It didn't have one while I was there. The marketplace was continually refreshed with new items.

The item I chose was the warp potion, which ended up being essential to kill Epi since I could track him down and warp to his location.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 16

I woulda checked out that island if I had had any time to explore. I knew there'd be something juicy in the hard to reach areas.

I spent my first few days wandering around a bit aimlessly. Went to J10 first because I thought there would be something neat in the corner, and found the dagger. Through Sorsha, I knew that I5 had the marketplace so I wanted to check that out. After that, all my moves were dictated by the team's mission. I teleported to Epi to stab him and take the Star Gem. Then I had a decision to make: head to the Healing Springs for the poison cure (thanks to Golden for the tip ;) ) or run to the Statue square to recruit Dom (thanks Epi for letting me know where he was :D ). I decided it was more important to recruit Dom since I still had the lynch pardon. I wonder how things might have played out if I had cured myself first and then recruited Dom. I probably still would have used the pardon to save timmer, but at least I wouldn't have been implicated myself in the process.

This was a really fun game, thanks for hosting. My role was awesome.
It was dumb luck that timmer ended up there with you guys. But we knew we had to execute the double kill if we were going to do it at all, for exactly the reason you mentioned.

So much had to come together for that to work. I found the Obsidian Dagger on my first movement, it was hidden in a black chest in a square named the Corner of Death :puppy: Then at I5 I purchased a warp potion which allowed me to instantly move to Epi's square and stab him in the face.

I think it makes a lot of sense actually. Mac voted for me and died right afterwards. As far as I can tell, looking at voting records and Mac's post history, Mac never voted for SVS, so the Golem could not have killed Mac if he's protecting SVS.

If there's one silver lining to being lynched today, it's that the Golem should have plenty of good targets after my role is revealed.

Good luck civvies

It has a very plain meaning. I gave you a link to both the definition, and then I explained exactly what I meant and why I said it. The fact you are still harping on it does not look good for you, in my opinion.
If you think it's possible that you can be "more or less" 100% sure about something, then you're the one who doesn't understand the phrase. I did not need the definition, I know what it means. You're using it wrong because those two things are mutually exclusive. You either think something is 100% true or you don't. It's basic mathematics.

More likely, I think you used "100%" to get people to think you had info, and then said "more or less" to give yourself an out. If you wanted us to think you weren't sure, you would have used a percentage less than 100. You used 100% several times that Day.

I don't know what you're insinuating. I read the thread. I was trying to figure out what Sorsha and Golden have been referring to. They say they want to lynch SVS but they need to lynch you first.

Then there's this post by Golden:

You can't be serious :stare:
You do know MMs role, right? Or believe you do?

Golden wrote:
Tranq wrote:I don't think anyone paying attention to the thread can be in doubt of MM's role.

Did you read the conversation i just had with Sorsha?
You mean... about how we get some circle and then double back on SVS later?

I would be up for that too... who do you think is the best first lynch if we go circle first...

The thing is... if SVS is trickster, and with MM in the field... I could see it being 3 v 3 right now, and one team has a potential serial killer. Thats why I think going that way isn't a bad idea. I wouldn't advocate then immediately lynching SVS the next day... its a tight needle to thread.
also this post
Tranq wrote:Cabal? Yes.
MM's role? No. The game can perfectly end with a civ win and with MM still being alive. MM wouldn't win, but the game would end :p
and this one
Tranq wrote:I don't think anyone paying attention to the thread can be in doubt of MM's role.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 13

After thinking on it more, you're right, I should not have even said anything :( The drunk is strong in this one. Help the civs Obi-Marmot, you're our only hope.

I only said it because I want to picture the terror in the baddies' eyes as their best laid plans go to shit by getting the facts wrong :haha: It's basic mathematics.

Why does everyone think you're protecting SVS, Marsh?

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 13

Wait, you guys think MM is the Golem, and that he's protecting SVS? Is that why you're voting MM over her?

Because I don't think the Golem is protecting SVS at all, I think he's protecting me :haha: The Golem killed Mac right after Mac voted for me.

MM, if it's true, and if I'm lynched, I know I can count on you to avenge me. Don't hurt my boy Draconus though, I think he's civ. I think Tranq fed him a pack of lies in square chat tbh. Hard to defend against these baddies if they're talking about me behind my back. Anyways I don't know that the civs have much of a chance after Golden led us like lemmings off a cliff, but maybe a serial killer on a rampage isn't the worst way for us to get back in this game.

The general assumption is that I am a non-civvie, non-baddie role or something.
Who can you win with?

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 13

See, I don't think Tranq is a civvie at all :ponder: I think he's on the same team as the Trickster, and they fudged Floyd's flip to lure us into a false sense of security. I do not think Floyd was bad, but he flipped bad, and Tranq was his harshest critic. As such, I doubt that team is only down to one member. His logic for going after Circle today is sound, but he's going after the wrong target in me, and he might have an ulterior motive in trying to keep SVS alive.

Tranq, do you know how you were rezzed? Who brought you back2lyfe?

Still waiting for someone to, like, build a case on me or something. Repeatedly calling me a baddie won't make it true.
