I really enjoyed this game, it was awesome! I had a lot of fun making up ice-related puns for all my night targets. No idea where that idea came from but I decided to run with it.
probably this:
Mystique
*Secrets*
If Sabretooth is killed, Mystique will kill on odd Nights. If Mystique controls the kill, she may make a different role (eg., Cyclops) show up as the killer.

So, White Queen, is there any way we can all win together? I'd say everyone left in the game has played hard and is deserving of winning.

Havok 286
White Queen 264
Mikhail Rasputin 225
Polaris 191
The Vision 191
Spiral 188
Avalanche 158

Everyone is averaging over 10 posts per mafia day, so there are no slackers in the group. Whaddaya say?

Until then I'm gonna take his posts with a pinch of salt because it could just be what him and his group think. I haven't been recruited by anyone and I don't know how I was rezzed but if getting me out is so important to your win I'll vote myself because I'm not in the mood.

White Queen did this exact thing when talk went to voting for her today.

Literally the only thing that Shadowcat has done to show civvieness is the case on Exodus. That doesn't absolve her from being partnered with Apocalypse. OK then, you have been wanting to lynch Havoc on and off for ages, let's do that instead.

*changes vote*
I'm a little concerned by how...malleable...White Queen is being today. It's like she knows none of this matters or something.
Havok wrote:yeah, I thought about that, Mikhail, and I think it is possible. I don't think that it's me, though. I brought this up briefly many many days ago, but no one else seemed to notice it.

I was doing some reading at the Marvel wiki about Apocalypse. Apocalypse has used several characters over the years to do his bidding...by as you said augmenting their powers. Out of all the characters used, only 3 are roles in this game. Gambit, Wolverine, and Archangel.

So, if Apocalypse's win condition is related to keeping anyone else alive in the game, I would say that it is those 3. Gambit is dead. I'm 99% sure Wolverine is dead. Archangel is still alive.
Iirc (if someone would look this up it would be super nice) the original theory put forth was that Apocalypse got to choose 4 players or roles. Something to do with Apocalypse from the show using mutants against each other and calling them his Four Horsemen. If that is the case, I think thread behavior points to you.

However, your point is good as well. Do we know who Archangel is? I feel like we do because they died, but I can't remember who it was.

And finally, I don't really think it's entirely crazy to be looking at Shaw now. I do think it's unlikely he's bad because of the lynch survival, and I thought that lynching him when there were better candidates was a SUPER bad idea, but now I'm kind of at a loss to find anyone who seems more Brotherhood-y. Not saying I'll vote him, just that I won't necessarily push to lynch anyone who does anymore.
Yes, I know who Archangel is.

As for the big load of stool that White Queen just sharted into the thread, it would be unwise to listen to anything she has to say. If there are no brotherhood members left (And I really think that is the case) then that means thats Apocalypse is the only reason this game hasn't ended, and she is saying any and everything she can to help herself accomplish her win condition.

Re: X-Men [Day 13]

More evidence that Archangel and Apocalypse could be tied together:

Archangel was Angel aka Warren Worthington III. Angel lost his wings. How did he get them back? Apocalypse gave him new and improved metal wings and after his encounter with Apocalypse Angel was then known as Archangel. The very fact that the role in this game is Archangel rather than Angel makes it even more likely IMO that Apocalypse is tied to Archangel.

VOting for Longshot. Even if I didn't have to vote that way to save myself, I would still be voting Longshot. Rasputin summed it up nicely pointing out the Polaris lynch.

Bullz and Spiral, I wish you guys would reconsider your vote today. Bullzeye, again I ask you this: You said that the reason that you think I'm bad is because of my theory that Exodus was not brotherhood, right? What would I stand to gain by posting that theory if I was a member of the brotherhood? There was no bad intention behind it. I just became convinced of something and was wrong. Simple as that. We can't connect anyone to Exodus, so convincing people he was civvie wouldn't be helpful.

And you made a good point there about your lynch. It would make sense for baddies to jump on the case I put forth. It made sense and was an easy thing to agree with, but laying out the case and jumping on a bandwagon are two different things.
I don't think they threw him under the bus though, they just allowed him to be thrown. If a second Gambit was lynched in future without having done what Domino did, we'd know Exodus must have been fake because a seemer surely wouldn't pick an already revealed role. I think they hoped Gambit would be dead or less blatant, and hoped that Shadowcat would take the fall and when she was lynched people would assume I'd been the baddie and perhaps even rezz their seemer. That set up makes a lot more sense than for some reason claiming to have info about someone whose role they don't even know and wasn't much of a threat and then throwing their own seemer (Domino) under the bus to possibly die with another of their teammates, thereby going from 7 members to 5 in a short space of time when they had a good lead. Also I'm pretty sure you weren't the first to put forward a case against me. Spiral kinda hinted at it in the night and others might have mentioned it as well.
yes, that makes more sense to me now. At the time, what I posted made more sense to me. Proposing an unlikely theory doesn't make someone bad. In my experience, baddies are a lot less likely to propose something that everyone thinks is so far out there. Haven't you ever thought something made sense even when even when others didn't agree?

