Idk, I haven't been paying attention enough to BWT to make a fair judgement. Can you tell me why YOU are suspicious of them?
Sure.
BWT came in and voted Hedgie, saying that Hedgie was trying to deflect suspicion on him by saying he fit the SK status (The SK started killing once he entered the game as a replacement for someone who had not been posting/playing). He came back saying he was not really into the game or something like that. To me both are scummy behavior but the comment of not being into the game really gets to me because it feels like he was someone who died as a civvie and came back to replace someone of another alignment and just does not feel as dedicated to that.
CBK came in probably 15 minutes or so from the MP lynch deadline when MP was tied with WOG in votes. He came in and I believe his first post said he was going to vote for me, however he did not vote immediately and MP was able to convince him to vote for WOG. This past phase he came in and said he was voting TH, and he did right away without discussion. This makes me think that CBK came in to save MP (they are apparently friends outside the site, so I would not put it past MP to ask his scumbuddy to come in real quick and save the day) but did not want his intentions to be known and said he was going to vote me but waited to be convinced otherwise.

Hedgeowl wrote:Ah ok. Well, so far no one who has actually voted for me has given much of a reason, and some none at all. So right now between Bwt and me I think there is a stronger case for bwt. I have been suspected of being the SK (due to my replacing in Day 3 and surviving an NK), Corp (along with TH, Epi, K4j, and CBK because of our votes for WOG, which for everyone except Epi was to save MP), and AH (because I survived an NK).Epignosis wrote:No, I don't. I think you're using your magical mind powers to influence people.Hedgeowl wrote:Do you not think there was any merit to the case on BwT? I think that is actually why people are voting for him. TH also noted some other worthwhile points and BWT didn't give much a defense at all. These all combined don't make him look great. So he looks like a pretty good candidate to me. Granted if by some chance he is lynched instead of me and isn't the SK, I won't last much longer.
Because when I make a case on someone and others vote for that person, that's what you claim. I'm manipulating people. I'm influencing thoughts.
Either way, I'm looking forward to this lynch.
For the record, I don't think that about every case you make. Just this one on me. There was lots of BTSC chat by Others in LOST about your recent high success rate lynching baddies and to watch out for you. Especially since you went for MR on Day 1 and he was subsequently lynched. So you have some influence, it's true. Similar to why some of us don't vote for Elo if you don't think she's bad.
This will certainly be an illuminating lynch. The chances of getting the SK this early in the game are slim, but still worth a shot since the SK is killing successfully every night.
Linki yes they are k4j
Dang, I forgot you survived a NK. I hope I did not make the wrong vote.
And thank you for the reply. CBK is now on my suspect list for sure.

So, actually, speaking of deflecting, did TH really follow up on Daisy's case a few pages ago? Because TH just got on and jumped on the I-am-now-going-to-help-solve-the-SK-wagon.
I have to vote now (not that that would be alarming in this lynch!), because I have to get on a train at 10 to midnight... on new year's eve. Yay. Also, I will be at a conference for the next several days, so unfortunately expect more lack of posting from me.
*votes TH*
I find this very interesting because at the end of the last day you came in and said you were voting for me, but you did not do it right away. You waited for MP to convince you otherwise. You don't care enough to wait this day phase, which makes me wonder if you got online last phase to save MP but did not want to look like it so came in with the intention of voting for someone else (me). I am curious as to if you know MP in real life and he called you in to save him.

Re: WWE MAFIA - Day 6
It is not impossible that Jenny/FWvidchick missed Night 1 and Night 2. So you are potentially suspect. You came in Day 3, and the SK started killing Night 3? So kind of the same boat as BWT. But BWT is now acting like a townie IMO, just want to get all the facts out there.Hedgeowl wrote:Hedgeowl's hunt for the SK:
The theory I am operating under is this is someone who was absent or not very active the first two nights. Therefore I started by looking at voting record as an indication of participation.
Missed Day 1: Bass, Dom, FZ, LouLou26, ReywaS, Russtifinko, WOG, and Zany Dex.
Missed Day 2: Dom, FWvidchick, ReywaS, TH, and WOG.
Dom, ReywaS, and WOG are the only 3 who missed both days, but Dom was killed by Triple H instead of Epi and WOG is absent. reywaS is the most likely option given that he was also replaced Day 3, by BWT, right as the killing began by Triple H. He also had a total of 5 posts up to that time.
Since then Triple H has killed FZ, Bullz, and Dom instead of Epi.
I do apologize BWT if this is not the case, but if you were civ before it's not a problem replacing an SK.

