Re: Death Note Mafia [END]
Gosh guys, I felt like such an idiot. I was just so excited to have btsc with someone that I even though it said L, I read it as Light. I just cracked up at myself, literally LOLed for a good 5 minutes. I was running around the kitchen at the time working on a cake and trying to play Mafia at the same time. Ask Epi, I am not a great multitasker. But even my kids came running into the kitchen asking me what was so funny. I told them, "Well, you can't tell Daddy, but...." It was so hilarious! I had a lot of fun talking to Llama though. I came up with all these reasons why he ought not build a case on me in the thread. Who knew he could just out me like he did. I wish I could have copied and pasted the convo...that would have been fun to post in end game. Oh, and I thought llama as a girl too

Maybe after seeing that L was allowed to share my alignment freely in the thread, Russ thought that it would be possible that MP was sharing info in his stories.Ricochet wrote:Thing is, no one was confused in any way by that, except for Russ who decided flavour storylines are now game indicative.MovingPictures07 wrote:Another Death Note has not been put in circulation; that was merely for story. Well, I have pretty much given up. Shoot....if I were in your position, I would probably end up voting me too. I have to be honest. But you must also know that just because my name is at the bottom of the screen, doesn't mean I am HERE. I leave the tab up most of the time so I can check it every once in a while and not get too behind. Today I've been busy living
The kids have seven weeks of school left for the year. Abigail learned two-digit adding and subtracting today (so like....doing the ones column, then the tens column) and Simon learned long division. I think my biggest joy in life is teaching my children. I also worked out, of course, I've lost 27.5 lbs y'all!!!!

Re: Death Note Mafia [DAY 5]
RIP Aces

I know this doesn't help my case. But....looks like if Higuchi is the new kira, he may be using L's own theories against him. I bet Russ is next.Epignosis wrote:These are the L posts:
"I do not currently suspect AceofSpaces."MovingPictures07 wrote:This is L.
I have determined that the likelihood of AceofSpaces as Kira is right around 4%.
Despite a poorly considered Day 1 lynch, I do not currently suspect AceofSpaces. Maybe don't let him lead any more lynches, though.
"Maybe don't let him lead any more lynches though."
An opinion and a suggestion.
"Hmm, the strong silent type. I'm not sure how I feel about that."MovingPictures07 wrote:Hello again. This is L.
I have determined that the likelihood of Russtifinko as Kira is right around 5%.
Hmm, the strong silent type. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Another subjective claim, followed by indecisiveness.
"Elohcin has a 0% chance of being Kira, because she is a confirmed Kira sympathizer."MovingPictures07 wrote:This is L.
Elohcin has a 0% chance of being Kira, because she is a confirmed Kira sympathizer. She should be eliminated as soon as possible.
That's pure objectivity containing an assertiveness that was absent in the previous two posts. This is another reason to maintain the opinion that L is not dropping facts into the thread, but his opinion.
I deduce that L is a someone who is learning how to use this role effectively over time, rather than L gaining definitive info on people that he or she can dump in a gossip post.
Do with this analysis what you wish.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. If Epi wants to suspect me for that, haha, newsflash: Seems you're already suspicious of me, so whatever.
I have no idea what to make of this L thing, but since I wasn't feeling very good about Elo in the first place, this just adds to it. I have no problem voting for her, but if I find a better option, I'll go with that.
I'm still interested in what Bea has to say in reply to Boo. I'd like to see the exchange there.
I've been suspicious of you before this day, and what I said is, L saying what he did just adds to it. How was I ready to follow L no matter what? I didn't vote right away because I never do unless I'm sure, and I like to weigh all options before I do.
This is a big fat NO U if I ever saw one
I am embarrassed FZ. I am so sorry. How I keep getting you and Zomb mixed up I don't know. It was her and Black rock that were ready to come at me. Maybe its the Z, I don't know.

I am feeling the pressure but I don't know how to defend myself in this situation. It's not like L said, "I think she is a kira sympathizer b/c of this, this, and this." There is nothing to defend against except to say...."Please trust me guys." Will you all NOT vote for me b/c I simply ask you to trust me over L?DharmaHelper wrote:I'm voting for Eloh now. Her response reads counter to what I would expect from a detective. Whereas I'd expect a civvie to be impassioned and defiantly defending themselves, Eloh has been quite the opposite. Quiet, indifferent acceptance of an eventuality (her being exposed as a Sympathizer) is what I'm feeling is the case. She's also avoided multiple lines of inquiry which to me is not something I would expect from an innocent person.
As for being quiet...more like busy. I woke up, worked out, showered, fed my kids and got them all three ready for church, went to church, went grocery shopping, put groceries away, made lunch for he family, cleaned the kitchen, did the dished, bathed all three of my children and just put two pretty Anna of Arendelle braids in Abigail's hair. I did catch up in the thread while each kids played a little in the bath, but I am just now (8 hours after waking) finally sitting down to rest. And....funny enough, as I sat down, my littlest came and asked for some cereal, but I was able to get Epi to help with that.

