Golden is le annoying.
Golden should maybe quit trying to assign prisoners to specific people? Even if he's sure they are who he thinks they are. I can see where Golden might think that his naming of people should be seen as his way of saying hi, but a) some of us are pretty good mimics and b) others of us are pretty sure smart people will figure things out soon enough anyway and c) the temptation to break the rules and confirm or deny might be too great for some of the prisoners. None of the prisoners want another LC type shooting to happen. Our host isHelp us help you. and finally d) since prisoners can neither confirm nor deny AND stay alive (see point c) not talking about prisoner identy when someone names us, leaves us in the position where others are reading us as x player whether we are or not. We can not confirm. We can not deny. And that impression could be false. That prisoner could be manipulating you. And now the thread is going to read prisoner y as player x just because it was suggested. That prisoner you name could be a different prisoner and can't tell you you are wrong. This is a very dangerous road.

Re: [DAY 5] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
It would be nice if we could arrest a member of the police faction today because that would enable us to deal with him or her back in prison if the Warden is capable of rounding us all back up. So far it looks like he's eaten a few too many Dunkin' Donuts today because we're all still here.Prisoner 740359 wrote:Are we on the right path towards whacking one of them coppos or is this indicative of mislynch deluge, perhaps?
I guess you could say he has a "fat chance" of re-arresting us before we can influence today's vote. *puts pinkie to his mouth*

Re: [DAY 5] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
Greeting players and prisoners. I have returned once again.
I would like to call attention to a curious fact that I am observing in the poll. One of the top three right now is sig, with four votes. One of those votes is from the Warden, with whom I have a sort of adversarial relationship. What are the thoughts on this? Obviously the Warden is a party that most of us want to eliminate. Is it possible that the Warden placed his vote on sig in an effort to trick us using "reverse psychology"? Or is it possible that the Warden is willing to "bus" a teammate behind his sock account, knowing that his vote can't be traced backed to his "unsocked" self? Or are we basically just ignoring the Warden's vote at this point? Really, I don't know what to make of that.

Last year and this year. Still working on it. I'll get there eventually.
I think DDL had some heat early on for steering the thread a bit, and I started getting suspicious of him when he started switching gears around night 2 I think and suspecting sig when sig was getting more heat than the space between my butt cheeks. I read this (and still could i guess, if I didn't have a problem making up my mind on sig) as a way to bus a teammate. His vote on gleam yesterday was exactly what I did, and so it would be duplicitous of me to suspect him for that, but I guess it's his slickness in switching minds in general that keeps me coming back to suspect him.
I think I should iso him, not in relation to sig, since I already did that. It could be a good idea.

Scott, you just don't get it, do you? Your father is back and all you can do is worry about these silly details. It reminds me of the time you kept challenging me on my plan to kill your uncle in an easily-escapable trap. Bad guys don't ask questions. They just frickin' do stuff. You might be a civvie after all. Clearly you've lost your touch since that whole losing your hair incident.Scotty wrote:So let's do a little summary here.
There are currently 5 prisoners that we know are part of the mafia families (6, if you count dead LC). That leaves 8 prisoners without an apparent win-con or motive, that [probably] can vote in this lynch.
Does that not bother anyone else?

The circumstances of the prison yard are inconsequential, really. A lot of 3-on-3 basketball, weightlifting, staring at the walls. Pretty standard really. Then an opportunity came about for us to earn our way out here to you, in which I played a somewhat important role. I'd like to use these skills to help you "covvies" emerge bictorious.