I appreciate you taking the time to analyze that, TH. I kind of see what you're saying but I am not saying that all of BWT's behavior is suspicious. If I vote, which I think I just may do, I will be voting because of his vote and his last post where he says he is not into the game, because I think that means he's now of a different alignment and is not as motivated. Though as a SK how wouldn't you be motivated? LOL!
I am curious to go back and reread Hedgies case against BWT. I want to know when Hedgie game back/when the SK started killing.

To me it seems like you died a civvie and came back to play for a different alignment, thus you can't invest yourself into the game. I can't fault you for that, but unfortunately for you, that's how I am feeling.birdwithteeth11 wrote:Honestly, I was just making a vote for the heck of it. For whatever reason, I've been completely unable to mentally absorb anything in this game (or in Shawshank). I feel like everytime I come back to read, I missed either a lynch or a night period ending. I'm not sure what's going on with me, but I just haven't been able to get my mind into this game at all. I'll keep trying, but I would possibly be willing to be replaced because of it. Although if I get lynched today, I guess that solves that problem as well.

At the time, MP was able to use my one weakness against me and that was emotion. I really do like MP, he’s the one player I really know outside of my fellow KSITE members, he invited me here and he was very nice and welcoming. When I saw how passionate he was, how much he was participating, and had people telling me that the things I was specifically suspicious of were not necessarily scummy on this site, I let the doubt sink in and wanted to save him. I don’t know if that makes sense to you, but that’s the truth.Bass_the_Clever wrote:I'm not sure yet. I just really don't understand how you play yet I guess. Just because I do not look up one thing such as a response to my suspicion does not mean it is not valid. I didn't mention you thinking she was trying to be OT because you have a reason, but if you consider the thread mix-up as to fall under this excuse then I don't think it is a good reason and I still do not like it.S~V~S wrote:Actually, i am rather busy tomorrow, Epi. And I thought Devin was bad before MP turned up bad. MP turning up bad did not make me feel better about him, tbh.
Linki @K4J~ I have been suspicious of Devin all along; at first it was a day one ping, but then when he did that thing where he kissed up to Epi, and said he would vote as Epi did, then voted BEFORE him struck me as a baddie tactic; having MP vouch for him and attack me every time I mentioned him and then turning up bad himself did NOT make Devin look better to me. And if you are going to vote people for reasons based on things you don't even remember or bother to look up, well, not sure what to say here.
i said at least a dozen times why i suspected Mongoose. I thought she was trying to evade answering a direct question in a game with a lie detector by constantly deflecting to OT. I have even speculated since then that perhaps she dislikes confrontation, and uses that mechanism to avoid it.

