Sometimes who you thought was your ally was really your adversary the whole time. The whole "keep your enemies closer" strategy.

I think it would be a great tactic to get players to infer you are an ultra-good character early in the game so they will trust you and not suspect you, and you are gaining useful information the whole time. It is quite insidiously crafty!

You are correct, we all have to be some role, but I am not a twin. I can't speak for Mongoose. I think at this point its hard to define baddie. There are no more NKs, therefore I think it more accurate to say that we each have our individual baddies. Meaning those who prevent our win condition.

While my win condition does not require anyone's death, I had forgotten about the lack of Night power if we dont vote. For this reason I am going to have to vote today, but I've been doing some rereading to help figure out who.

Have others received drinks by now? Is this a nightly thing?
I've received one drink at this point. I think it was during Night 3.

I am definitely not a twin. Twins are crazy. If I had gotten a twin role, I would insist my twin engage in an honor killing.

I generally like Glass' instrumental works better than his vocal ones (except when the voices just go lalalalala or sing solfege or something) but Akhnaten is okay. It's a little long and tedious, but it has its moments. It's probably better to see it than to just listen to a CD. I much prefer Einstein on the Beach or The Photographer though. I haven't heard the Mozart opera you mention, so I can't comment.

* Stanley Kubrick
* Stephen King

I was looking at the Players List on Page 1, and noticed that no one has been NK'd since N1.

There are several scenarios for this, and more than one of these is probably occurring.

1) Until Nev died (during the Day 3 vote), he was very effective at protecting various players.
2) Wendy, who is still alive, is doing a rather awesome job of role blocking a murderer.
3) All the "murderers" have died off already
4) There were PMs missing from various players on N3 and N4. Those PMs could have come from a player who has a murdery ability.

In summation: do we think any of the remaining characters have the ability to kill off characters at night? Or: are defensive players just playing very smartly.
Hmm, these are really good questions. I had just assumed that when King was lynched that was why the killing stopped. Now I think many of us also thought that someone else might start killing as roles could have shifted. However, your points about role blocking etc. are worth noting. I think the chance of Nev and Wendy doing a combined role block, would require some pretty awesome luck. Not to say it isn't possible. Of your scenarios I am inclined to say 3, but we still don't know what Lloyd and the twins are up to. I think they are the last mentioned as potential "baddies." Of course after MP's lynch no one is going to admit if their win condition affects others lives.

Linki - Word.
I definitely think that was Jack. And I bet Epi would have fun in that role!

If Dick protected Potential Victim A on Night 2, then Wendy (who had blocked Random Person 1 on N2), could have still blocked the killer on N3 without double targeting. The real killer wouldn't have been blocked on Night 2, but his/her action still would not have gone through because of Dick's Protection on N2. <---- Is my logic flawed on this? Did I miss something?

I'm not positive we still have a killer out there either, but I think we should keep it in our minds this last in the game.

In other news, we haven't really talked much about the twins lately. I don't think they are killers, but I wonder what their goals are - what is their mission?

I stayed at a legit haunted B&B this weekend. I knew it was going to be, because it was haunted-ass haunted the last time I was there. This time, we booked a room next door to the haunted-ass room and it was completely not haunted.

Linki with Mongoose, lol. Okay, sure. Well, once you have one person lynched, it can be easy to go back and look at votes or posts and make possible assertions regarding who might have had BTSC with that player. Sometimes they can be easier to catch onto than others, again, depending on the circumstances of the game itself (how the roles are set up, complex or straightforward), the progress of the game (what day are we on? the earlier on, the harder it might be to make solid conclusions), the nature of the lynch itself (the closer it was, the more likely the teammate might have avoided throwing the person under the bus), and on the players involved (some are more risky than others). All of that being said, it is easier sometimes in practice and definitively in theory when you have something concrete to work off of to find connections rather than just shooting in the dark. Since we currently don't know who either of the twins is and given the game is on Night 2, the lynches weren't exactly telling as to who the Grady twins might be so far (at least I don't think so, considering we weren't focused on them... unless Snow or someone else similar taking heat is one of them, but I mean more so just thread focus-wise -- we were focused on Stephen King), etc. I personally feel like if I had to throw out a name for either of the twins right now I would be shooting in the dark. I need to think on this some more and maybe do some reading.

One thing I do find notable is that S~V~S and Kate haven't said a word to each other about each other so far this game. What that means I have no idea, but it is kind of interesting. They both can read each other insanely well. I'm sure I could think of other such similar things, but I wouldn't say anything immediately comes to mind as SUSPICIOUS or notable in that sort of way. Just observations that don't really tell much currently. But we still have some more time.

Okay, now I'm out of here. Need to eat and do other things. Be around later.

Holy crap, linki with Nev and Bullz. LOL. Thanks for the explanation, Nev, I realize now you said that earlier as well. I am intrigued. Bullz, your two cents are appreciated as well.
I guess what I am scared about is that we suspect Person X or Person Y are the twins because we suspect BTSC, but what we are really picking up on is the BTSC rapport between Tony and the kid.

I'll stop posting for now. Lol.

Linki with SVS, thanks for your thoughts!

What might be a better point for suspicions is to figure out who has been exhibiting suspicious behavior and then perhaps make a connection thereafter. It's always easier to catch the other BTSCmate after one has been revealed... or so you would think (sometimes it doesn't quite work out that way).

Can you elucidate a bit on why it is often easier to catch the orphaned twin?

Let's ponder on this RE: the twins.

Why?

Also, please elucidate on why
