Well, I am still convinced Sarah is bad and nothing she has said today causes me to think otherwise. I've never seen anyone so reluctant to provide positive, useful participation even in the face of a potential lynch, so I am casting my vote for her.

That is yet a mystery to me. Agnes' exact words were this~

"But alas, I am likely not long for this world so I will have to hurry in any case."

That implies the possibility of staying. So I don't know. What do you think?
Jennet said this:
Jennet Bierley wrote: I know exactly why I have returned. I'm sure you could figure it out if you look at what's happened in recent parts of the game. Let's just say that I don't have long here (very much like Agnes), and I'm pressing as a result of that.
To me, this reads like a clever way to avoid getting lynched. Who would waste a lynch on someone who is going to die anyway? I think it is a big fat lie.

Although that doesn't necessarily make her bad. Civvies lie too sometimes.

What I think is worth remembering is that Agnes came back as a zombie, whereas these two are not zombies. That may be a telling difference. Re: [DAY 10] Harry Potter Mafia

I think in light of the last lynch, we need to reevaluate our suspicions a bit. Today I am going to take a look at Jane (even though she is insanified) since I have previously pretty much ignored her. I'm not saying I suspect her, just that I haven't given her a thorough look. I still suspect Sarah and Alice pretty hard for their continued refusal to participate, but I'm going to throw out some of my old prejudices today and try to see things with fresh eyes.

I find it interesting that Jennett implied she would be gone, and yet she is not.

Wow indeed.

Now that I am not insane I can explain my vote. I thought Anne had been acting very baddie. She was completely silent and non-participatory until she started getting suspicion, then she was super-active and defensive, giving a lot of NO Us and quite a few arguments that made no sense. It smacked of desperation, and I really thought she was bad. She ended up being Slytherin, so I was pretty close, right? :P

I too have grave misgivings about the way Barbara and Jennet have been playing. It smells really fishy to just pop up out of nowhere, point to someone, shout "HER!" and then immediately cast votes. It feels manipulative and I don't like being manipulated. That being said, I have no real opinion of Karin and my vote was not about saving her, it was about voting my conscience as I have ALWAYS done this game and will continue to do. Sarah Good still hasn't contributed a thing and expects to win the game without ever making a single substantive post. I still think she's a baddie who has figured out how this site works.

It means that you've learned that the easiest way to win as a baddie is to never say anything anyone can use to make a case on you.

Barbara, Jennet, have either of you even read the thread since you died? Its honestly way too early and frankly there are other things going on right now. In addition I'm really starting to get worried about how lynches are being manipulated and then you cast quick votes on yet another low poster. Why Karin and why now? I have my own suspicions about Karin but this comes literally out of nowhere, and at a very strange time in the game.

Do either of you know why you were returned to us? Barbara, do you know how or why you died? All we were told was "non-magical causes". What do both of you think of Alizon and Malin?
Like I said before, I've not really followed the game thread since I died, so yes and know.

Re: [DAY 8] Harry Potter Mafia

Hey, I thought we agreed splitting vote was bad. :)

Here is my very brief list before I head off to work:
Alizon: I think she is good. Her arguments have been logical and direct and I don't see her as trying to manipulate anyone. I trust her.
Merga: An excellent participator, probably civ.
Maret: Confirmed civ as far as I am concerned due to the kill attempt.
Sarah: I think she is probably bad for reasons previously outlined.
Alice: survived a kill attempt, so probably okay.
Anne Whittle: I agree with Alizon that her strange bandwagonry yesterday smacks of opportunism. No trust there.
Katherina: I don't know, I will have to do a reread.
Anne Redfern: Has been a steady participator throughout, but tends to shepherd the discussion along rather than leading it. I could go either way but lan civ.
Jane: Alternately quiet and combative. Part f me distrusts her, but it could be my inner No U coming out.
Karin: I tend to agree with the others that, as low posters go, she is probably one of the better ones to look at, but she hasn't stood out in my mind so a reread is in order.

I did initially. Now I am not so sure. She makes a good point about her votes for Mary, although that is far from conclusive. I still think it is suspicious how she refuses to say anything of substance, and I still think Zombie Agnes is worth listening to and find it weird that not a single person (besides Jane) has commented on that.

I honestly don't know where to place my vote today, but I suspect I will have to save it to try to protect myself (which I hate.)
Also, her spite vote on me doesn't make me feel any better about her. What sort of person jumps out and immediately votes for the one who suspects them?
