Re: X-Men [Day 11]

It seems that no matter which way I turn on the case of Bullz I cannot escape that the Sabretooth stopped killing when he (Bullz) died. I asked him if he had any alternative way those kills stopped and he didn't answer me which I presume means he can't think of another explanation either. I don't see any other vote that makes as much sense as this one does. I'm going to go ahead and vote now.

Linki: Almost entirely because of your late Spiral vote yesterday, and because of what I thought was weak reasoning for it and trying to blame me for your vote. That may seem unfair, since I voted Spiral too. If it makes you feel any better, you don't have to worry about it today, and we have plenty of time to talk it over before the next lynch.

Mikhail Rasputin wrote:I will say I like that we're talking so much today.

Oh, and that if Bullz isn't bad, either Cable or Bastion was. However, that all requires the assumption that Epi basically wrote the post as if Sabretooth were killed before executing his kill. Not sure why he'd do that, (could be order PMs were sent, maybe?) so I'm not totally comfortable with the idea.

Linki: Well, I think Shaw is a TERRIBLE idea for a lynch. I'm leaning slightly away from a Bullz lynch at the moment, but I'd still like to discuss it more and see what others think of what I posted. I'm strongly considering a Longshot vote, and thinking about one for you as well.

Who are you thinking of voting today?

Bullz, I saw the exact same situation in another game and the person when rezzed did not resume their killing because they knew they would be found out. Now, I think I was subscribing to the theory that Dazzler was a civvie and that it was unlikely that the kill could have been redirected to the killer, but look at the above quoted host post.

Dazzler is killed on night 3 by Sabretooth. Pyro takes over the team's NK on Night 5. Who dies between nights 3 and 5? Domino, Exodus, and Sunfire. That's it. All 3 were lynched and none of them were Sabretooth. No other kills occurred between Sabretooth's last kill and Pyro's first.

Dazzler must have been Sabretooth. If Bullzeye is Dazzler, I am voting for Bullzeye today. Can anyone give me a reason why I shouldn't???
Havoc, this certainly seems plausible. The evidence about who was killed between the time Sabretooth last killed and Pyro's take over seems solid. You may have convinced me of a Bullz vote, I just need to do a look back at that lynch to assure myself how Sabretooth's kill got redirected to himself (that is what you're saying right? or have I misunderstood?). I remember suspecting that something was off with that whole kill because two entities targeted Dazzler.

Havok wrote: Fair point, but in order for Spiral to be a Polaris team mate, Spiral would have had to make the decision to vote for a team mate yesterday and keep the vote there. That makes no sense when Spiral is the other lynch candidate.
It kind of does, though. Like Longshot said, Polaris was Toad, and the other 3 possibly living baddie roles are Magneto, Pyro, and Juggernaut. It's possible Spiral or their team to decide Toad was less valuable than whichever of those Spiral was, and when no one else is even on the chopping block for lynch. I'm not saying it's the most likely explanation, (I actually find it somewhat unlikely) but it's definitely possible.
Longshot wrote: I did not feel comfortable about my vote.
What made you uncomfortable about it, and if you were uncomfortable, why vote as you did?
I was uncomfortable because I hadn't thoroughly read the prior days. I voted because I grew up in the mafia world that was never miss a vote and don't vote for yourself so I was even more hesitant about that. In retrospect, it would have been more telling of my situation if I had voted myself or not voted. It was a bad decision I think all the way around.

I have never tried subtly to get Banshee or anyone else to vote a certain way so would you pull the quote where you think I did? What I'm saying about the thread is I could not read it all day Saturday, Sunday, and Monday because I was without internet service. I don't know what happened on those days but I did not feel comfortable about my vote. I am not the brotherhood regardless of what you think my votes show. If I have time later I will go vote by vote and tell you what I can. Civs don't have knowledge on who is bad and who is good so voting for the right person is not easy.

