Re: Angry Birds [Day 5]

Sorry if you are civ, Niju. I thought that if you were going to explain yourself that you would have done it by 5:45 (or so) when I voted. I am working and wanted to vote before I forgot vote. I don't think there is much evidence against anyone who is still alive. Its like a guessing game right now. But the fact that you've been so quiet makes me think you're thinking, "out of sight, out of mind." But with so few people left, no one can sty hidden. And you have been removed from the poll, so there's that. We'll see what happens, I guess.

So, lots of linki...I must have forgotten to refresh before typing my post.

Boom, I know DF has been very quiet. And he would be someone I would have voted for as well, but he hasn't been removed from the poll, right? I would think that if he were bad, he would have been removed at some point. Don'tcha think?

So there are 2 ways this could work. 1) The Golden Egg worked one day and night only. 2) For some unexplained reason that Epi and Simon didn't hint at in the slightest, eggs last forever and can be passed around, meaning the baddies automatically win. There's absolutely no support for this! Has anyone been passed a golden egg?? Clearly llama and/or you are making things up to distract us.

I'm frankly astounded people don't see what I'm seeing here. Am I missing something?
Russ is making an awful lot of sense today, not only with this post but with everything he's said. I'm voting for llama. There is no way that Epi would allow the golden egg to be passed around with the possibility of staying among the baddie team. Epi is all about balance.

I guess I read your question about blooper as suspicion of her and then when MM says he thinks she is genuine, then you are quick to agree with him saying that was your opinion the whole time too. Your post doesn't read genuine to me. I am wondering if we ought to look at quiet players b/c of the no night action thing Night 1. I know that diasy could have used her power night one, but if I were in her shoes, I don't think I would have done that. I would have waited until a more crucial time in the game. You're exaggerating MP, but I think she was being genuine. I'm pretty sure this exercise was new to her, and the fact that she continued to make baddie reads even after she realized she had eclipsed the mafia team's number makes it genuine.

I've never participated in this exercise before either though. I've just seen it done multiple times.
I know what I'm doing. ;)

For the record, I didn't see anything wrong with it either. Just wanted to see how she'd respond.

I have to say, I totally agree with you. My vote reason was stupid. I couldn't think straight. I was being serious when I said I should have just voted for myself. Drive-by votes are not cool. It takes two seconds to explain your vote. You had time to type that but not add an extra sentence?

Why aren't you recognizing the fact that I just stated an opinion on Daisy that she seemed incredibly genuine?
Tell me that when you have two dirty screaming children in the bathtub all soaped up and COLD waiting for you to rinse them off. We were at a birthday party much later than expected and the kids were dirty from hear to toe. I had to put them straight in the bath. There were crying b/c they had fallen asleep on the way home (about 30 minute drive) and I had to wake them to bathe them. You deal with that situation and tell me you can wrap your head around the game and explain a vote.

Now, to explain...I wasn't thinking straight. I worked this morning, worked out, showered and got my kids ready, and we left for the birthday. I thought I would be back in plenty of time to catch up, discuss, and vote. If I were thinking straight, I would have voted myself as not to put suspicion on myself in any way. Daisy, I am sorry. I saw you had the most and threw a vote there so I could rush back to my kids and get them warm and in their beds. I'm so sorry I have been such a sucky participant this game so far. Scotty wrote: Are you saying there could be merit to my reasoning that you could be a bad bird, Elo?
I thought you were joking when you brought up me possibly being bad b/c I am Simon's mom. Honestly, whenever Simon or Epi hosts, I get to pick my role. Whenever I host, Epi picks his. So, now the question is....what role did Eloh pick? You could get really into it and go look back at all the games Epi has hosted and see who I was in each game. But you really don't need to. I pick civ sometimes, I pick baddie sometimes. I am not partial either way. I usually pick by looking at the role descriptions. I won't go into specifics of what kinds of roles I like and don't like. I wouldn't want to be accused of outing myself. But, I have divulged this information before. Also, I probably don't pick roles that you would guess. In fact, in my last game that I played, I picked what Epi said was his least favorite role. He was surprised I picked it All this to say, :P shame on you if you try to make a case for me being baddie b/c I am the hosts mom. If you can't come up with anything better than that, you must not be a very good mafia player.
Scotty wrote:
Elo, can you give me a real reason why you're throwing your vote my way?
I thought I was clear. I believe that making a tie can be a good thing. It allows for possible tie breaking which can give us information about the person who broke the tie. We may not receive this info right away, but later in the game, it cane be quite helpful.
