Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (End Game)

What the fuck aapje :suspish: :haha: Dirty turncloak, how did I not see that coming :disappoint: Well done BR & LC, this game has totally blown my mind.

Also very surprised at how the endgame shook out. Did not at all expect Nubz team to win. I actually thought my team had a pretty good chance, though once I was lynched we had to rely on the numbers which were really close by that point.

Sorry TH, you'll probably never forgive me :p I really wonder how differently the game might have gone had I rezzed LoRab instead (or JJJ, lol, that would have backfired. But I trusted more that Lorab was in fact unrecruited :p ) Possibly a successful Guardian alliance would have given us the numbers power to win. But it was a risk that my teammates strongly discouraged, and we wanted Llama back.

-- What was your epic challenge?
Heal a teammate (or Guardian) who needs it, protect a teammate (or Guardian) who needs it, and save a teammate (or Guardian) from lynch, and you will become immune from negative effects for the rest of the game. (Didn't even come close, lol)
-- Who did you heal on D/N4? ??? Night 4 I had a protection
-- Who did you protect on D/N4? Bullz
-- Who did you silence on D/N5? JJJ
-- I can only assume you switched the lynch on DH, D6. Nope
-- Who did you heal on D/N8? Llama
-- Who did you silence on D/N9? Originally was going to silence MM, when the night restarted I changed it to Roxy.
-- Who did you protect on D/N10? aapje

Somehow glossed over that. It's a little interesting that bullzeye hasn't changed his views on people over the course of the game, but that's definitely true for some of my views as well so :shrug2: But now that everyone's been recruited he shouldn't keep saying he has neutral vibes from anyone. I'd like to hear some opinions from him that commit one way or the other.

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Day 12)

You have been blendy and based on your behavior you are likely to be Bubbles' teammate. I have suspected you since MP brought that case against you, but unfortunately, contrary to what you'd like to think, you keep fading into the background and I forgot on and off, and you haven't had enough of a presence for the majority of players to seriously consider lynching you. Same problem goes for Rey. You two baddies have been hiding from the spotlight and it's about damn time one of you gets lynched.

It's like you didnt even have anything to say about it and weren't going to even try.....? :confused2:

Can you pinpoint why you think my response was underwhelming? Please point me to what I need to elaborate on. I was in kind of a rush the other day and may have missed something.

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Day 11)

Epi, I didn't like the fact that boom had basically stopped participating, like I know he said he was busy but even when he was around he only paid attention to certain things and conveniently ignored others. When I suspected him earlier in the game he briefly reassured me with some good participation but then it fell off again and I thought that may have indicated recruitment. Then that survival happened and Daisy's theory strikes me as a real possibility.

I did consider voting for Tranq as well but my suspicion of him is less concrete.

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Night 9)

I still take some responsibility for my vote, and I never said I didn't think your case was worth following. The problem was that it was. I partially blame you because I might never have thought to consider BWT had you not brought him up with such a compelling case. Once you did, along with what in my opinion looked like implications that you were certain (stating "BWT is Ubzargan" as if it were fact), I believed you, and decided to vote for who I thought would be a baddie. Sure, I "wagoned" in the sense that I latched onto someone else's case and became a proponent of it. I do that in pretty much every game I play. I did not "wagon" in the traditional sense, as my vote was the first. I don't deny that I voted with my own conviction. I'm just pointing out that I only had that conviction in the first place because of the way you painted your case.

Wow, nice work Rico. It's a lot to take in and I don't know how much it helps me personally visualize stuff but good on you for putting in that effort.

Your conclusions about me are misguided though. I was dissuaded by the D2 BWT wagon, it's true, but that was mostly because people didn't seem to have solid cases against him, not because I was discounting the possibility he was bad. Tbh he fell off my radar for a while but when you brought him up in your Ubz case I thought it was compelling (you seem to have missed my reaction to that -- I am all for trying to lynch him tomorrow). Yes I changed my opinion on Bubbles after her lynch switch, and my cluelessness on finding her teammates was just that -- cluelessness -- but I am hoping we'll get one with BWT.

Also, Tranq is a guy. :haha:

Bea -- I think the idea behind voting BWT is to see whether he survives to test the theory that he's Ubz. Hmm not sure how I feel about Synonym. It does look like he was saved, but DH's comments give me pause. Despite my earlier misgivings I now fully believe DH is a civvie due to recent events, and he seems hesitant to endorse the Syn vote. He did vote for Syn yesterday to save Wilgy, but seeing as he clearly knew Wilgy was innocent that's to be expected. BWT's tiebreaker is interesting though, could have been just a result of his timing. I'll place my vote on Synonym for now, but it is likely to change, especially dependent upon DH's input.

Looking forward to your case, Rico. And yeah it probably wouldn't be fruitful to try to lynch Ubzebra during this position but it will be good to put your thoughts out there.
