ahhh I loved Transistor too!!!
I never finished Bastion, didn't really take to it as much but it was pretty and also had a great soundtrack of course but yeah I'm with Epi, transistor's better.

I started Pyre and likewise didn't get a ton out of it, it's pretty different though

My housemates and I started The Witness tonight and spent 4 hours in spatial reasoning puzzle hell before deciding to break for the night. It's an incredibly beautiful and well designed game by the diabolical mastermind Jon Blow. Can't imagine trying to do it alone, even with three of us working on the puzzles we frequently got stuck for a while but it's been pretty fun passing the controller around taking stabs at them and cooperating/each contributing some solutions.

I just (finally) started Bastion, the other game by the makers of Transistor. I highly recommend both!

Who wants to talk about the new Smash 4 characters because HOLY SHIT BAYONETTA Thanks to my dorm/friend group's Wii I've already been able to try out Bayonetta and Corrin and they're both really fun. We also just recently got Cloud and he's pretty interesting too. They all seem pretty strong. Mostly Bayonetta's moves kinda blow my mind.

Aaa I finished it and let's just say I loved it a whole lot wow what a beautiful game

Everything I read about the recent steam problems suggested that it's pretty safe/not much to worry about.

In any case, Transistor is a really great game and I do recommend it -- cool mechanics, great art/music/setting etc. It's on sale (along with everything else ) til the 4th

I started playing Transistor today (got it on sale for myself last night along with a couple other games I've been intending to check out). It's really fucking cool.

That's the Stanley Parable, made by the same guy. This one is where the narrator takes you through a bunch of abstract little game spaces made by a mysterious supposed friend of his (theorized to be himself).

Has anyone here played The Beginner's Guide? Really bizarre, incredibly emotional, absolutely mindblowing experience. I highly recommend it.
