FZ, I felt so bad for you this game, but you kept playing as hard as you could even when the whole thread was against you, and that was awesome. Most people would have given up by then, some people basically admitted as much, but not you. Too bad you didn't get to play your game because of all the heat on you, that's always frustrating. But I'm glad you had fun anyways!

I do not think any less of Bass for using the excuse he did. Sometimes you gotta do whatever you can to win. I think he regretted his choice later, I just hope he learned something from the experience. I also think it's important to note that even if RL is affecting your mafia behavior, you really can't expect others to believe you about it, because time and time again baddies have used such circumstances to their advantage, and it happened again here. I try to not let RL circumstances affect my judgment on a player, but sometimes it does, and it's happened enough times now that I should know I can never give these players a free pass.

I just want everyone to know this, that if you bring up RL stuff to defend against an accusation made from me, I will probably work under the assumption that you're a baddie using the RL defense to get me off your case. It won't work on me anymore, baddies, so don't even bother. You've been warned.

Maybe I'll push it up to 999, then just leave it there. Pull a Dave Chappelle and just walk away.

Yeah man if I had voted for Daisy the detectives could have won. I wanted to save some votes for the following day because I thought even if I sniped Light we would still need to take out Mikami next, but you were already dead, so yeah. I could have won the game for the detectives if I had figured things out. *slinks away into the shadows*

I had 12 extra votes because DH and I are decoding gods. 8+ hours well spent.

Honestly I was just keeping up my pattern of voting early for dumb reasons :P It wasn't a power play at all, we didn't know he was L. I would have used my extra votes to save him that Day actually, but I was stuck at work when the massacre went down and I didn't get a chance to tell MP that I wanted to use my extra votes. I would have lynched Bass or myself in his place.

I really hadn't wanted to make that info public until I had a chance to utilize it, but MP forced us to reveal the rest of the role secrets at the end of the trivia game. I was hoping to reveal it at the end of a lynch and then snipe a Kira out of nowhere. Would have been a lot more fun that way, anyways :P

The only difficult part would have been convincing people to vote for me a second time and finding the Death Note; I got pretty lucky to find it so early. But winning wasn't the hard part, winning for the detectives was. And in that way I failed.

i... didn't even think of that. And yes, the detectives were one or two breaks away from stealing the game from under Kira's noses. I really wanted to try and get Light without him knowing I was onto him, which is why I voted for Zeek but put the extra votes on DP. I briefly thought Daisy was Higuchi but never considered her for Light, she snuck right past me. And after she helped me win I don't know if I would have been able to snipe her with the extra votes anyway, I was appreciative of her wanting to share the win with me.

This game must have been a nightmare to balance but I think MP did a fantastic job with such an experimental premise. Like I said, the detectives almost had it, it really could have gone either way.

I felt bad for DH, he was sitting around twiddling his thumbs all game. I'm glad he had fun with the decoding, that actually was a highlight for me too. He and I spent an entire fucking Saturday decoding all the additional secrets and I was happy to have all the extra votes to try and win the game for the detectives. But once DH and FZ died I kind of lost my drive to keep trying. I still put in some effort but more than anything I just wanted to win myself at that point.

I had so much fun playing this role and I know I will never be able to repeat this performance. Nearly 1000 posts, holy crap, I'll never be able to be that involved in a game again. I found Mello on night 2, my Death Note on Night 3, and got my first lynch on Day 4, so I was basically 75% of the way towards winning by that point. But I didn't want to half ass this great role so I kept playing hard. The Kiras just played harder. They definitely deserved the win, even though it was ridiculously hard to get rid of them.

Great game everyone, this was a classic, one of my all time favorite mafia games, so thank you MP for putting it together and reaching out to me to sign up. I won't miss any future MP games, that's for sure.

Why am I not surprised that Mata voted for herself

I think you made a good choice DP. I think Zeek's our guy.

I'm gonna vote for Zeek. Something about his back-and-forth with Boo earlier in the game stands out to me now. He never voted for Boo until the day Boo sacrificed himself. He voted for FZ the day we tried to lynch her, saying he was most convinced of FZ being bad, but once the lynch failed he seemed content to leave her alone. As we all know Rem ended up taking FZ out after that, because they knew she was one of the most important detectives. Zeek didn't consider at all that FZ could still be bad after her failed lynch, which doesn't make sense to me. I think he's on Team Light and just wanted to lynch FZ to make sure she was a role they needed to take out with Rem's kill. So here goes nothing.

I'm interested to hear who DP thinks we should lynch. Obviously lynching Mata is a waste of time, I would only vote there because you hinted that it would help your win condition Marshy. But you might just be talking about the win condition of your whole team And then there's Bass just begging to be lynched, not sure what to make of that. I didn't think he would actually vote for himself tbh :P

The fact that two Kiras are killing simultaneously tells me that the killers are Higuchi and Mikami, because Light or Misa would have to abstain from killing if another Kira is working. But then we also know Rem's Death Note went straight to Light. They must have handed it off directly to Mikami after that, no?

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the help. I was gonna have to try and derail this lynch anyway to achieve my victory, but this way is much more preferable

I'm pretty sure that a detective victory would require that I give up my own chance to win the game, in addition to other miraculous events happening, and unfortunately I can't get behind that. It was a close game though and I did what I could to help the detectives win. If Mello had had just one or two nights to take out some Kira bitches, this could have turned around quickly.

Thank you Daisy, I appreciate the kind words. Honestly I had been trying my damndest to win alongside the detectives all game, but I can confirm that our three most important detectives died at the end of the last lynch , and without them I'm not sure the detectives stand a chance anymore. We might have been able to make it work if Mello had survived one more night, but... I appreciate your selflessness in trying to help me win, and I will follow your vote.

You thought MM and Mata were bad but you followed their votes because you thought someone was trying to save Llama? Who was saving him? Three of your top suspects voted for him (including me since you've named me a top suspect). Your Llama vote makes no sense in the context of who your suspects are.

I don't know what's going on anymore Bass. All I know is you followed the votes of a gang of baddies to lynch L and you somehow didn't think that could possibly be a really bad idea.

Ah that's true Daisy. I hadn't considered that Higuchi would have had BTSC with Boo and agreed to work with them. You could be right.