I do not think you should think I am bad. I literally started the vote against polaris that ended up being me vs. polaris. Polaris was bad.
Yes, and if you will also remember that I am the one that put the 4th vote onto Polaris which tied it up. If I was team mates with Polaris why would I do that on a day where no one was sure about either one of you two? I mean, it would make at least a little bit of sense if Polaris was getting a lot of heat and people felt sure about him. No one felt sure about either one of you two. It would have been crazy for me to throw Polaris under the bus if I was his team mate.

And to Bullzeye: I really hope that you are not letting the fact that I put the case on you in your lynch (Which you completely agreed was logical btw) cloud your judgement on me. You say that my case for Exodus being the real Gambit is why you voted for me before you were lynched the other day, yet this is the first time you bring it up. I've admitted that I was most likely wrong about that. That's all it was. It was not any grand conspiracy. I am not a brotherhood member. Pursuing a lynch of me would only end up in lynching a civvie.

IMO, Longshot is the best option for today. Followed by Sebastian Shaw. Everyone else, I feel pretty good about being an X-Man or in one case Apocalypse.

As for Sabretooth killing himself....there are roles that redirect targets.

Jubilee
Blinding two targets with fireworks, she switches their targets.

Jean Grey
Using telekinesis, she will redirect someone's Night target.

You still think it's a hilarious concept? :D
Actually, I remember it as being more or less common knowledge. Didn't Hawkeye basically say so that Night by talking about Dazzler spelling things British-ly? So I knew Bullz was Dazzler when we rezzed him, I just hadn't made the connection about no one else being killed when Sabretooth's killings stopped.

Re: X-Men [Day 11]

Shaw:

For one, I don't think it was common knowledge that Bullzeye was Dazzler when we were voting for the rezz. Two, as has been discussed at length today, Sabretooth was killed on N3. Pyro took over the team's kill on N5. The only person to be killed in between N3 and N5 was Dazzler. You can't see the liklihood there that Dazzler was Sabretooth? As for Sabretooth killing himself....there are roles that redirect targets.

Jubilee
Blinding two targets with fireworks, she switches their targets.

Jean Grey
Using telekinesis, she will redirect someone's Night target.

You still think it's a hilarious concept? :D

So, if you aren't a member of the Brotherhood, who is? Who should we be lynching instead of you? Since you were rezzed, you have been very, very noncommittal. You haven't expressed any suspicion of anyone. Your play since being rezzed is not the civvie Bullzeye that I ever remember playing with. So, even if I disregard the Sabretooth evidence, I would be leery of you at this point. You have seemed too content to just go with the flow...not rattle any cages.

Mikhail Rasputin wrote:You say it's not a problem and you're not convinced I'm bad, but I disagree. Every time anyone says anything about me seeming civ, having a good point, or not being suspicious, you react like you did with Bullz, trying to poke holes in what they're saying and asking how they could be so thick as to think I could be good. That doesn't seem to me like someone who doesn't have aproblem with it. You're reading it SUPER biased, but trying to tell yourself you aren't.
I asked him why he felt you were civvie and he just answered with "vibe". I was hoping he could point to something tangible. You are wrong in that I "want you to be bad". If I wanted you to be bad, I would insist that you were and I wouldn't let it go. I can't shake my gut and a lot of things that you've said I just can't understand how that they could come from a civvie. But then every time I start believing that you are truly a baddie, something happens to make me doubt it. I'm not out to get you at the expense of lynching a civvie as hard as that may be for you to believe. :D

Re: X-Men [Day 11]

Thanks, Rasputin.

Bullzeye: No it's not a problem, and I'm not convinced myself that Rasputin is Brotherhood. I just think that he's an odd choice for you to think he's likely civvie. you said that Rasputin and Shadowcat are the only people you feel good about. Rasputin is an odd choice is all.

I'm not seeing how Dazzler being Sabretooth has any effect on the whole "who is Mystique" deal. Maybe I'm missing something? If so, I'd really appreciate someone pointing out to me what I'm forgetting.

Re: X-Men [Day 11]

Bullzeye: Why in the world are you so sure that Rasputin is a civvie? Because he's backing you? What has he done in this game to show that he's likely civvie? You say you think Shadowcat is likely civvie...and I agree with that, but I think there are more than just her in the likely civvie camp....such as the Polaris voters. You don't think that lynch showed at least that the Polaris voters were likely civvie?

I'm sorry, I'm just not buying this defense. It doesn't add up. And then you say that if you are lynched we should be looking at those that are pushing this case on you. Really? The case makes a lot of sense. Sabretooth stopped killing after night 3. You were the only player killed between night 3 and night 5 other than the lynched people. Is it really illogical to see the merit in you being Sabretooth?
