Love: My coworkers!!
Hate: That three of my coworkers (out of 18!) are being transferred to other divisions
I'm legit devastated.

Re: Things you Love and/or Hate today
My in-laws are Mancunian, so we've taken a lot of day trips over there when we've gone to visit them for Xmas. It's the funnest train ride ever.zeek wrote:I've never been I'll have to check it out.Mongoose wrote:Have you ever been to The Egg Cafe? That is legit my favorite thing in Liverpool.

Have you ever been to The Egg Cafe? That is legit my favorite thing in Liverpool.zeek wrote:Well I hope things improve on that front for you. I can't imagine why it'd be so messy... Yes, Minister comes to mind. I'm from Liverpool, myself, but I do love London.fingersplints wrote:I've actually lived there since June of last year, officially I still live in the US I love most of the country so far
I'm jealous of kadaj who started his move to London at the same time but had such an easy time of it being half Portuguese. I've never hated being "just American" as much as I have since the start of this process.

Re: Things you Love and/or Hate today
I know! Usually older people love that I am Old Guard. It's doubly frustrating because I am the tech wiz at my current library and have my B.S. in Online Media! If he'd asked about that, he'd know.thellama73 wrote:Talking about books at a library? I'm surprised they didn't throw you out on your ear.

Re: Things you Love and/or Hate today
Love - The fact that I have homemade spaghetti sauce and pistachio-flavored tiramisu waiting for me at home. Also, there's yoga tonight.
Hate - I didn't get a job I interviewed for AT A LIBRARY (even though my prospective boss thought I did the best in interviews) because the provost thought I talked too much about BOOKS and "Books are passe."
