I like Unfurl's theory about rabbit. It appears likely that he was punished for not voting, and so he might be Death.

Also, keep in mind that the messenger may have been role-switched so they may have learned something about SVS somehow previously.

It looks like a lot of people are voting me for no particular reason again, so I will wait until closer to the lynch in case I have to vote to save myself, but it will almost certainly be either SVS or Rabbit.

I would never have killed LC! I was looking forward to playing with him for the first time in a long time, and I was disappointed that he died so early. I like having him around. If I was Death I would have gone for players I didn't care much about interacting with or that I didn't know very well, at least at the beginning. And, seriously, do you really think I would have killed Boo after he suspected me? Too easy, and too dangerous. You can say this is WIFOM but if I was a killer I would honestly never do that. I was framed, and Death is out there laughing and planning his next kill. You'll be disappointed if you lynch me, and I know everyone wants everyone dead eventually, but you might even be sorry to lose my role.

SVS I haven't played much mafia in a long time, I really doubt that I have a consistent playing style or that it's the same as it used to be. Anyway I think you're reading too much into that. I reacted the way I did. Boo had no valid reason to go after me, and neither should the rest of you.

Seems plausible that Boo blocked me and then assumed I was Death because Death didn't kill. Somewhat of a presumptuous leap, since there are other things that could explain Death not killing. I assure you I am not, and never have been, Death.

finally, just to clear up as some people are unaware of this, I knew Made, Dana, and Nisani from the same IRC community that Enrique knows them from (completely unrelated to lp/piano/etc communities, but Enrique introduced me to there). I haven't known them for very long/don't know them very well compared to those of you that I know from lp/piano.

Made has an interesting theory... I didn't realize the power-from-name-mentions thing caught on, that was an ability I came up with in Freckle's BYO game on the piano a while back

Voting for Nisani. He's acting too strangely. I think he's under some sort of a curse (based on the Enrique-praise in every post), but I don't think that it can explain everything about his odd behavior, and I perceive him as threatening. Though it seems my vote can only be symbolic at this point. Shame to see Made go for no reason (he probably just forgot to check the thread... poor guy)

@Boo: I agree with the analysis that people might take advantage of "alliances" for WIFOM purposes, but what are your particular reasons for thinking LC is a killer? I'd be interested in pursuing that line of questioning. Tbh I think it's way more productive to hunt out NKers than players who might have BTSC.

@LC -- I didn't read that as a role hint at all. The role is apparently based on rabbit's winning role in a previous game, so it makes sense that he would have some idea of how powerful it is.