Well I stated before that I think your suspicion on Mongoose, specifically about her confusing the 2 threads was something that made no sense and felt like you were just taking advantage of her. You replied with something, but I forget what you said. But aside from that I remember not liking your vote for MP (now that is not exactly the concern since he was scum) but what you followed was with a "I just can't win" statement and I find those statements scummy. I think you made other similar statements but can't say because I am not 100% sure. At the time I let this slip and some of MP's begging comments because you both told me that these were not scummy statements on this site, or something like that. Since obviously MP's was I am thinking there is a big possibility that yours are scummy too.S~V~S wrote:Devin I could see, I am 100% behind you there. matter of fact~kneel4justice wrote:Well IDK about Hedgie but I am voting either SVS or Devin most likely.Epignosis wrote:Four votes Hedge. I'm sorry, I don't understand why you're not talking at night? I'd prefer to talk incise it is the last opportunity I have. Now my last post looks rude, because I did not follow your advice, and sorry if it is, it's not intentional. It is just not my style and I am not used to it. I believe if we have the opportunity to talk we should not waste time. I guess I just don't understand. No offense but I will continue to play my way.
Day 0 and Day 1 I let the negative feedback towards my actions dictate my game and in the end it had no reward as MP (one of my first suspects) was scum. So I will do what I feel is best for me in terms of my personal scumhunting.
This has nothing to do with negative feedback, and everything to do with trying to draw people out at night when they can be NKed. It's about painting targets on others, not about individual play style. Some of the more old school players here prefer not to talk much at night, or do the pointed question thing, as it is an extreme target drawer while the baddies are setting out night actions. Aggressive questioning at night is, well, I won't say "rude" but not really fair as all will not feel safe or comfortable answering, yet you will possibly call them out for not answering at some point.
it is not about 'personal scumhunting" but about "target painting". Like i said, you don't talk at night at all where you play. Here we do, but we have some etiquette about it, please at least consider advice when people offer it.
That being said I do see this post as trying to shut people down but I am not sure if that is what you're doing or if this is how you genuinely feel. I wish there wasn't so much cultural difference, it makes it hard to make a decision for sure.

What is very interesting is your attitude change. You entered Night 4 like you were going to die and had the attitude of confidence, now you're admitting you've been dead wrong about 2 players so far. I find this pretty odd, you only wavered in confidence when someone wanted you to make an actual decision, and it doesn't seem like a genuine confusion. I would have answered with a "Not sure, between SVS and MR" post. But you first avoided the question and then made what I would consider an excuse.Mister Rearranger wrote:@K4J: Right now, if you'd like me to be as spontaneous as I've been so far this game, I'd vote either Devin or Hedge. But I'm not sure why you're interested in my thoughts. I've been dead wrong about 2 players so far (Russ and MP).

No offense but I will continue to play my way.
Day 0 and Day 1 I let the negative feedback towards my actions dictate my game and in the end it had no reward as MP (one of my first suspects) was scum. So I will do what I feel is best for me in terms of my personal scumhunting.

I was not thinking about the phase.S~V~S wrote:Why are you going for committments during the night?
I wanted to see what MR would say, mainly due to the fact that half of the game he has been throwing away his votes. Don't you want some answers?

K, but that didn't answer my question.Mister Rearranger wrote:I guess that will depend on whether I'm alive when that time comes.kneel4justice wrote:Hey, who are you gonna vote when the days up?Mister Rearranger wrote:But were you suspicious for him?
Barring secrets, I do not believe Hedge was "protected" by a civ from Hulk.
If you are alive, who are you voting?

Does this mean you find Epi suspicious? Because of his statement?S~V~S wrote: After K4Js first post (or maybe first few posts) Epi said something like, "I am voting you immediately" or something to that effect. I thought he suspected him.

Hm, is that so? The thought actually crossed my mind in the earlier phases.Epignosis wrote:I was never suspicious of you.kneel4justice wrote:Never knew why Epi was suspicious for me. I thought it was because I was pushing for people to make decisions early on but now I wonder if he did not like the fact I was suspicious of MP.Epignosis wrote:I'll likely be voting for you Day 1.kneel4justice wrote:Right now I am most suspicious of MP. On one hand I feel like maybe he is just being welcoming and friendly, because he is kind of the bridge between KSITE and here.
But on the other I find him trying to be helpful. His posts are lengthy but there isn't any solid content/decision making which makes me think he is trying to appear townie like. But I am still not sure what to expect from a Day 0. I am going to quote something in a minute too. I'm multitasking. Lol

Re: WWE MAFIA - Night 5
A lot of people seemed to agree with the idea that KSITERS were too fast on MP, Dom said "This" to Devin's post.
Then Mongoose even agreed that MP was lynched often, but she is a known townie so I do not know how to take these comments obviously they're not all scummy.
