Nope...Considering I was in LAST place at one point, I take it as a point of accomplishment that I battled back to the championship game AND only lost by 1 pt. :noble:

What's your favorite way to spend a surprise afternoon off?
binge watching something, playing video games, getting in a little excercise, maybe a little reading...I suck at time management though and would probably only do one of any of these...too many interests, not enough time in the day :sigh: ...

Re: Interrogation Room

bea wrote:but also - this thread is questions - and questions we shall have before BDH sinks back into the abyss.....

If captAIn (corrected it for you...you're welcome) modest and pedantic man were trapped in a room and told to fight it out who would win?
Duh...the Cpt., of course. P-man would basically just stand there and critique the proper way to kick someone's ass.

What is your current opinion on life in WWE land? I know we had a game here about it and I know at least DF and a few others were into it. Give us your opinions!!
That's a longer answer than I have time for....but in a nutshell, I was a HUGE fan during the Attitude/Monday Nights Wars era both of WWF (FUCK YOU PANDA!!!) and WCW. In the mid/late 2000's I fell out because the product became stale and boring, lost its edginess and went soft having to cater to youngens and their targeted TV-PG family rated programming. I followed recaps online but it never really seemed interesting enough to commit to returning. Now, there are a handful of guys that appeal to me I think mainly because they are fresh faces.

Which Comics are left on your "must read" list?
Sandman, Hellblazer, Hellboy, Sin City are just a few titles I'm interested in. Mainly any good, self-contained stories.
Do you have any TV shows you know you should watch and know you would enjoy and just haven't yet?
Soprano's, The Wire, Spartacus, Orphan Black, Prison Break, maybe 24...I'm sure there's a bunch I'm not even thinking of...
What about books? For me, it's Ender's Game. I've been told since JR high I need to read those and somehow I just haven't yet.
George RR MArtin's Song of Ice & Fire series, Harry Potter, The Shannara Chronicles, Dragonriders of Pern, Dark Tower...I know those are all sci-fi/fantasy titles, but outside of citing classic lit titles, I'm not sure what SPECIFICALLY else would be out there. I've read Anne Rice, Michael Crichton, Dan Brown, some Tom Clancy...I'll read pretty much anything if the subject is intriguing enough...sadly, I just don't. :sigh:

I loved your take on why Green Lantern is the second best super hero of all time. (Captain Modest for lyfe yo!) Given how you feel there - tell us all why these folk are awesome:

Superman -he's not...other than being an Icon.
Batman- ditto...he personifies the fact that money can buy ANYTHING...
Spiderman. I think he epitimizes the struggles of man throughout puberty into adulthood. He came from meager beginnings, came into great power, yet somehow remained humble and tied to his roots. He faces problems the common man can relate to./color].
Daredevil The poor man's Batman...
Preacher ok...well so far I think the show has kinda been crap! (prepares for the bombardment of thrown items). The comic was BRILLIANT, and I feel the show is making a mockery of it. The most intriguing thing about Jesse Custer was he had GOD-LIKE powers, but the comics weren't about that. It showed him struggle with having that power and the conflict in using them when he was fighting for the free-will of humanity, but more than anything, he took it upon himself to be the one to hold The Creator accountable to His creations.
Pick 3 underrated superheroes the rest of us should learn about RTF now and tell us why please. :)
At one point I would say Green Arrow and Flash but The CW has already done more than enough to promote those characters...sooo...
1)Aquaman- people bag on him for being lame (and because it's trendy to do so), but there's been some really interesting stories there, and with his upcoming feature movie, Jason Momoa (gratuitous plug for my bestest friend ever :D ) is gonna make him cool and respectable again!
2) Anything from Valiant Comics (prior to when Acclaim bought them)....Rai, Harbingers, X-O ManOWar, H.A.R.D. Corps., Shadowman, Eternal Warrior, Solar...it was all a very intricate, cohesive continuity that overlapped all the characters in the title, but not in an overwhelming way.
3) The Spectre- morality meets mysticism. Kinda along the lines of Preacher except whoever acts as the vessel doesn't really have control over The Spectre or how punishment/justice is doled out.

