A new night, the same night. Dark magics had wrought powerful consequences on the realm, and Dark Willow gazed upon the results with a malevolent gleam in her eye.

She watched as a dark killer entered the square of its victim, a jagged sword in hand. In the darkness, sounds of a scuffle were heard, and finally, a flash of energy and an echoing boom pulsated out, and the deed was done.

In the morning, when those around dared to investigate the previous night's commotion, they found Typhoony, laying on his back with the jagged sword protruding from his chest.

Typhoony has been killed. It is now Day 7.

Hey, crap, I forgot about something I'm supposed to do for this Night Restart thingy. Not only do we get the no double-targeting rule, but I also am supposed to post the original Night Results.

I'll forego a funky story, since it never happened anyway. Alternate timeline. I'll just lay it on you, all stark.

DrWilgy has been killed by the Witherdeath Cabal. RIP Wilgy. I hope doctors have good life insurance.

Except damn, Wilgy lives in this timeline. Fate itself has been altered here, and now you know the real and measurable outcome of this night restart.

That is quite the question. What makes an object good or bad? In the hands of a hardworking lumberjack, a chainsaw is a useful tool. In the hands of a psycho killer, it is something far different. "I say," said Gladius Mechaspark, swirling a snifter of brandy. "What has this fellow all out-of-sorts?"

The Trickster, out of breath, ran in as quickly as his long legs would take him. "Please... Black Crystal Grove... you must..." he panted, leaning on Mechaspark's chair and taking a gulp from his brandy snifter. "The Crystal has been broken!"

Even as they began to scoff, the sky lit up from the southeast, swirling with patterned fractals of temporal energy. "My God!" cried the Quantum Key. "It's true!"

No one else could respond, as the energies washed over them, sending everyone back in time to the start of the night.

The Black Crystal has been shattered, and as a result, Night 6 will be restarted!

If you have a targeted power, then you must re-target it. No double-targeting across a repeated night.

Otherwise, I'll assume you are sending in the same movements and non-targeted abilities, no need to PM me!

MacDougall smirked as the votes came in for him and juliets. It was all so entertaining, to see the angry people with their bloodthirst and cries for justice. He glanced over at juliets, who looked concerned, obsessively rubbing a spot on the back of her hand over and over.

"Time to pay the piper!" cried the Master Thief, slipping his hand into Dr Von Dreszenstein's lab coat pocket while he said it, and pulling out some sort of measurement apparatus. He furrowed his brow, trying to figure out what it was, and then put it back with a shake of his head.

The Grim Shaman rolled some bones from a skull, and peered at them. "Strange magic is at work here!" He peered around ominously at the gathered crowd. "I don't think-"

"Enough!" cried the Cursecrafter. "MacDougall is clearly the one- let's get on with this!" He lifted his runed hammer high and took a step toward MacDougall. The others agreed - MacDougall would feel their wrath on this lynch.

That's when things got weird. Every step that someone would take toward the condemned man caused the world to tilt for them, throwing them off balance. The Possessing Entity slammed hard into Gladius Mechaspark, causing various contraptions to begin whirling and ticking as the inventor fell to the ground. The Quantum Key flailed her arms and fell into the Chaos Wizard, who, though he was enjoying the chaotic scene, couldn't quite make his feet work correctly.

The confusion lasted only a few seconds, but when it was over, MacDougall was nowhere to be seen.

MacDougall has not been lynched. It is now Night 6. You know what to do - the earlier, the better!

For instance, I'd prefer "Yeah, there's a poison pool, it's up in the northwest corner" to "Yeah, I found the Hall of Mirrors, it's that little building right there, and here's the 8 different things the Mirrors can do for you!" I know that's not a hard line, so just try and be cool.

Golden's general discussion of who he believes was near who on the map is valid as well, he cleared that with me and I'm okay with it.

Epignosis was still reeling from the previous night's events, when his situation took a turn for the worse. He was completely unaware of the killer who appeared behind him with an Obsidian Dagger.

The Obsidian Dagger pierced Epignosis' heart, killing him instantly.

Epignosis has been killed by a player wielding the Obsidian Dagger.

sig woke from his shallow sleep with a start. Something was out there, just beyond the firelight's dim embers. He was sure that had been a twig snapping.

He began to slowly reach for a weapon when a shape burst from the shadowy treeline, straight toward him! He quickly threw up an arm as the Circle of Death assassin tried to fillet him with a curved black dagger. The dagger flared with a purple light, as did the assassin's eyes, and it leapt back to lunge in again, attacking his side. sig spun and dove, scooping up a thick tree branch as he rolled. Turning onto his back, sig swung the branch, slamming the side of his attacker's head as it came at him again, relentless.

sig leapt to his feet as the dark figure shook off the blow, and they squared off. The figure cackled and its eyes flared again, and this time the fire's embers flared up in a purple fiery tentacle, reaching for sig. sig swung at it futilely with the branch, but the flames simply washed over him. He screamed in pain, and then stiffened as the figure buried the dagger deep into his chest.

sig fell to the ground, and the figure was gone before his eyes had closed forever.