I see both sides. I have no ill feelings towards him as a player and don't want him to think me rude. Okay, sure....those may have happened. Even still....its only two people with BTSC here and 2 people with BTSC there. It still makes it hard to catch baddies. There's no GROUP of players with BTSC making decisions, scheming, and possibly slipping up in the thread or creating a trail.
Linki: Yes, I agree with TH. Good point.
TH, why fishy that I have to reread roles before answering? I don't retain info like some. I have to read the roles SEVERAL times throughout a game.

Re: Death Note Mafia [NIGHT 4]
@ llama - I am not understanding how I lied. Please elaborate.
@ FZ - I was more inclined to see Epi as civ and DH as bad. But not enough to weigh in.

Re: Death Note Mafia [NIGHT 4]
I didn't have anything to weigh in on the DH/Epi thing. I am still not exactly sure about Epi's alliance. If I am unsure about his alliance, how can I make any decisions about what HE thinks of DH. Any other big issues you want my two cents on?FZ. wrote:I don't know. I don't remember Elo saying much in any of the big discussions, like DH vs. Epi. I mostly remember her talking about watching the show, sharing stuff on her and EPi, that are a need to know basis :P , and posting a lot in OT green.Metalmarsh89 wrote:FZ, what do you consider to be big issues?
Elo, by the way, I forgot to ask you before because when I read it, I was in a big hurry. Did you mix me and Zombarella up? You had this post where you talked about how leading a lynch did not make those people good. If I remember, I thought you were talking about the Snowman lynch, and then you went on to say that even though it didn't make those people civvies, you felt nothing but good vibes from llama and me. Did you mean Zomb?
The off topic green was responses to Epi's late night OT greens.
And, I remember the post you are talking about. I believe you are right. I got you mixed up with Zomb.

EBWOP: "who to go for" meaning...who to vote, who to find suspiciousElohcin wrote:Actually..I did give my opinion of Epi already. And there isn't anything to get involved in but the puzzle right now...its all people seem to care about. And unfortunately, I have no idea where to begin with puzzles. What big issues are you referring to actually?
Linki: I guess TH. Anyway...I'm mostly lost this game b/c I don't know who to go for. I thin it's easier to catch baddies when they have BTSC. You can look for patterns, distancing, slips, etc. In this game, I have no idea what to even look for.
For anyone, what would you consider to be "suspicious behavior" in a game like this where there is very little BTSC?

Re: Death Note Mafia [NIGHT 4]
I'm taking everything in and observing as much as possible I am also trying to do some detective work and figure something out atm. I believe I am almost there. I don't find you crazy suspicious. I was in a big hurry to vote. It was already 7:44 when I ran to my computer to vote. I knew my vote for you would not affect you and it would allow me not to be punished for missing the vote.FZ. wrote:
Interesting that both BR and Elo are a little suspicious of me after I just said I was suspicious of them. Elo, to answer your question, I've never seen this show, and if what I see here is any indication, I won't be watching it any time soon :P .
Also, you keep saying that you're trying to think of what is considered bad and what is good. Is that why you're not really trying to add any thoughts? I feel you're even less talkative than usual.
I think watching the show has messed me up. It messes with your head being right in the middle of the show b/c Light is NOT bad. He is NOT kira. He is HELPING the detectives find kira. He has no recollection of ever BEING kira. And, he cannot imagine himself EVER killing someone even if they were a horrible criminal. So...it is weird. My thoughts are genuine.FZ. wrote: Elo is also playing that card, but with her, it's that she doesn't know who is bad and who is good. Come on, that's what you're going for? Really? That doesn't sound genuine. Is it only me?
Epi said that my reaction to his question would help him decide what question to ask next. I was curious to see his reaction...that is all.FZ. wrote:Why would Elo say she thought Bea was L? Wouldn't that jeopardize Bea? Why not just say she thought she was good? I don't get Elo this game at all.

Re: Death Note Mafia [NIGHT 4]
I've gone back and forth on FZ. I don't suspect TH so I didn't want to jump on that bandwagon. Also, I didn't even really look at the poll when I voted. I had last seen it ten minutes before going to eat and from what I remembered, no matter where I voted, it wouldn't have changed the fact that TH had the most votes. Now...that may have changed in those ten minutes I was away. But it was 7:44 on the microwave and 7:44 on my computer when I got to it, so I just voted quickly for someone I find a bit suspicious rather than someone I am not sure about.Black Rock wrote:Elohcin wrote:oh my goodness I just RAN into the living room to vote. I'm curious to hear it, I have had some suspicion. I just don't know if I am crazy or not.
What have your suspicious of FZ been?

@Bea, Black Rock, SpaceDaisy, and FZ. Have any of y'all watched the show? Death Note, I mean.
