For those interested in the what could have been the ending, but was cut from the film because people like a happy ending.

Night 4

It all started with a finger prick and led to a humongous flesh-eating alien-plant form killing our fair crew. Audrey II started with Mushnik, ate 1 of the remaining three singers, but our lovers had so far managed to escape the plant's clutches. insertnamehere was not like the theatrical Seymour's before him. He was shrewd, clever, and recognized his life partner Epignosis from Night 1. They spent their nights whispering sweet nothings into one another's ears, while dreaming about white picket fences and a life together. They knew the danger that lay before them if they did not prevent Audrey II from eneacting his dastardly plan, so they plotted to escape and run away. Audrey II had other plans and had tricked Epignosis into meeting him alone. With Epignosis caught in the mouth of Audrey II he had little hope left until he remembered his cactus. With arms flailing he reached out and grabbed the cactus from his bag and shoved it into the roof of Audrey II's mouth. It took all their cunning with time running out, but thanks to fast thinking and a cactus they had survived another night. INH was just in time with a can of gasoline to help Epignosis burn the place down. They had ended the reign of terror Audrey II had planned for our planet and were ready to begin a peaceful life playing scrabble, making truffles, and never ever buying a house plant again.

Dom has been lynched. He was Audrey II. The lovers have won the game!

Hey all, so apparently the poll was messed up and showed INH and Epi already voted. If you guys could post in the game with your vote I will count that and give 12 hour extension if you need it. Sorry for the confusion!

Day 4

They felt invincible. It seemed no one could die, or at least had extra thick skin. Their plants made them powerful and protected or so they thought. Epignosis loved his new cactus. It didn't need much water, preferred beer anyway, and liked his cooking too. What more could a man ask for in a plant? He had made a great choice and couldn't imagine a more perfect human-plant relationship. So when he got home that night and saw his plant was missing he was a little upset. He walked through the rooms thinking how on earth does one lose a plant? As he stepped through the doorway into his kitchen, he cried out in shock. There before him was a beautiful handmade chocolate "cactus" on the kitchen counter and sitting next to it was his cactus plant. His wife smiled at him, "Oh your home! I hope you don't mind, but I needed something to use as a model for this chocolate form." He laughed as he opened the fridge to begin working on a new chicken dish he'd been thinking about all day. Neither of them noticed the cracked tile floor, where a plant tendril coming from the basement had been ripped up by their ever vigilant son Simon.

Night 3

The accusations flew! If Mongoose wasn't the evil-blood sucking plant than that only left the 3 of them. Debate raged on all day. Which one could it be?? They all clung to their chosen plants frantically knowing that the killer was among them. Finally the decision was reached that Dom would be killed next, to stop more killing. INH and Epi each had revolvers they pulled out and shot him over and over, but much to their surprise the bullets bounced off him and he remained unharmed...

No one has been lynched.

Day 3

Mongoose ran through the alley to escape 3 angry men clutching her aloe plant as she tripped over boxes and broken glass. She spotted a basement door, pried it open and ducked inside as quickly as she could. Fearing they were all behind her she held her breath, but to her surprise she kept hearing heavy breathing. Contrary to what she would expect it was coming from behind her. She slowly turned around and looked up, but couldn't see far into the dark humid basement. It was at that moment that she was hit in the face with a large droplet of goop. "Ugh, gross. What was that?" she asked aloud. A great booming voice replied, "Excuse me, I didn't mean to drool on my Supper! Come closer precious!" Mongoose screamed and tried to open the basement door, but it wouldn't budge. As she scrambled against the wall, she found a light switch and turned to see the huge plant. It was unlike anything she had ever seen, but before she could take another step, the giant plant had swallowed her whole.

Mongoose has been killed by Audrey II. You have 24 hours to lynch someone.

Night 2

As ths shock of Russti's final disappearance sunk in, our fearless team debated hotly who would be next to die. Dom! Mongoose! Hedgeowl! Oh wait...I mean Mongoose, they finally decided. At last they had reached a decision only to learn that they were too late. Mongoose had slipped through their fingers. She had survived worse than a possible lynching. I mean, she had been to the dentist for god sake's, she could survive anything after that.

