I went with havok. I feel really out of the loop with this game as I've been really busy the past few days so I'm hoping I made the right choice here

Mojo, re: your thinking about Havok being chummy with Shadowcat... in light on his vote staying on her when it would be so easy for him to move it to Domino, does this change anything for you? He's been here all day. I'd think he'd have shifted to Domino ages ago, no, if he were bad?

I don't know if I'd say they were being chummy. I think they are civv/civv or civv/baddie. Just not sure which one might be bad. It's just been really hard for me to reconcile the timing of things said/done today with role alignments. Tonight I may be able to look things over more and try to figure it out but So many people are in grey areas for me and I trust very few of you.

I think if shadowcat lives through this lynch she has a pretty good chance of proving who she is to us... So I'd like to see some shadowcat voters move to domino also, if any are around to do so.

I'm not sure that shadowcat really is archangel or not. I even said in one of my previous posts that her answer to my question might not help me clear it up or not.

And there is an explanation for no one being missing from the last two polls and archangel still being alive. I'm not going to give someone else an excuse though, I'd rather wait and she what she says about it.

You've been trying to paint me as bad for most of this game havok.

I don't have btsc with shadow cat, or anyone else for that matter. I wish I did, it would be nice to have someone I can trust to talk with.

I'm just wondering why you chose right after I asked the question to shadowcat that you waited to point the archangel info out. Why not yesterday?

It's just kinda confusing without just spelling everything out but havok totally threw a wrench into what I was trying to get from sc. And the timing of it just stinks.

It has to do with what I checked of shadowcat. The timing of my question of her and him dumping the archangel info to the thread. It would discredit what she says to me.... How does he know what she would appear as?

Going into this game, I was super excited to be civ and try to do some deducing, since I haven't been in 6-7 games. I just feel like since yesterday, instead of getting to do that, we're being handed names and told "lynch these because I have info they're bad". For me it takes the fun out a bit.

I'm putting my vote on domino for now. I can't decide on shadowcat right now and she and people who suspect her all think domino is shady so I think this is someone we can almost all agree is likely bad.

I had a one time use gift and checked something out about shadow cat last night. In order to verify if that info I got was correct I wanted to ask her about her actions. I just picked night two to see if the info I got matched up with what I was told. It did. Unfortunately it doesn't really prove one way or the other if she is good or bad though.

Well if shadowcat is brotherhood, wouldn't it be likely that they are directing the votes off her and onto two others today? Or does anyone think they chose another member?

She just answered my question. Which the host said I could ask....

....and there are over 6 hours until the lynch. Plenty of time for an answer. If you don't answer or don't show up I'll be voting for you shadowcat.

The question is whether or not I can ask a certain player something in the thread. With the info dumping that has gone on so far I don't want to get more specific than that with you. I was thinking I could learn something about their allegiance by asking this but after thinking about it even more I realize that it might not matter what their answer is.... they could still be bad.

(This is why I should catch up in the thread before I post!! Because its pretty much the opposite of what I said above about the Mystique situation)

Sorry I havent been posting much everyone, I've been reading along though.

I'm going with the theory that Exodus was probably Mystique.

To Havok's points about how/why would a baddie team with seven players let a role like Mystique get lynched I'd have to say- How do we know they really have 7 votes at their disposal right now? It's been brought up that Dazzler was a possible brotherhood member, that brings the count down to 6. I think there's a good chance that Banshee might be a brotherhood as well, he was not around and eventually missed the vote, so now its down to 5? We don't know for sure what Scarlett Witch's role was so it could even be down to 4 at this point? If one of their members was silenced yesterday?

I'm just thinking that yes, if they have all 7 players still alive they could have easily swung the lynch, but I don't think they were at their full 7 voting power yesterday.

And if Exodus had not been on the table yesterday who was the likely lynch candidate going to be? Sunfire... the player who keeps getting pushed to the side in favor of other candidates. :hmmm: Like someone (shadowcat?) posted- I'm not 100% convinced that Sunfire is brotherhood, but the way that we keep getting directed away from her is kinda odd.

I've got a bit more reading to do today but if we are looking for 2 candidates, I would be going for Sunfire and Banshee.

So is shaw going to be the back up to exodus? Not sunfire?