Oh I think I see what you are saying havok - is it that you're saying Spiral could have voted for a third party instead of a teammate? Or at least moved his vote when Polaris started taking votes? That's a good point. The only reason I can think of that he wouldn't do that is if Spiral's role was more important than Polaris's role and they didn't want to risk that in a tie, but I understand the probability of that is low. My gut was probably just wrong on this lynch. (If I misunderstood you're point pleas correct me.)

This is a surprisingly good point. I actually hadn't thought of it myself. You came into the day my top suspect because of your vote, and I still may go that way. Your reason for your vote (below) is very pingy to me, even though I guess I appreciate the trust.
Longshot wrote:I have just skimmed the thread becasue i have had no time but I didn't want to miss another vote. I'm going to go with Spiral because mikhail who I trust would have voted him and not Polaris.
Take some responsibility!

This just read as weird to me. The parts I put in green seem like kind of a cop-out. That may just be me, idk. You didn't have time to read? Literally nothing happened in the thread the whole day.
I did not mean to not take responsibility. It was my decision - totally my decision - to go with Spiral. I do and always have taken responsibility for my vote and should have added that to my vote post.

I am at my parents. They live a long way from me so when I go see them we are doing things all the time which makes my time very limited. As I said, I skimmed the thread and made a decision to vote based partly on my own gut and cemented by considering how someone else voted. My decision, my accountability. I could have not voted as 4 other people did because I usually don't vote just on my gut and how someone else voted. Another option as I think back on it would have been to vote for myself. All of this is just to say I was more wobbly about this vote than others I have made.

I understand why there are people who want to look at me and I welcome that, though looking at the voters for Spiral does not make sense to me unless you know for sure that Spiral is good.

If the top 4 on the poll are the lynched players, I would bet that Exodus and Domino are both represented there. k4j could very well be Exodus like is being discussed. If I had to guess, I would say that Boogs was Domino. Thinking back to Domino's posts, Boogs is a good match IMO. Since you seem convinced that Exodus is k4j though, I'll gladly stay away from that one. I'll probably end up going with Roxy and AP, since they're the only two I know, lol.
Yeah I don't know who I'm going to vote yet but it's good to know who you are thinking. I also want to see what some of the others think - maybe someone else has caught something that leads them to know who someone was.

Re: X-Men [Night 7]

I'm harping on this because I think it's a key point of the game. If baddies want to vote for k4j and we know k4j is Exodus then Exodus is more than likely Mystique. If we know which one, Domino or Exodus, is Mystique we are able to connect a lot of dots. Civs never win here - lets change that.

Re: X-Men [Night 7]

But Polaris, it is not common for any of the people on the list of the dead. It is only common to k4j. I understand they use it at mafiascum but we don't have any mafiascum players on the list of the dead. Exodus used the language. Exodus is dead. k4j uses that language. k4j is the only person on tht list that uses that language. Everyone on the list is dead, including k4j. k4j=Exodus.

FZ is also someone from KSite. And people try to disguise themselves in these games. I know i have affected British/Canadian spelling in other sockpuppet games (colour, etc). So i would not be so sure that that has any bearing.

Linki; so much the better. Clear eyes. I love this poll :D
I don't see FZ's name up there. That is my point: k4j is the only one from ksite on the poll, therefore he is the only one from ksite who is dead. Exodus is dead. Exodus used language that they use at ksite only. Where does FZ even figure into this? If she's in the game she's still playing - she is alive.
My point was that other people might try to switch it up by using terminology they normally would not. i think it unlikely that K4J would say "scumhunting" in this game because it would so obviously pinpoint him (or FZ). I have seen people in sock games go out of their way to affect the game styles of others. I would expect the same here.
Yeah, like how I have been saying "scum" this whole game, even though I am not from KSite.
I just went through your posts, 3 of 4 pages. I saw the word baddie sprinkled through there. I did not see one use of scum or scummieness or any other word derived from scum. Since you say you did it the whole game it should be really easy for you to link to two posts where you did that. You can probably fake that though but just for grins, put it on up there. I can always look back by date and time.

You guys are desperate! It's almost funny to see you falling all over yourselves to try and refute what I've said. It just won't work. k4j is Exodus and you want him back in the game.
