I tried purchasing one on the night Turnip Head was killed too, and learned that you couldn't sell a gun for $1 and buy an NK protection at the same time :fist:

I would have still been able to purchase it that night if the mafia hadn't destroyed one of my guns on a previous night. Well played there, baddies. I was hoping to get the last laugh though :haha:

My role checks were
N1 - JJJ
N2 - DDL
N3 - Roxy
N4 - Bass

I hinted to both JJJ and DDL in the thread that I knew their roles. Did either of you catch that? :mafia:

"It's cuz yo butt stank" is the greatest ending line of all time, but I thought rap #1 was overall more solid. The couplet that rhymed "diorama" and "llama" was particularly inspired.

Like I said, I reread her from Day 0, something I had not done before. I tried to read with both lenses on, aether writing posts as a civ and aether writing as a baddie, and I think the case on her being bad, especially her conscientiousness of how a Bass flip will make her look, is pretty compelling.

I'll of course elaborate if I make it through the night.

I seem to be everybody's favourite tinfoil hat baddie, and I can't help but wonder if it's down to what BWT has done before me? Which is one of those things, I suppose. But TH, if you can put your finger on specific things I might be able to respond to...

My own tinfoil hat baddie is DDL, and I don't think it requires that much tinfoil. But aether is front of my mind for tomorrow.
I'm not seriously considering it. For me it's the timing of BWT's replacement, it seems to coincide with the focus on BR and Roxy. Maybe the baddies thought they would need an active player to give them a chance in this game. Your contributions have been stellar, I like to think you're just a civvie that's on point.

DDL is cool in my book. I've liked his approach recently.

I asked Bass a question soon after he said this, but he didn't answer it:
Turnip Head wrote:Bass why do you think TinyBubbles was killed Night 3?
We've since had the discussion about this NK without Bass's input, but the fact that he didn't chime in here makes me think he's guilty.

While all discussion today has been about Bass with a sprinkling of G-Man, this is Bass's only post in the past 24 hours.
Bass_the_Clever wrote:This is an important lynch if the mafia were getting the stuff they need for an extra kill they will have everything after this night phase. So if there are two mafia left after this lynch that could mean 3 kills.
He notes that the lynch will be important for us (quite an observation for him to make, tbh), but gives no thoughts on where to go with such an important vote. :ponder:

The fact that he's not in here defending himself and trying to give us an alternative way for this lynch to go makes me think he's trying to hide. It's important to gauge reactions of players under pressure, and Bass is denying us that today. In his absence we're simply discussing him, and the longer we discuss his voting record and his words at their face value, the less inclined people will be to look his way.

Say what you will about G-Man, I agree he looks worse with every post lol, but at least he's putting up a defense and not just letting his votes do the talking, which is what I think Bass is doing.

For me, the thing with Bass is - and I guess the same could be said about G-Man - it's what he isn't saying, more than what he is saying, that makes me think he's bad. I think there would be more "meat" to his game, especially his opinion on Roxy, if he was a civvie this game. His contributions are bare bones, his opinions are all the right ones, and I think he's trying to coast through a talkative game.

I've said most of what I wanted to, and I've already voted for Bass. If the lynch goes G-Man's way I think that will be okay, but I personally feel more comfortable voting Bass first.

Solid analysis JJJ. In any case it makes me think Bubbles was killed because of her link to Bass, either to protect him or frame him. And since we know Roxy was a member of the team as well, and she was soft defending Bass (not like her hard defenses for Golden, Bubbles and splintsy), I have a hard time thinking the kill was meant to frame him.

You're making it sound like the fact that players have suspected her continuously throughout the game is more reason to lynch her over the more specific pings about Bass.
