Sig 2 is clean. And no one guessed I was Timmer? The constant "busy at work, no time to post" B.S. didn't give it away, I guess!
Great game, hostesses, sorry I couldn't contribute more!

@HOSTS, what if a hider hides behind a civvie but that civvie is NK'd, does the hider also die? What if a hider is targeted for a NK but is hiding behind someone else, does he die?Lipsticklacey 2 wrote:Nothing. Happens.fingersplints wrote:Being fine is the second. If Bass 2 targetted a recruit he would be killed. The only 'baddie' type role that a hider can successfully hide behind is a seemer... if we even HAVE one of those this game.
There is no protection from targeting a civilian.
@LL, I'm probably the only person in this game who has played as a hider, and I've probably done it about 5 times because I play at the same site the hosts took the concept from.
Whether you think I'm misunderstanding or not, Bass' post is clear, and you are willfully ignoring that. Fuck this.

Sig 2 also knew how the seemer works, and I still just can't believe that's information the hostesses would share in a PM with someone who doesn't have the role. I think he knew how it worked because he was Golden 2's teammate.
Still watching you Cookie 2, but that post from Sig 2, on top of the reasonable doubt that 'Someone' is causing, while not having me convinced about you; since I think the baddies could have pulled what we've seen off to create that doubt, and there are some timing issues; makes me think we should be careful with you, since I think we're in a situation where the numbers really matter.
I am voting Sig 2.
Whether the hostesses decided to tweak the role a bit is irrelevant to the fact that Bass DIRECTLY CALLED OUT HIS TARGET. LL, read his damn post, h pointed a finger directly at llama 2, hello? If I'm wrong about him being protected so be it, that's how the hider has typically worked where I've played.
Big picture, LL. Big picture. A dead guy just handed us a baddie, and you vote... for me.

Re: Day 9 -The Syndicate Mafia
LL2, I'm not, not even remotely.
HOWEVER, Bass has given us a gift.
A hider is a role I've had lots of times on other sites, and the instant you hide behind a baddie you die. And while you are hiding, you are safe from NK unless the person you are hiding behind is also killed, which clearly isn't what happened since it seems only Bass 2 died.
So, this right here?
"The next order of business is to resume scumhunting. I believe I've done a good job townhunting with Lacey 2, MM2, and Cobalt 2. I've been feeling better about Dom 2, also, since the Golden 2 business I stirred up. It felt like he was keeping an open mind rather than just hiding behind the wagon. I'd like to look into Llama 2 and Sig 2 in particular tomorrow. I'll personally look into Llama's posts tonight, and report my findings tomorrow afternoon. If he's hiding something, I'll find it."
tells me you LL2, MM2, Cobalt 2 and Dom 2 are civvies. And considering the last line, that he was looking into llama tonight, and specifically mentioning hiding, means one thing. llama 2 is bad. It's a slam dunk. Like, Bass 2 just dropped the mic from the grave.
votes llama. There's no way I'm changing my mind.

Re: Day 5 -The Syndicate Mafia
I asked the hosts how the seemed works. This is how they explained it to me. The seemed picks a PLAYER not a role and not a sock. Ask them yourself instead of whatever the hell that was.Lipsticklacey 2 wrote:This is not right at all. The question was if a seemer gets to choose the role they show up or not when they flip, and the answer was they do. The answer said nothing about the player/sock stuff you are bringing up.Sig 2 wrote:Okay, work with me while I sort through the Golden 2/BR 2 "who is the seemer" problem.
I asked the hosts about the specifics of a seemer role. their reply was that a seemer would pick a player in the game. Not a sock account, but a player, and when the seemer died, they would be revealed as that player, their power, and their alignment.
Thus, if I'm a seemer, and I tell the hosts to pick Golden the player, and then I die, my death would Sig 2 was Golden - his role - his power.
The interesting thing here is that the seemer would not actually find out their chosen player's sock account. In my example, I would know upon death what Golden's part in the game was, but not which sock he was.
If anyone wants to confirm this, just shout out to the hosts.
So let's look at the two deaths:
"Black Rock 2 - Lynched day 4 - civvie tracker - juliets (replaced reywaS Day 2)"
"Golden 2 - Killed Night 2 - civvie tracker - XthAtGAm3RGuYX - rezzed Day 3"
Let's say Golden 2 is telling the truth. He is Gamer Guy. He is a civvie tracker. He dies. He is rezzed. Black Rock 2 would then be the seemer. Correct? But.... wait.
For Black Rock 2 to be the seemer, and to show up as the civ tracker, who would she have had to ask the hosts to appear as? Gamer Guy. It's the only way to appear as a civvie tracker if she is the seemer. only, she didn't! BR2 was listed as Juliets, civ tracker. Thus, that cannot be the truth.
Let's flip it.
Golden 2 is the seemer. He requests to be Gamer Guy's role upon death. He dies, and is revealed as Gamer Guy, civvie tracker. BR 2 would then be a civ, right, the real civvie tracker? Except... she can't be. Because if BR2 was indeed the real civvie tracker, when she died, she ALSO would have had to be revealed as Gamer Guy! But she wasn't, instead she was juliets!
So, NEITHER way works, going by the hosts' rules. Which means there are shenanigans here that we are not aware of.
So, a seemer wouldn't be choosing the actual player; I'm not really sure how you managed to reach that conclusion, they're either choosing a role they want to show up as, or showing up as a player 2 that they choose before they die. There is no conflict here.

You waited util the end, you easily could have asked the hosts in PM if a "blown" vote could be changed in thread. You EASILY could have known Roxy would say no before doing it.
A seemer is RANDOMLY assigned a different role upon death. The level of coincidence here is astounding.
I mean, go ahead and make your case to the others, but I'm not buying it.

Re: Night 4 -The Syndicate Mafia
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that juliets would never, as a baddie seemer, kill herself to make a rezzed civ tracker then get lynched the next day. The baddies would just kill you, instead.
This a civ Juliets move, through and through.
And besides, seemers generally don't know which role they will be revealed as upon death. They don't get to pick it. If juliets is bad and got to pick her seemed role, it will be the first I've ever seen such a thing.
The layers of coincidence that a baddie seemer would randomly appear as the one role that had been revealed and was still alive...
Nope.

Hey all, help me with some catching up.
the case against Syn is that we don't know how many baddie teams there are, and his actions, while definitely anti-LC2, sort of read as bad and/or shifty, thus the thinking is that he is either on a second baddie team, or was going after his own teamie?
The case against eloh 2 is that there was some subtle defending of LC2?
The case against BR2 is what?

I completely disagree! If a case smells like bullshit, it's a player's job to call it out as such, because often, the bullshit cases come from the mafia. This is what civs do. Ignoring the shiftiness of a case because it doesn't involve you is what an indie or a baddie does.Gamer Guy 2 wrote:Why, because listing 5 while saying "Mafia is" is not the same?
