Re: GAME OF CHAMPIONS SPECTATOR CHAT
Sorsha has done more for the civilian cause than any civilian has, and they're about to cost her and themselves the game.

Re: GAME OF CHAMPIONS SPECTATOR CHAT
Well, I think "completely different" is a bit of a stretch, but fair enough.Long Con wrote:You mean sig?Turnip Head wrote:Did no one in the LC circle of trust think it was noteworthy that a civilian protector had already been revealed?
Gladius Mechaspark - A World Reborn~ Civvie
Each night, Gladius can invent a personal shield generator to give to the player of his choice. The shield can be used on any night to protect that player from all attacks. Gladius himself may only carry one shield at a time.
No, I didn't think that was noteworthy at all because it's a completely different role than a Protector.

Re: GAME OF CHAMPIONS SPECTATOR CHAT
The civvies are not playing well right now, but they're getting enough help from other sources that they're still in this. It's still anyone's game.

Re: GAME OF CHAMPIONS SPECTATOR CHAT
So there's more baddies than civvies atm. You'd think the civvies would be considering this possibility and would start examining everyone to find the 50% of players that are lying liars.
But nope, no one wants to talk about suspects.

Now that LC's dead, I'd like to know if this post has any significance for him:

On the bright side, your flip might have unforseen consequences for some of the baddies [/cryptic]

Re: GAME OF CHAMPIONS SPECTATOR CHAT
We wanted to give the role checker some sort of drawback, so someone from Death Note with the Shinigami Eye Deal made the most sense. Misa would have made more sense thematically, but Light felt like the more iconic role.MovingPictures07 wrote:Yeah, shame you died for sure, especially with that role. Nice inclusion of Light, btw, hosts.
Would have been fun as a serial killer role too though.

Re: GAME OF CHAMPIONS SPECTATOR CHAT
Yeah the Tranq lynch was not shocking to me for that reason (the Golden connection), but moreso that it was -ev compared to other lynch candidates. There was nothing to be learned about the game one way or the other, no matter how Tranq flipped. It was a filler lynch because players were scared to pull the trigger on anything more relevant.

Re: GAME OF CHAMPIONS SPECTATOR CHAT
Probably when I figure out how to add them. I don't know if we'll see Zeebs in here though. SVS and I haven't talked about what we'll do with dead baddies, I assume they'd want to stay in their chatrooms.MovingPictures07 wrote:Indeed, those both seemed like great roles and they are both players I enjoy watching / playing alongside!Turnip Head wrote:Sad to see Zeebs go, she's a fun player. But I'm especially heartbroken to see the Barry Allen role gone so soon RIP DFaraday.
When are they going to show their faces here?

Re: GAME OF CHAMPIONS SPECTATOR CHAT
The role was conceived before we fit it with the flavor. Other roles were adapted more faithfully. If I had thought about it or considered that Star Wars was going to qualify for this game I might have named the role Obi-Wan, but sadly Star Wars is the only 2015 game not represented in our setup