Tranq's eyes opened, and he blinked in confusion. He sat up slowly, recognizing the rising sun, and beginning to remember what had happened.

sig has been killed by the Circle of Decay. Tranq has been resurrected!

It is now Day 6.

As the gathering waited for the judge's decision, they began to investigate the strange explosion.

"Hey, look at this!" the Splinter Twin, distracting the nervous Canucklehead with his hologram, grabbed her bag and took a device out of it. Canuck spun and tried to grab it, but he snatched it out of her reach. "Is... is this some sort of bomb?"

"A bomb!" cried Yin. "Look what it says, 'Pulse Emitter'... it is a bomb!" The Feral Pixie growled and slunk into the shadows.

"No, that's not exactly..." Canuck stammered. "Why would I do that, juliets was-"

But it was too late, the gathering was already turning into a mob. No one would listen to Canuck's pleas as she tried to explain what the emitters were for, and by the time the judge returned with a decision, they had already lynched her.

Canucklehead was Cataclysm, an Indy role. Please continue the night in an orderly fashion.

Canucklehead and Juliets were brought before the public tribunal, and many angry voices were raised. Eventually, it was decided that a secret ballot would decide their fate.

The votes were read one by one, but as the judge drew closer to the end, a large explosion sent strange, stern shockwaves through the whole area, knocking the ballots down. A hasty recount was done, and the judge announced a surprising verdict:

"The vote is tied! I will retire now to make my decision, and you will find out what that is before the night is over!"

The vote has ended in a tie. A game process to move forward with a tied lynch is set in motion. Please go about your night normally, and you will receive a lynch post as soon as I can work it out. Send in those PMs!

Tranq was asleep in a small tent when it happened. A figure cloaked in the symbols of the Witherdeath Cabal stood outside his tent and spread its arms wide. Green light flared from its fingertips, and a toxic green mist formed, swirling and shifting like a living entity.

The mist crept into the tent, and into Tranq's lungs, causing him to shrivel and die from the inside out.

Tranq has been killed by the Witherdeath Cabal. It is now Day 5.

Luke11646 snarled and struggled against the ones who held him, but to no avail. "Watch him!" warned Gladius Mechaspark. "He's got hidden weapons - they're small, but they will kill you all the same!"

Luke glared at him, spitting and rasping, "I'll find ye! Ye'll be sorrryyyyy!" Gladius leaned back, disgust apparent on his face.

"We need to put him down, permanently!" said Smirk, shaking his head. "He's too dangerous." He looked at the Lich of Khastor Keep. "Will you so the honours?"

The Lich nodded silently, and moved closer to Luke, who froze, his eyes wide, when he saw the undead figure approaching. The Lich put a skeletal hand on Luke's chest, and Luke let out a long, high, keening shriek, as his green skin turned bluish-grey, and his eyes became blank white orbs.

As his final breath left his shrivelled lungs, Luke fell to the ground, a drained husk.

Luke11646 has been lynched. He was the Infectious Goblin, a member of the Witherdeath Cabal.

It is now Night 4. Movements and Night actions please!

Turnip Head awoke with a start. Alive? How? He gingerly pulled open his shirt and looked down, wincing at the sight of the rough stitches he saw holding his chest cavity closed. What had that damn doctor done to him?

"Worry not, my child. They just do not understand your greatness." Dark Willow stroked her hair consolingly. "I am proud of you. You will return to my embrace, and watch with me as they turn on each other."

"I only did what you asked of me."

"Shhh... you did well, my child. And you will return."

nutella has been lynched. She was The Darkness, an Indy role. All those who were infected by darkness have been cured, and their Win Conditions returned. Enjoy the rest of your day.

All those who have voted nutella must have their votes off her by the end of Day 4.

A dark figure swept across the night sky, the Circle of Decay's emissary. Wicked talons spread in eager anticipation of its kill, and it sucked its fanged teeth as its prey came into view. Bullzeye. Grinning at the thought of "hitting the target", it swooped down.

Bullzeye felt the dark presence above him, and turned in horror, but there was nowhere to run. Bullz screamed as the figure ripped into him gleefully, tearing him open and revelling in the feel of his warm blood as it washed over its claws. It landed, and plunged its jagged-toothed maw into his belly, ripping out organs and feasting on them until others began to arrive, hearing the commotion.

"Oh dear god!" cried Canucklehead, turning away from the awful scene.

"What is that thing?" yelled Typhoony. "It's some sort of demon! A demon!"

"My god, it's awful!" cried Bullzeye, just arriving at the scene. Confused, the others turned to look at him. "What?" he said. "It's... it's awful. What did I say?"

The creature snorted, glaring at Bullzeye with pulsing red and yellow eyes. It took one more big bite of Bullzeye before launching itself once again into the night sky.

