I agree with this post regarding TH. I'm not fully caught up on today's posts and don't think I'll have time before the poll is up.

So at least one of Bass/SVS is guaranteed to be a civ?
Yeah... unless there was some strange target switching going on, I'd have to review the roles, not even sure it is possible.

DH- SVS had asked about what you thought about Aces switching his vote right at the last minute and I was also looking forward to your answer and what you think overall about him this game. Do you think he is civvie?

Aces- why did you switch your vote at the last minute? Did you really believe INH to be bad? What do you think of FH at this point?

I only read back that last couple pages but what stood out to me was the Dom vs SVS, obviously. I'm throwing down on SVS's side. I think Dom and MR are possibly teamies aaaaand other than that I'm interested in FH's suspicions as well. I think those are a few good places to look the next day. I didn't really review the case on Rey so I'm kinda indifferent there, hope he's bad though.

PB would have to be very careful how they voted since we could easily track them down if it was too close or a tie after a few votes. Since they were probably not voting for Llama or Sorsha it's a safer bet that they voted someone unlikely to get many votes or didnt vote at all. What gets me is why would PB vote JJ if llama were a big suspect? Since its likely they weren't on the same baddie team it would make the most sense to vote for llama and get "civv credit" for lynching a baddie. Granted at the time I didn't see the case on JJ and hadn't played with him before, where others really seemed to see something.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 3]

This is what FH rounded up on that particular situation. It does't have DH's post which said there was a tie but I could find it, or you can search his posts.
Flyin' High wrote:I went back to pull the posts on MR and john that Sorsha was talking about to see for myself how this tie conversation initially began.

FZ. wrote:Haha, why do we even bother voting. I really hope you are a civ, llama.

And that would be quite an interesting mafia game :srsnod:
I wouldn't hope that. It paints quite a target on him for baddies if that's the case. And if he's bad, based on the roles that can avoid lynches and how they can do it, he's likely vulnerable to the next lynch.

@boo: Will ties result in no lynch? Or will the lynch be randomized?
This was the post by MR asking boo how ties would be handled which makes it possible he knew the lynch was a tie and wanted to know how it was broken.
johns2jj wrote:
FZ. wrote:
johns2jj wrote:I did not no vote because it seems some hosts may react to that. I would rather not miss out on anything because I did not vote.
What do you think about llama's suspicions? Would you agree with him if it were someone else and not you?
I think he may have a grudge against me for how I played in the last game but I can't be for sure. He tends to make passable arguments for those he votes for but as admitted by himself he has lately been lynching civs. I do not know anyone's play style well enough to believe anything they say yet but if you feel he has made a good enough case than I can't dissuade you. I think he is most likely bad because he survived the kill when in this game someone breaks ties.
This appears to be the first post where john makes it seem like he knew there was a tie before anyone said anything about the possibility of a tie. Then Sorsha asked if there was a tie and john proceeded to make about 3 further posts on ties.

However, other than the penis envy prize, was there a way for a player to have access to an additional vote Day 1 that makes them likely to have been bad? Reading through the roles there is the person who starts with -2 votes and then night powers which cause vote manipulation, but I didn't see someone whose vote is worth 2.

I see Sorsha's case is that it appears both MR and john may have known about the tie in advance which can be indicative of teammates. I can't decide if MR's question means he knew there was a tie, or was genuinely curious how future ties would be handled?

Regardless, I am still wary of john for the reasons I've previously stated. I'm going to place my vote on john now but am curious to read other people's perspectives on this discussion and others.

And yes I am an overdefensive player at times so I wouldn't put it past some players who know that to try to draw it out of me on purpose.

I suspect him yes, but its mostly circumstantial.

After the day one lynch a couple of players (MR and jj) seemed to know that the lynch was a tie.... when nothing had been said in the thread about it being so. So I was thinking one or both of them had btsc with the player who made it a tie. DH being the card czar knew for sure it was a tie because he was the tie breaker (although he didn't say anything about it until 5 hours before the lynch ended) so he could have been the source of them knowing it was a tie (bts) also.

I would have preferred:

"The baddies in this game are just TOO GOOD."

Well unless you are Doin' it in the butt, I don't think you get a say. :haha:

1. Doin’ it in the butt: Each night, you may pick one player who must quote another players post every time they post (which they must do at least 10 times) the following day. In each post, the person you picked must bold a part of the quote, and the first line of their post must be ‘That’s what she said.’ in bold, it must make some kind of sense. If they fail to comply, you get to choose who they vote for in the following 3 lynches. Once in the game, you may make another player buttsore, putting 5 votes on them. Kills on odd nights.
So the same person who killed FZ is the one who gave this curse.

So who has a juvenile sense of humor and likes to kill the talkies? :ponder:
