So what did I lie about again? Maybe if you stop yelling at everyone and pulling your hair out like a crazy person, we would take you more seriously.Lot wrote:I didn't push at all against Mordecai. I did push hard against Isaac because I caught him in a boldfaced lie - something most people didn't bother to read. I just find this game too tiring right now. It's pointless being in the thread because neither my words nor my vote have value.
For the record I went ahead and voted because I will not be around for the rest of the day and may not be back tomorrow, either. If people start agreeing with Lot that we should not lynch Ruth today (which after her post ^ I'm afraid to see what happens), then just go back to who we were suspecting the previous day. i.e. Rahab, me, etc.
How is this fake? I voted for Ruth right away... Did you bother checking?Esther wrote:Well, this sounds fake:He was agreeing with Absalom that we should vote for Ruth but then he doesn't vote.Isaac wrote:Yeaaah. I'm with you there Absalom.

No need for asshattery.
If you're not being mind controlled, then you're okay with dying to prove he's civ, and living to prove he's bad? Is it all that worth it when no one else is voting for him?
Half of your Laz related posts read to me as if you're being mind controlled.Lot wrote:Basically, on Lazarus, it's either:
He's bad and I survive; or
He's good and I die
So for me, I see merit in lynching him either way.

Great result, imo. Despite Ruth being rezzed of course. I really doubt Ruth has changed alignment upon her rez. If Belsh could do that as Death, I would assume, based on his post, that he would rez someone like David to join the Heathens. In sum, I think an immediate Ruth lynch would be ideal.

So where are we now on that? I'm trying to streamline my time as best as possible. And if both he and Mordecai were bad and leading the lynch together, does Isaac's elf-vote mean they considered him a lesser-powered role and tried to save the Big Cheese by lynching the little guy? Thanks.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER X]
It was a risky tactic that I wanted to try. If I was lynched, it would have made Lot and many others rethink who they were looking at, which is what I would have wanted. Now that Mordecai has flipped Heathen, it gives us quite a lot to go on with this lynch vote in particular. Especially since it was such a close vote (a tie even). And no, you weren't supposed to figure out what was up with my self-vote. That's the entire point behind it.Belshazzar wrote:Did you explain why you self-voted? Are you even aware that your self-vote didn't do you any good and partially influenced you almost getting lynched? Oh that's right, you were baiting. Cool.Isaac wrote:Another non-biblical voter? I wonder what his reasoning is...
Nice backpedal, btw.Belshazzar wrote:Day 9: Mordecai giving up. Possible scenarios: Rebecca and Jonah out of picture. Samuel saving Mord. Jacob bussing Mord or looking better with his vote. Isaac, tbh, looking better with his self vote.
I'm pretty comfortable with my vote.
Am I supposed to figure out on the spot what's up with your self-vote? Isn't the whole point of a post-lynch analysis to elaborate closely how the votes look like? I gave Balaam my basic read, so it was just my first impression that I could come up with. In contrast, I spent the entire last Day extensively re-reading the game and look where it go me.
Enjoy your vote. If you're bad, it only aids you for me to be mislynched. If you're civ, good luck setting your next baits.
Before anyone asks, I suspect Mordecai didn't vote for me because 1. he may have been the Heathen distancing vote. 2. there were 6 players who didn't vote, so maybe he was hoping more would pile onto me.
Balaam, did you say who you would have voted for?

I intend to be helpful today. I am very curious to see where this Rahab thing goes, so I will be on board there if that sounds like a good idea to everyone else.

I'm also not saying that your surprise about a dead player's vote going through is suspicious. You clearly wanted me dead over Mordecai. Your vote for me broke our 3 - 3 tie.

In the context of Mordecai's flip? Forget you not, brother, that I suggested a Mordecai lynch before the night ended and before I went silent.Belshazzar wrote:My top suspects are Rebecca, Jacob and Isaac, if it needs reminding. Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER VIII]
For the record I wasn't trying to accuse you of anything. I also wasn't trying to be specific. That's where it gets dangerous. We're getting into the specifics of my role if I am activated, and the heathens will most certainly kill me before end game, if not immediately. You're clearly more upset about this than I am, though, so I'm just going to step away and let things play out. I'm sorry it got this far.Lot wrote:Isaac doesn't make me like him any more by trying to claim that it was ME who pushed him out into the open when it was HIM who role claimed.
If you are going to role-claim, you better be damn well willing to back it up. If you are scared of being killed by the heathen for being a 'confirmed civ', then don't role claim. For me, it's really simple.
No matter what happens, I hope I stop being a distraction so that the hunting may continue. Good luck to everyone on my side.
Mordecai, Jacob, and Rahab are good players to scrutinize next. I'm sure there will be a positive outcome there. Do with that what you will.

Because I will be confirmed. Then civs would have no reason to lynch me. And heathens would have no reason to let me live.
Like everyone else, I want to live. I want to win. Whether there will be immediate or long-term protection for is a HUGE If. And as I see it now, I'm safest on the fence than off on either side (where there's clearly sharp rocks on one side and snakes on the other).
I'm a walking dead man because you and Jacob have just painted me red and pushed me out in the open.

Absalom, you're probably the one I trust the most right now. I like your analysis on Balaam and Belsh. It helps me open my eyes a bit and look beyond their "super helpful, civ-friendly" play style. There could definitely be some sneaky behind the scenes action going on there. I think these 2 are clever enough to cover their tracks carefully, though. Ruth, however, I can see making mistakes, such as voting so closely after Balaam voted (presumably after they just finished discussing in there chatzy).
This is all assuming and theorizing, though. I'd like to hear more thoughts on this.
Now to go estimate when the next poll will close

I know it's easy for me to jump in and say this, but I actually had some really good vibes from Jonathan (especially after I saw who the player was) I don't know who I would have voted for currently.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER VII]
Haven't said this yet, but thanks for posting the polls, Balaam! It really helps out those of us who missed it completely :/
Unfortunately, I would have added to that Jeph train. As I said before, I promised to follow Balaam and Lot in whomever they voted for, and I intended to keep that promise. This only makes my shitty voting record shittier, though!

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER VII]
Second question I meant to add to the previous post: can I change the time that is displayed to me?

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER VII]
Okay, serious question: what time zone does this follow? I thought I had 3 more hours to vote!

In fact I will help vote for the one of the 3 of us that everyone wants to see lynched first. You have my word.