No one has been lynched.

Sorry for the night post delay! I fell asleep at 9pm last night and have been busy all day today. It should be up within the hour. #lifewithatoddler

This is literally Russti's only post this game (which is not a criticism, I know he's hellish busy hosting a full game). In light of this being his only contribution thus far, I thought Russti was a super odd choice for a N1 kill.

Anyone agree/disagree/want gelato?

I totally want gelato. I was thinking about Mango gelato all week. Maybe I need to get some tomorrow.

Day 2

The sun rose in the street for the ever shrinking crew and yet another seemed to be missing. Mongoose looked around for her aloe plant partner, but remembered the sad loss of such a kindred soul the previous day. Epignosis eyed her suspiciously, but then that was the look he gave everyone this early in the morning. insertnamehere didnt know why everyone was so bummed since llama has led them astray and Dom wished there was more spontaneous singing, but was willing to wait considering the sad loss of their friend. It wasn't until someone remembered that Russti had arrived late the night before from Norway, that they realized he was missing. Jetlag they thought maybe, but then they saw his shoes half-chewed lying on the street and they knew something very bad had happened. He hadn't lived long enough to regret missing their trip to the plant store, but someone had taken it personally...

Night 1

Everyone was so enraptured by their new plants, that they spent the day in quiet contemplation. After long and meditative thought, several arrived at a decision that Llama and his smaller aloe plant did not belong. Was it really a helpful healing plant or rather something more sinister? They rushed him suddenly ripping the plant from his hands and smashing it against his head. As he lay there dying, they suddenly realized their mistake as beautiful harmonies left his lips while the life left his eyes.

thellama73 has been lynched. He was one of the singing Trio.

Day 1

With their new plants in hand the group felt happier and more at ease. Aren't plants wonderful peaceful improvements in anyone's life? Plus benefits like oxygen, detoxifying air, and the natural beauty they bring to any space. Yes, it was looking like a good day overall.

INH couldn't wait to get home and put flies into his new Venus Fly trap. He had always loved poking sticks in them as a kid and making the teeth close. Dom admired his Orchid with elongated petals and spots in his favorite color (whatever unique and interesting one that is). Llama was pretty happy with aloe plant, since it required little water, but also was great for those sunburns he often got walking outside. Mongoose was less certain, but had chosen the bigger aloe, because it was going to be great for drinks that weekend. She only stared enviously at Dom's orchid once, but it wasn't her favorite color.

Epignosis had been uncomfortable with the whole plan of buying plants in the first place, still recovering from his childhood trauma of dead lima beans. But he was starting to feel pretty good about his choice of cactus. As INH said "What could go wrong?" Russtifinko was late meeting up with everyone, because Norway is really far away, but he was hoping he wouldn't regret being late later.

People felt inexplicably cheerful to the point of an having uncontrollable urges to sing. However, it was at that moment that someone shrieked. As everyone turned to stare they saw blood dripping from someone's finger. Naturally they tried to blame the cactus, but as none could find any evidence they became more and more uncertain. Who or what had caused the injury?

Stalemate

Day 0 - Pick your Poison, ...er Plant!

Like so many opening scenes, our fearful few were standing in the street in the rain. As it poured down upon them, since no one had an umbrella, some of them were suddenly moved to sing while prancing around the street, fire escape, and balconies in balloon dresses and heels. The others watched on in mild horror and fascination as our trio of two gave a singing tour of the scene before them. They all wondered, shouldn't there be a third? Aren't there usually three people in a trio? How did we go from standing in the street in the rain, but completely dry inside a shop?

So many questions for the six people thrown together made of one Goose, and 5 Ganders, but were these their real personas or were they all hiding something more sinister? They soon forgot the foreboding feelings and enjoyed themselves amongst the plants. Which plant would look best in their apartments? Which plant was their plant?
