Fascinating, all the behind the scenes stuff. What a weird, wild game.

Ohhh I get it now. Cool.Tranq wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2017 2:24 pm Psionic + Holy: Teammate - Holy and Psionic become teammates and gain permanent BTSC. If either of them win, they both win.
After the nutella lynch the plan was to lynch a Psionic (either speedchuck or Quin), and then next lynch have the other Psionic self-vote so i survived, allowing both of them to win anyway.
The second one.speedchuck wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2017 10:47 am Hm. I wonder if, every time a holy dies, a player gets resurrected?
Or perhaps nutella combined with something that allowed eventual resurrection? What do you think, nutella?
Oh? You don't think it's accurate? Could you elaborate on that? There's no reason you would know he targeted you, I believe, but if you have reason to believe that Metal fusing with your power wouldn't have that result, I'd be interested. But keep in mind that (I'm pretty sure the hosts have said this) that the combinations can depend on order, so if you asked what you'd get if you fused with metal, it wouldn't necessarily be the same as what he gets when fusing with you.Glorfindel wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2017 9:11 pmI appreciate the reason why she is voting for me - it's like she's not trying to get rid of me but more a strategy of eliminating options for Epi's longer term survival in this game. The problem is, I think her strategy is wrong as it is based on information I sincerely expect is not accurate.
With this strategy in mind I will vote Glorf and hope enough others do that he and Epi are the top two, and hope it works. Though part of me is still nervous about the coolgang and wants to whittle down their numbersnutella wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2017 7:42 pmWell, I suppose you have a point, and we do have another double lynch today so perhaps we could use one on him to use it up -- but then he'll just target Glorf again... unless Glorf is lynched.speedchuck wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2017 7:23 pm Yeah, no. If Epi has a guaranteed one-shot anti-lynch, in a game where kills are unknown abilities that are hard to come by, that's stupid. And even if it's true, what will we do? Constantly kill everyone else while waiting for Epi to win, because we can't lynch him?
Either the game is nice and Epi is bluffing/only lynchproof today, or the game is broken and we need to expend Epi's ability anyway.
I'm convinced.

I got something of a somewhat similar nature to Epi's in that it only triggers if/when a particular thing happens. So I have no trouble believing his.insertnamehere wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2017 7:07 pm All of my fusing results that I'm aware of have produced an immediate effect that occurred the next night.
I'm not aware of any special "use-any-time" powers that have been gained by fusing. Has anyone else gotten anything of this nature?
Don't know why you think this. I'm reasonably sure I will not be able to kill again. I don't pose any more danger than anyone else in this game. In fact, probably statistically less at this point, since it's quite likely there are other element combinations still out there that produce a kill that are not snuffed out.
I chose.Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2017 12:02 am Nutella did you choose to kill SVS or was that a side effect of something else?
i don't know what this meansinsertnamehere wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2017 10:27 pm Funny that Nutella thinks SVS is scary, but just cast the deciding vote to eliminate one of the only people to speak out against her.
Feels contradictory to me.
not sure what this means either but I'm not wasting a vote on epi because he's not going to die
To anyone.Tranq wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2017 2:38 amWould you get a message sending ability to anyone you want, or would the message go to the Psionic player?nutella wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2017 12:28 am Re: speedchuck's btsc situation and the ensuing theories: I would believe that the person who targeted him is Psionic. He seemed to imply that he's not psionic, but I don't necessarily think he implied that he's not the same element as that person, because how would he even know that -- presumably he doesn't know the element of the person who targeted him, he was just given the btsc link -- so Golden's hunch could be true if they're both something other than Psionic. But I think it's more likely that the targeter was Psionic, partially because I know that when my element pairs with Psionic I gain a message sending ability so it would make sense for another Psionic combination to create btsc.