I'm putting my vote on exodus for now because I'm not sure I'll be back before closing. I might be able to check in, just not sure... But the players who were understanding the magneto vote distribution thing could be of some help here I think, making sure the correct amount of votes get distributed where they need to be?

If only we could make people post the way we wanted them too

I will read SC's case on it's own merits and follow the links and read things in context before judging and voting. Not sure I liked how Deadpool, Sunfire, Domino, Mojo and Polaris jumped on it without adding their own thoughts to what was posted. All claimed it was interesting /good points/ good case wonder why they couldn't at least said what was the part that made them agree with it?
TBF two said they would wait to hear a response before voting, I hope they do as we still have time.

And after the way the last lynch went down we could definitely use more discussion early not the last half hour before lynch end. That way we can avoid some of the confusion that would ensue.

After reading his response I could go either way. I hadn't otherwise been trusting of shadowcat... I posted a couple days ago (rl days) about how she has just been showing up to vote in the night polls. This has been the first day she has given us anything substantial.

Also the timing irks me a bit.. Today was looking like many eyes on sun fire because of prof. X post but this has certainly side tracked that. shadowcat:what do you think of sunfire?

And to whoever was saying that prof x doesn't have baddie detection or role check abilities: there are other ways to get information besides the role (sorry if that was mentioned already).

I'll wait until exodus responds before I make up my mind in the case.

I will say though- I did have the thought during the night one poll that the brotherhood would make sure to get a vote on each option in order to maximize their knowledge,

I just went to the Marvel Wiki to read up on Fabian Cortez, and what you say here that he worshipped Magneto is inaccurate. Cortez was an enemy of both the X-Men and Magneto. He feigned allegiance to Magneto to gain his trust and then he betrayed Magneto. Magneto eventually killed Cortez.

Just wanted to correct you there in case anyone voted in the poll under the assumption that Cortez was pro-Magneto.

You are right. That's what I get for reading so quickly. Fabian recruited the acolytes and the acolytes were the ones who worshipped magneto as a god.

But Fabian is still bad news IMO... Hope it works out for you mikhail!

If the augmentation is bad then I see wasting it on him as a good thing. It can't be used against us at least. And if it's actually a good augmentation and he's still quitting then we are no worse off than we are now.

This "Fabian Cortez" is a super villain/adversary to the X-Men.... I'm really not confident that we are going to see civvie-friendly results from this poll tonight. Perhaps this really is a recruit for one of the indys? Or an x-man going rogue?

I'm putting my vote with cable, since he wants to quit anyway I see no problem giving him some baddie powers (what I think May happen tonight IMO) and then lynching him tomorrow.

I was just looking over some of the voting records and (correct me if I'm wrong) Shadowcat has managed to vote in all of the night polls but none of the lynch polls.

If anyone who voted for me last night is volunteering tonight I'll vote for one of them (as long as I'm feeling ok about you) I think this is a benefit to the civvies (as long as a civvie receives the prize anyway).

It seems like you weren't really looking at the outcome of your question from a civvie perspective. I'd think you're more likely to be a sentinel that a member of the brotherhood.

I voted for havok. I'd think that if he was wondering about the lynch being a tie that he'd have gone over the scenarios ahead of time and realized that he could have been outing important civvie roles if answered.

I really wish more people were participating....

Sorry I haven't posted much this day phase, Mojo has been working hard to bring home some bacon. I have been reading along though and agree with some points being made about players, particularly quicksilver and havok. Like vision though, I wonder if quickie is a noob because I got that impression from his posts also. But his posts seem to be getting into that desperate, backed into a corner feel:

Yeah because he was saying "guys please don't lynch me," well.... If you ignore questions and have a focus on something (morlocks) that a) doesn't appear to be something we even have to worry about in this game and b) don't appear to be bad to the x-men anyway, then yeah... I think you're bad-or at least less likely to be civvie.

You are confusing me and I'm not really sure where you are even going with this. I voted for avalanche because I didn't think his actions day one were civvie-like. He spent most of the time talking about killing morlocks, and the other part not answering questions people were asking him.

The timing of those two votes just pinged me a bit for a minute. Not enough to make me change my vote though.

I think if avalanche wanted to avoid this he could have answered more of the questions brought to him instead of morlock tunnel vision.
