I went to a seder. That is pretty close, right?
Yep, it's exactly the same thing!
Hedge - I used to to stand up at bar and bat mizvahs when at college. Good $!
You are always a surprise! I never thought to ask if in the interrogation room about your past in comedy!

I don't like it. I don't like it one bit.
I agree with this sentiment, that a computer would ruin the fun somewhat. However, it seems completely appropriate to use something like this in a game of champions whether it's real or faked. I personally am enjoying the dialogue immensely, although I still have several pages to catch up, so that may change. :P
juliets wrote:Hedge, how will spreading the votes help combat Bob? Maybe my brain is not awake yet.
I see others explained this, but yes it was because of his role description. I think it would be bad strategy to spread votes early in the game as he wont have any or very few minions to start. I don't know if strategically it's a good idea to spread the votes as the game progresses, but one idea to consider, because I dont know how else we would mitigate the power.
Dom, does that answer your question too?

thx! It was time for a hedgehog, and who doesnt love a tutu? Ok, maybe lots of people, but so what.

My only ping so far was Nev's post giving advice to the baddies. That seemed weird, but Nev has posted many times and that's the only thing that struck me as weird.
My advice to the baddies was both good advice *and* good for the civs if the baddies follow it.
The thing is, Bob and the baddies are going to be at odds very quickly, and I'd much prefer that they realize that
each other are their first threats and leave off picking on civs for a while. Otherwise, the baddies will work against the civs
for the first 5-6 days and then Bob will have critical mass and beat them all using the inside information he will by then have acquired against them,
much like I used my knowledge via Epig against his team in bioshock.
This game, unless we are very lucky, will be about Bob.
Oh man it was so much info, because Russti-Jack had just joined our team too. That happened a bit in AGods as well, since our baddie team could role check dead players and then we could relabel someone as one of those roles. (That was probably my favorite moment when Mongoose was lynched and flipped civ, but we still didnt know who she was yet.)

Ooo good word, fucknutty. I like it. "These chocolate-hazelnut balls are fucknutty-ly delicious." Ok, not quite, but will work on it.
Nev gave advice like this in another game early on as well, was that Mario? I think he was NK'd the next night. He generally gives helpful advice, but I actually see this as possibly more his civ game.
Also disappointed in DH for actually writing a whole post about beating a dead horse without once using this.

I just got the feeling that she probably got one, but didn't want anyone to know about it. Just a minor ping-
Otherwise, I'm sort of interested in seeing if FH carries through with some sort of analysis based on my idea earlier
linki x3
No actually quite the opposite. I said out loud I was going to ask for one as I started the PM and mp was all, "wait until you read my post." Then I was all, "you suck! How many plasmids did you have to give out?" And he faked like if I asked him in thread he would tell me, but he LIED! Thus his feb face when he answered. And I originally was going to say "
Asshole." But I decided no one would understand. I suspect he only had one, because I did not dawdle that long. Oh the joys of living with one of the most evil hosts in the history of hosts...
Hedge, try clearing you cache or whatever, that usually does the trick for me.
INH, why not use Sockface instead of one of our current players to give us a sample. God knows he talks enough in every game he is in.
It couldn't have been many because I also missed out on one and that was no more than a few minutes after the post went up. Thanks for cache advice. Will give it a try! Avis and smileys are getting all mixed up for me. Socky would be a great example!
or anyone else not playing as DOm notes.
So that was a lot of catch-up for not much suspicions so far. Granted I feel that with so much discussion we are in a much better place to start than some Day 1s. I will have to think on it. I find INH's ideas note worthy and am definitely interested to see what "results" come from this idea tomorrow.
I think it would be helpful for those of us who have not played every game to have those who either were a role or could speak to some of the baddies/indy roles. For example Bouncer in Bioshock, do we think there is still a mechanic in the game to steal a big daddy? Because that could definitely undermine a team as many of us remember.
• Big Daddy (Bouncer) - [Bioshock] – Is mentally conditioned to protect one of his teammates under any circumstances, guarding them from harm. At the very start of the game, the team selects the player to bond to Big Daddy (Bouncer). If any character attempts to nightkill Big Daddy's target, Bouncer absorbs the kill attempt. Bouncer is harder to kill than most living creatures due to its thick armored suit; as such, it has an automatic 50% chance of surviving NKs. Starting Night 2, Bouncer targets a player of its choice with its drill, which has an 85% chance of killing its target. After using its drill, the Bouncer must take two nights to recharge its energy before another brutal attack. If Big Daddy is busy protecting on the night he is supposed to kill, he skips the night, and tries the following night instead.
This was a devious one and several of us died from this Plant in Mario. In that game with so few players it paid to pick a low number, so it would helpful to get non-players to vote as well. Granted talking about this in thread also gives an advantage to the team picking the number. I don't know how to avoid it with so many people frankly.
• Piranha Plant - [Classic Super Mario Bros.] – Secretly chooses a number every odd night. The person to vote in the subsequent Day poll that corresponds with that number is killed (Non-players and dead players can absorb this kill!).