* * * * *

Elsewhere, Dr Von Dreszenstein was busy with a living experiment strapped to his table. Woozily, Turnip Head came to, and looked around, struggling against the manacles that held him in place.

"What is this?!" he cried. "Let me out of here!"

"Of course, of course," reassured the Doctor. "But first, in the name of science, I must complete a little experiment on you."

"What? No!" Turnip Head strained again, but it was no use. "What are you going to do??"

"I just need to remove your heart. You may feel a slight pinch."

Turnip Head screamed until he could scream no more.

Turnip Head has been killed by Dr Von Dreszenstein.

Day 4 has begun. You will be lynching two people today. I'll be generous and let you know: someone will be lynched after 24 hours, and then another person will be lynched at the end of the day, after the full 48 hours.

TinyBubbles panted as she pressed her back up against a thick tree in the darkness. She could hear the angry voices from several directions now, and torchlight lit up the woods all around. She had been running for too long, and her lungs burned and her muscles ached.

She dug her claws into the tree to climb up and hide in the thick foliage, but she didn't make it all the way up before someone yelled "There she is! I see her!"

Quickly the people converged, swords, torches, pitchforks, and nooses in everyone's hands. TinyBubbles scampered up higher into the tree, and tried to climb out a high branch to reach a neighbouring tree, but a crossbow bolt thudded into her shoulder and she cried out, retreating.

It wasn't long before they set fire to the tree, and as the flames rose, TinyBubbles had to leap to the ground, where they all converged on her, and she died, curled up in a ball, stabbed over and over.

TinyBubbles has been lynched. She was the Beautiful Beast.

A necessary alteration has been made to the Win Conditions of the Civvies and both baddie teams. It is no longer required for these teams to kill The Darkness in order to fulfil their Win Conditions.

Votes are changeable, so casting one vote now and another one later should be fine.

a2thezebra was travelling to her new location, when she saw a deep, slow-flowing stream running through the forest. The days had been hot, and it looked like just the thing to refresh her skin and wash the stresses of the day away. She looked around carefully, and, seeing no one around, waded in and sank in the cool waters, smiling in the moonlight and closing her eyes. It was so peaceful, so relaxing...

When she reopened her eyes, the sky had changed. The moon had moved, and the stars were different - she had fallen asleep, how long had she been out? The once refreshing waters now chilled her to the bone - she had been in too long. As she moved for the shore, a rustling in the nearby shadows caught her attention.

"Is someone there?" she called out, hating how quiet and scared her voice sounded, but at the same time, too loud. The shadow moved again, and she thought she could hear sadistic chuckling - or was that just the water? She decided to make a run for her belongings, only a few metres away on the shore, but she had only taken a few steps when a dark bolt shot out from the shadows, striking her in the shoulder. She cried out in pain, and tried to turn back, to hide herself in the water that was turning much too red, much too quickly.

Another bolt shot out and into her back, and she fell forward. Her face was under the water, but she couldn't move to take another breath. She barely felt as a third bolt thudded into her ribs, but before she sunk into the stream forever, sadistic chuckling was the last sound her ears heard.

Dr Von Dreszenstein laughed maniacally, flipping levers on his machine. "This is it, Jimmy," he cackled, to no one in particular. "My machine will draw upon the very souls of this realm, and their desires will fuel the Encephalotransference Process!" He turned to speak to Jimmy, who still was not there. "Or ETF Process, for short. Yes, I think that's how we'll out it for the Scientific Journals when they print my discovery!"

Electricity crackled and flared, sparks flying from large spherical electrodes. All across the realm, people felt a small tug on their minds, and sig dropped to his knees as their desire for his life became fuel for a mad experiment.

Elsewhere, birdwithteeth11 froze, arms rigid, as he was drawn into the air, terrified. Von Dreszenstein watched with glee on a remote viewing screen. "It's working, Jimmy!"

The energies grew in intensity, until finally a blinding white light flashed, and the machine went silent. The mad scientist watched and waited as birdwithteeth11 dropped to the ground, and slowly rose, looking at his hands. "What is this?" he said. "Where am I?"

Von Dreszenstein spoke into a microphone. "State your name please, for scientific posterity!"

He looked around, hearing the doctor's voice but seeing nothing. "My name... my name is Timmer... but this... this is not my body. What have you done?!"

"The ETF Process has been successful!" The scientist raised his fists to the sky. "At the cost of a single life, I have brought your soul back from the nether realms!"

"Um, I'm not dead!" Von Dreszenstein was surprised to see sig get up on his own remote viewing screen. "That hurt, what was that? Dr, what is this new power you have??"

"Not dead? Very interesting!" The doctor scribbled quick notes. "I assure you, this is simply a plot device, and not an action undertaken by my role!"

sig and Timmer both scratched their heads, not understanding, and walked away, each nursing sizeable headaches.

sig has not been lynched. Timmer has replaced birdwithteeth11.
