. I wanted to dive in head first and be a more active player this game. I guess all that did was make people suspicious of me. I am still too green, however, to know how to turn that around and make everyone realize that I am civvie. Do I just shut up and become a low poster? Will that make everyone feel better about me? Of course not. I am afraid that once you ping, you cannot go back. And really, I am in worse position than I recently thought. I not only have the civvies wanting to lynch me (b/c MP is civvie and players believe his arguments) but I most likely have the baddies trying to lynch me as well b/c they KNOW I am civvie and want to keep their own from being lynched. the mafia must be having a hay day with everyone believing MP's arguments against me. :disappoint:

What I hate so much was that I wasn't here to vote Epi earlier. If I would have been home to read MP's accusations earlier, I would have voted Epi right away to prove my allegiance to the civvies. But, I was dealing with RL stuff all day :/ When I finally got to Mafia, there were about 7 pages to catch up on and no real way for me to defend my civvie role.
Ambray wrote:I'm curious Ruff, you say in one of your posts "As for the current discussion on llama, I think if Epi was not framed then they're likely teammates. If he was framed, however, I don't think it gives us any info on llama."

So do you still think Llama is Epig's teammate?

MP - The fact that Ruff here seems to be very pro killing Eloch instead of Epig in his posts is giving me pause for thought.
What do you think about Ruff?
This is because Ruff must be bad. B/c I am civvie. :srsnod:
Ambray wrote:Oh and fwiw, I agree with MP that the civvie ninja taking out Eloh tonight would be a good thing.

I don't understand the reasoning others are using against it. That we need to lynch her to see where to go next? To have confirmation she is baddie?

If that's how you feel, arn't you basically telling the ninja to never use their power because we need to have confirmation on who is baddie and who isn't?
Sorry, that baffles me.

And tbh, I don't see how lynching Eloh will give us direction for the next lynch. What will it confirm/deny for you? Nothing for me, tbh. I think we have enough leads from the thread and with Epig alone.
Ambray, you want me killed by the civvie ninja? I declare you a baddie! :srsnod: You don't want me lynched b/c you know if I am lynched everyone will find out I am a civvie. You sneaky sneaky girl.

Lynching me will not confirm anything for Ambray b/c she already knows I am a civvie.
MovingPictures07 wrote: I also asked you for your thoughts on current happenings, but of course, you've been saying near nothing on that front, other than Epig is bad. Yes, we all know that. Who do you think is bad?
I'm definitely believe that Ambray is bad. I think s~v~s is civvie. Other than than, I am not sure enough of anyone to state my opinion.
MovingPictures07 wrote:Okay, here's what's really interesting about Russ. Thank you, multiple people, for pointing in his direction, because now I don't feel NKing Elohcin is such a good idea. It seemed pretty clear to me her behavior is classic baddie, and it still could be, but maybe she's just dug herself a newbie hole here.

.....

In summary, if Elohcin actually is a civvie here, Russ's push to get Elohcin lynched over Epig makes TOTAL SENSE. Then Elohcin would have flipped civvie, Epig would have been possibly cleared, and they could have tried to lynch Snow Dog or llama from there on out.

That being said, Elohcin's behavior still seems really odd to me, but it's very possible we've been hoodwinked, and llama is not the true main scapegoat (that would be more true if S~V~S were bad), but Elohcin is.

She did vote for ship, and then she did eye Snow Dog, and then stick up for Epig, but then vote a low poster. It does seem really bad, but it's possible she just is on her own as well, I suppose.

Snow Dog's more recent posts convince me he's not where we should be looking. I still feel llama is probably not baddie either, but I don't know. I think we definitely need to look hard at Russ and Elohcin, currently. What's interesting is that if Russ is indeed bad, I do wonder about FH, because that seems like a logical connection to me. Anyone have any reads on her?

I did say you were exercising tunnel vision because you were refusing to see anything about Epig for quite a long time there and frothed over llama. Yes, I know it's only Day 2, but I didn't mean it as a necessarily baddie term and certainly not as an insulting one.

But, this is my second game, I have now watched many of you play the game with accusations and speculations right at the very beginning. So, I thought I would give it a try. I thought it would be fun to dive right in and be a more active player. All that did was get you to think I am a baddie. Also, I am not Epig's teammate. Just b/c I thought that he wasn't being a hypocrite doesn't mean I am either. So, to try to prove we are not teammates, I will vote Epig. If I'm wrong, then who do you think is baddie? Why are you voting Epig? You don't even say more than just "to try to prove we are not teammates, I will vote Epig." Which reads to me as "I am Epig's teammate and I'm going to try to prove to you that I'm not."

Why did you vote for DP? If you seriously thought what people were saying about Snow Dog early in the game made him most suspicious, why did you drop it absolutely and completely, only to then turn to He-Man looking suspicious, and then not mentioning any of those things again and voting a low poster? How was DP most worthy of your vote and seemingly most baddie?

And I really don't think I'll be eating socks. ;)
I vote Epig to show that I am not on his team and that I am not a baddie. Plain and simple. Why would I vote for a teammate? I would not vote for him to say, "I am Epig's teammate and I'm going to try to prove to you that I'm not", b/c I am a horrible liar.

