I'm willing to accept a tie between Dom and Drago. Ties are cool.

I looked at the roles to try to figure it out, but I couldn't.

Some players might be unsure of how this role works, so I thought it might be best to clarify it for everyone. Dragon D. Luffy Does this, in essence, make a vote for the Pit Bull like a role-check on him? Is the player notified that they voted for the Pit Bull? I assume this is only for the final vote at the end of the lynch, and not for moving votes?

Just some examples of questions players might possibly have.

I am also down with the Drago vote. Just the Day 1 lynch is enough to earn a vote, really. Rej pushed the lynch to me and away from Drago.

My thought was if half voted for me and half voted for JJJ. If the soft voter is on me, and JJJ gets lynched, then I thought I would be cleared as a dog and vice versa if Jay is a dog.

If you were a cat, and the voted was tied, then there would still be a 50% chance JJJ dies (if the tie-mechanic is a coin-flip). That's why it wouldn't have cleared you. You could have been taking the risk.

I think Fayt is a dog.

Scratch that - no way of knowing which player the softvoter is voting for, so we wouldn't know who to give the extra vote.

No one gets cleared in a tie. A lucky dog gets protected from lynch, that's all, or a cat gets even odds.

To clear someone, we'd need to see a 5-4 vote or something, where the 4 goes down. Maybe we should do that instead.

Fayt, you gotta vote for JJJ I think. You can't vote for yourself, it's too risky.

No reason not to put it on Fayt right now, I guess. But I don't really feel right on Fayt. JJJ is the person I have voted for before, and I'd rather be consistent in my vote, than to jump on to someone I have defended in the past.

That is correct, we can't use that role for better than a 50/50 coin toss shot. However, if the soft-vote is on a dog, then it 100% protects THAT dog from lynch. I think that's a worthy goal.

I wanted to suggest that before but I was worried that would be role fishing and put the person in danger though hm.

I don't think it's role fishing. We know which roles are here and which roles are dead. And it could be any voter on either side of the tie, so it doesn't particularly point to any one player to put them in danger.

I called it “as reasonably as something can clear me in a setup like this”. Clearly that was too optimistic. My interpretation of my own standing is colored by knowing exactly what I did with a clarity that nobody else can share.

I don't have any issues with going to the office and timing and all that.

To me, it comes down to this: Is the TSP experiment real, and it worked like a charm on the baddie team? I can easily believe that, and I like the experiment very much.

Or, is it a Master Plan that went too far and started looking suspicious? Did baddie JJJ deliberately set this "TSP is Civ" thing up from the start, just so he could nightkill him, expecting everyone to forget WIFOM and just applaud the plan and brand him Civ?

I mean, JJJ has been around a while. I don't know if he, as a baddie, would a) try that plan at all, and b) would remotely expect it to work on this ragtag group of conspiracy theorists.