What does a GREAT Fantastic 4 movie look like in your mind's eye? I know what it doesn't look like...
I liked the first 2...yes, there's room for improvement, but those hit A LOT of the right notes...I'd give it back to Marvel and work them into the build-up to Infinity Wars...they kinda fit more in the cosmos than just here on earth...

What is your favorite thing to cook? (and yes, by cook I mean to make from scratch even if you don't actually put it on the stove or oven. you have several options here. )
I used to think I couldn't cook...so now anything I can do to push/test my limits I enjoy attempting.

where do you see your life 10 years from now?
In a house somewhere...uhhh...hopefully still married...a few pets, I guess...I dunno...

How many kittahs and puppies can I have when we finally get a house??? You know Imma gonna go for the more rooms per the standard rule so you just better start adjusting things now. :p
I'm good with being a stay-at-home hubby/pet caregiver :nicenod: ...otherwise it's 1 pet/BEDroom...

Once we have a house - if I can't have ALL the kittahs and puppies. How do you feel about fostering animals?
Nope...I wouldn't be able to give them up.

How badly do you wish ANYONE would come in here and ask you what your favorite color is - and other things to distract your wife? Not very...

In the words of Chris Jericho "I bring you all the gift of me, BDH...soak it iiinnnn maaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn....*basks in the glory*
A few questions to get the ball rolling....

1) Of all the awesome things Mark Sheppard has been in, which role is your favorite and why?
I would say Crowley only because it is the character that has gotten the most screen time, Lampkin because it seemed like his most challenging, and Badger because EVERYTHING comes back to Firefly.
2) Which Whedon project is your favorite and why?
Firefly because it was my intro to Whedonverse and it came during a dark time in my life and it was kinda what I needed to get me through.
3) What are you most proud of doing and why?
My current weight loss endeavor...for obvious reasons...
4) What did you want to be when you grew up at age 5? 10? 20?
I never really went through those phases of what I wanted to be...I still don't know...but at age 20 I wanted to be a high school english teacher mainly cuz I thought it would be easy and I'd get summer's off. :haha:
5) What do you hope someone asks you but know no one will?
I dunno cuz if you make it to my inner circle, I'm pretty much an open book...anyone who doesn't know me won't come close to asking something I would be hesitant to answer.
6) What is the answer to the question above?
If you ask it, the answer will come.
7) What is your favorite thing about Wabbit?
Not having him around.
8) What would surprise the you of 10 years ago the most about your life now?
You're gonna get married!
9) Do you prefer playing civ, mafia or indy? Why?
It's been too long, I don't know what that means... :shifty:
10) What is your most favorite role you have held and why?
I wanna say I was Pinocchio in an LP Fairy Tale Game cuz of the experience, Andrew in a Piano Buffy game because I embraced the voice of the role, Rube in Spacedaisy's Dead Like Me game cuz it was (I believe) my first SD game, and Strong Bad in a game here cuz I was allowed to play without ANYONE knowing my true RL identity or that I had any prior mafia experience.
11) What is your most favorite created role and why?
Marty McFly in BTTF mafia....AND YOU MF'ING BASTARDS LYNCHED HIM DAY 1!!!!!
12) Favorite superhero? Why?
Cpt. Modest because he. Is. AMESOME!!!! Runner up is Green Lantern because his "power" comes from his strength of will to overcome fear/adversity.
13) Favorite villain? Why?
Bane and Doomsday because they were able to fell the superheroes who had never really been beaten before.
14) What would most people be surprised to know about you?
That I'm really a superhero with a secret identity.
15) How much begging would it take to make you a more regular feature round these parts?
More than you or anyone else would be capable of with infinite lifetimes across all dimensions.