My reasons for voting DP were clear. I stated SD sounded like a good lynch withing the first few posts of the game. He was the only one being pingy right from the start. However, he became less pingy. I also said low posters was a good way to go. In the end, I chose the lowest poster. I think that choice is better than trying to speculate who is baddie so early in the game.

And, yes, you'll be eating socks :D I'm telling you, I am a horrible liar. And, I am not baddie. I am definitely civvie and a friend of yours :daisy:

viewtopic.php?f=20&t=129&p=13598#p13598 Here she says it’s difficult to know who to lynch. Now why doesn’t S~V~S get on HER for squashing discussion? Double standard much? And then Elohcin sets up her future vote by saying “Snow Dog does seem most suspicious as others have pointed out.” That’s a very baddie phrase if I’ve ever seen one, trust me. I’ve been there.

I know I said we may want to lynch Snow Dog earlier, but there were much fewer posts at the time and he seemed to be the only one (other than low posters) that we could point our finger at. However, now I am being pinged by He-Man. He mentions that Epig is being hypocritical by wanting to punish low posters here (by voting for one of them) but does not punish them in MOTU which he is hosting. Obviously, as a host, Epig must stay neutral. He cannot punish low posters in MOTU. He can, however, look at low posters in this game as trying to fly under the radar (which is what I think many baddies will do). I think baddies will do one of two things - be a low poster to try and fly under the radar or come out aggressive and pointing fingers for no good reason just to try to get the attention of players off of them while keeping their post counts up. I think that He-Man is doing the latter. I also feel bad for LT. He-Man seems to defend her a good deal as a low poster which makes me think that he may have BTSC with her which would mean she is baddie as well. Way to call out a teammate there He-Man. :disappoint:
This is pingworthy. He-Man starts going after Epignosis, and she flip flops on Snow Dog because she’s starting to realize she might have to vote to save her teammate. She seems to strongly think He-Man and LT are baddie teammates. Just read this post! It’s absurd. Why would she say this if she were civvie? She has been very cautious in the MOTU game. Remember how she said repeatedly that she didn’t want to post anything until she was absolutely sure? This is a stark contrast.
Elohcin wrote:Oh, and I don't see how the first poll has anything to do with it all. I had no information about the poll. I voted ship for the hell of it. Like I said, nothing to go on.
This very much reads to me as the shifty-eyed baddie. “I didn’t do anything. What are you talking about? Nothing else to go on. No, I’m not baddie. Ship wasn’t the baddie option. Let’s not talk about this.” Seems she wants to squash discussion about this. Just like Epignosis saying it was “bickering” and a “red herring”.

Then there’s her vote. Even weirder!

She starts to back off He-Man a bit and sets up a vote for a low poster. Then she votes DP who coincidentally also already had one vote against him. Come on. If Elohcin isn’t baddie, I will eat a sock. No, I will eat thousands of socks. And that's cannibalism for me!

What? And this coming from a Ship voter? :ponder:

Where has He-Man defended me? I did see where he responded to a post by Epig listing low posters....

And why is he-man a baddie, exactly? Oh, right... Epignosis thinks he is posting nonsense (I must say, I find people saying this about He-man's posts to be a bit off - I can understand what he is saying. He posts from an iPad so, as those of us who have used tablets or phones know, sometimes they are hard to type on).

I have no BTSC in this game.

I might call your post a defense of Epignosis - another Ship voter ;)

Also, the fact that you say you were planning on voting Snow Dog also catches my eye - he is certainly the most easily lynchable today, so baddies will definitely be wanting to hop that bandwagon if it rolls. But now, this attention on He-Man is catching MY eye given that it is coming from Ship voters ;)

As for Snow Dog, I don't think I will be voting his way as his later posts make me think that he was just diving into the game and asking questions - but it got out of hand. Doesn't make him a baddie.
Hey hey, I'm just playing the game.
First of all, I never said I was *planning* on voting Snow Dog. I mentioned him as a possible lynch as he was the only one to point to (other than low posters) at the time. I no longer see him as a possible baddie for now.
Second, When Indiglo made a small statement to defend another player in the MOTU game, so many poeple blew it up and jumped to the conclusion that she was baddie. I've learned how to play this game from most of you all. I've learned that when the game is just starting and there isn't much to go on, read into what you can :D . Like I said before, I think baddies will either be low posters (to try and fly under the radar) or they will point fingers as much as possible. The reasons He-Man gives for pointing just don't seem reasonable enough. That is why he pings me. For now, I am thinking He-man or a low poster would be good to lynch. :srsnod:

Re: MINECRAFT - DAY ONE

RIP Stevie. I do agree that he would have died no matter which task we chose. It needed to happen to get the game rolling.

Even though it is difficult to know who to lynch so early in the game, someone must be voted for and Snow Dog does seem most suspicious as others have pointed out.

Re: MINECRAFT - DAY ZERO

Yay Game! :lorab:

I have never played mincraft, but this looks like it will be fun. It is my second Mafia game and I am excited to play :D

I spend the majority of my time at home, so I say we go on an adventure. I am voting for the ship! :bounce:
