Yep, pretty much this. (Except for Thomas) I kept almost thinking about inh early on, but just couldn't convince myself of it.

Ooo Russti I am so going to think you are always bad now. I started to really think you were laying it on thick with the Hedge is a civ shtick, but again you played it so smoothly. Plus like I said in the game it really was hard to think you were bad then. :p

I was really convinced Llama was bad when he didn't make it to the warp zone. my assumption had been that baddies couldn't go at first. Clearly wrong again. The most fun I had was hanging in he warp zone forcing MP to answer all my mundane questions watching MR and others realize they couldn't vote for me. :D

So Much Fun! Thanks MP for another unique and totally different game. :fiesta:

Ok, I will try to update my list of all the votes, but I think it is definitely in our best interest to vote either vomps or AP out. If the consensus if Vomps I am willing to vote that way today too.

Home now and barely recovered from HOliday travel exhuastion. Woohoo! I am happy to report that the pie was delicious. Pecan, Pumpkin, and Cherry stiill meet my expectations of Awesomeness. No apple for me this year.

Devin, you have too many votes on you already, so I think you are pretty safe at this point. I am also not worried and wouldn't be surprised AT ALL if tomorrow AP, Vomps, and maybe Lizzy and Elo vote for me. There's at least one or two sneaky people who I am sure I will be surprised are baddies, but who are you... :ponder:

RIP Epi!

Well, I now feel even more certain therr are baddies amongst my voters. That was quite the quick bandwagon. Vomps is definitely a surprising one and makes me wonder if Lizzy still thinks he is Dr. Fetus.

I dont know what to think about Lizzy and Elo's votes though. I think the reason Epi was lynched was he still has no votes. The baddies have a good shot at lynching those of us with lower life counts and NK'ing those who have no votes. I now wonder how many Llama/DP actually had. Its not looking good for me, but I urge others to vote for Vomps or AP.

Alright I just reread AP more thoroguhly and basically he has as terrible a track record as the rest of us. Nothing in his posts makes me feel that he is civ and some of his defenses make me think he may be protecting himself more than I have seen before. Since we havent lynched a baddie and cant learn much based on votes I think i will look back at dead civ voting records. They may have been misguided, but werent purposely trying to vote for civs.

You didn't appreciate my massive vote tabulation after BOom's lynch? That shit takes time homey. Do you not suspect AP? I find his voting to be highly suspect this game.

Also, Mata is throwing suspicions at the wall to see if they stick like nothing I have seen before. But then I have never played her as a true baddie before. Maybe this is the first?

Considering Jiggy was civ, doesn't make Devin look great right now either, but it could be just a case of friends irl reading each other wrong as Llama does me every single time (and me this one time. Yeah first time I voted for llama I think).

Oh also, anyone want to volunteer that they found Dr. Fetus and thats why we moved to the Final? No, really? Cause I know who did. :wine:
I actually used your big post to decide to vote for you. "Some interesting stuff here" you said, and yet you never came back to articulate what interesting stuff.

As for AP, I always suspect him. Always. And I've been 100% wrong every time we lynched him. Gambler's fallacy? Yeah. But you didn't make a case on him. You just said you had shitty intuition, which is what you were acting on:
Hedgeowl wrote:I have also convinced myself that AP is not acting himself and think he is potentially bad. Soooo....
I will concede that the case you made on me was better than the case I didnt make on AP. I have been suspecting him for a while. You did read my posts right? If I finish folding laundry soon, then maybe I will bring it to AP. I agree that I find it very hard to read him, but I feel that his voting ahs been opportunistic and calculating this game. I have been put on the back burner by many, but make an excellent candidate to revisit I am sure. This game is clearly being controlled by baddies unfortunately and we do really need to lynch one, but that wont happen today.

Ah well, maybe tomorrow.
I haven't even voted you yet. But your post wasnt exactly inspiring.
I read your post above mine that you were going to vote of me, so wrote it as if you had. I clearly gave you the window you needed.

Anybody else find it interesting how many people voted for me in the lynch? I doubt Lizzy, Epi, AP, and Mata are all bad. That would honestly make no sense for a team, but with this few people left it's probably guaranteed that with that many votes I caught a baddie or two. 1/3 of the people vote for me and I am still a baddie? I don't think so. :evileye:

If my post sounds too cavalier the reasons are because I am civ and don't have to feel too bad if I die since so many die anyway. For those of you in LOST or in AG, think about it. How careful a game do I play as a baddie? This is clearly not my baddie game at all.

I could put more effort into this defense for sure, but it's Thanksgiving soon and so we are busy packing and traveling this week. I am pretty excited about pie at this point, so if you want to lynch me on Thanskgiving at least I will have pumpkin, cherry, and apple to comfort me. :noble:

That's right. We both look suspicious for voting Llama and I am not against the idea that you may be bad. However, I could also see a scenario where baddies joined llama in his baddieslang crusade.

Llama has come for me so often in games we play that after the last time I really thought we had moved past it a but, but once again he came full out against me and even gave me a catchy nickname it felt off to me. So when there wasnt enough support for me, it seemed like he just flipped and was playing the same smear tactic campaign against Boomslang. I am sad to see I was wrong, and think that llama and I really just cant read each other in these games it turns out.

I cannot fathom how llama is the one you are the most certain about at this point. Is this due to something behind the scenes? Originally that's what I thought, but there arent a lot of secrets in roles this game, so I am not sure where this is coming from honestly.

Honestly, if we dont think we can lynch Llama, than I am inclined to vote for his greatest defender Devin. Although he is very fun to have in the game. :fiesta: Llama may be bandage girl still, but if he were Dr. Fetus, wouldn't the best thing to do be to draw all the votes to you, while protecting your baddie teammates? This is my current line of thinking.

insertnamehere wrote:My current stance on Llama is that he's either Bandage Girl, and doing this stuff "just cause". Or he's Dr. Fetus and is doing this as an experiment, and just to fuck with us. OR, he's just a different civvie role who's got a lot of lives, and is doing this as an experiment. To me, the third is the least likely.
I find this to be sound reasoning. Basically no use trying to lynch him until chapter 6 it seems.

Granted, there are plenty of other reasons to suspect Llama (and believe me, I'm now considering them all), but I'm not following that one. :/
They are all probably weak, with very few lives to spare. Let's vote for them and make them die.
Yeah....not helping your case.

MR - 14 lives seems on the high side to me, but we all have different amounts, so maybe for some it's not. The idea has been floated that baddies might also have more than civs. We could give it another go and see because at this point Llama is the closest, but I don't think we should waste another lynch.

Mongoose - first two I thought of were Bongoose and Bangoose. so maybe just BadGoose (also has the Dr. Who Bad Wolf feel then :D )

Yeah, that's what your mom said last night.
Don't talk about the Llama mama! (I know her irl and she's the coolest)

Considering Llama has received 14 votes there are only so many options for his role. Don't think he would have survived otherwise. So Dr. Fetus seems to be the leading theory, although I cnat see him skipping sending in a a level. It says Bandage Girl cant be killed, so is that just NK'd?

Yes it seems Lizzy did vote herself. Unless you are a baddie, not sure how that helps us.

I do wonder about Boomslang, but Llama's announcement about a warp zone feels weird. I really cant decide, but my instincts are saying bad, which makes me wonder about Devin too if thats the case. I hope llama isnt Dr. fetus in fact, but am voting him.

Ugh! I've said this over and over again: I think he slipped.

As soon as I saw the Night 2 kill, my first thought was that CHAD was framing him, tbh.
How can someone who has only recently registered on the board know about Llama and Mongoose, and thus the possibility of Llama being framed when Goosey was NK'd on night 2, unless someone has been telling him about in the chat?

His reply, of course, less than satisfactory:
I put in work, read the thread, and came to a conclusion as most people do when they play...?
Yeah, right!
I somehow missed this theory of yours before, but it does make me wonder. Does that make you not suspect llama, but rather someone who is framing him and filled MR in on the deets?

I am a bit at a loss who to vote for currently, but we have several other players I hope to hear from soon. I am just not sure about the jiggy bandwagon, but it does looks like we would get info there. I tend to beleive him currently though.

I see you are still pushing ahead with your marketing campaign against me. I said I was interested in low posters, but not voting for one. It is a good point that we don't actually want to vote for Dr.Fetus right now. I am sorry Nev isn't here, because he was making quite a few good points I thought. What I am wondering, is if someone would have so obviously tried to set Lizzy up? Because she is the most suspicious to me currently.

Antics aside Llama, the more you push the theory of me as a baddie, the more I suspect you. It just can't be helped, because I know I am civ, but I don't know anything about you. Devin gave me pause with his certainty of you, so you are on my back burner instead.

(This may have been discussed already) However, I like llama's day 1 suggestion even less and am considering voting there because it seems like a huge baddie benefit. What if they have more lives than the rest of us?!?
Bring it. You have shown your true colors, Hedgeowl. Or should I say HedgeBaddie?
I've been looking for if there was anything else, and I'm just not seeing any evidence, concrete or otherwise.

Also, Nev is right here:
Nevinera wrote:We have a core problem here:

1) We don't gain any concrete information until somebody dies.
2) Normally people die when we lynch them, in this game people just take damage.
3) Scattering our vote around like last time will result in lots of people being hurt (and easier for baddies to kill) and us gaining no real information until the endgame.

Sadly, I don't see any actual solutions to that problem - bandwagoning is mostly 'hope we get lucky'.. Does anyone else see some way to not lose this game? Maybe we'll be able to uncover more information as the game unfolds via mechanics like on night 0?
I think Nev is right. Everyone hates Day 1s in mafia because they involve killing someone we're not really sure about at all. I think people want to spread the vote in this game to feel like they're not killing anyone, but they are, only very slowly. I think placing a high number of votes on someone is the best way to get information, unsavory as it is. I don't see how we can coordinate to all only vote for a few people, though, so we're in a pretty tough spot.

Llama's plan to distribute votes evenly didn't mean civs would be likely to win, just that the person with the most lives would. This makes me think llama has many lives. Unfortunately, that doesn't help me with his role since we don't know who has how many lives. (It also would have been an unsustainable plan, once those with few lives figured it out.)
That is most certainly why Llama suspected me Russti. I hate the No U thing sometimes, but that's basically what happened. I also had a very fun, but somewhat ridiculous exchange with Lizzy which made me thoroughly suspicious. I am just trying to relax a little and not be so serious in this game since I was a baddie the last two games I've played. The motivation is stronger with a team I think to play straight. Now I want to kick back, have some brewskis, and lynch some baddies. You know the simple life.

Granted, if I get lynched then my life gets a little simpler anyway. If people want to just lynch someone and don't care if its a civ, then I'll volunteer. If not, then I suggest we coordinate Andrew to lynch a baddie. With Dr. Fetus missing a level assignment I suddenly find myself interested in low posters. Didn't even remember Vomps was playing. Vompers, where you at?

According to his role description, I think he does.
Villains (4)

Image
Dr. Fetus – The game’s antagonist, Dr. Fetus, is truly evil. Every night, he hides Bandage Girl within a level that he has engineered to kill or confuse his enemies; he must choose which level by the end of each day period. If she is found, he flees to another world, altering the landscape of the game. When the players are in Chapter 1: The Forest, Dr. Fetus selects a target every night to chase in his Lil’ Slugger. When the players are in Chapter 3: The Salt Factory, Dr. Fetus selects a target every night for Brownie to race. Once Chapter 6: The End is reached, Dr. Fetus chooses a player to face in the final boss battle at his castle. Until then, Dr. Fetus cannot be killed.

If not then Night 2:
Jiggy - 2
mongoose 3
mr 7
DP 13
Inh 19

No idea if any of these people are lying, but also no one picked 1, so I will do that tonight.

I would just like to remind llama of a past statement he made.
First of all, what happens on Revolution Mafia stays on Revolution Mafia.

Second, just because I have been wrong about you in the past does not mean you can never be a baddie, nor does it mean my observations about you are not valid. I've been lynched as a civ more times than I can remember, but that hasn't stopped people from coming after me, has it?
Of course I can be a baddie. The last game with you in fact, and the one before that I was bad and you recruited me to your indy team. Your observations about me have a 0% success rate. You are wrong about me every single time, this time included.
