I can only take mafia seriously about 50% of the time.

Asking players to stop lynching my teammates, I meant no harm behind it, but I do see the problem with it, and I'll be careful about that in the future.

To those of you who aren't used to it, it is a thing here. We even have <dead> tags for dead players to post in red. I hope you don't take offense to it. I was just bummed that I was lynched so early in this game, since y'all are a blast to play with, and that's the only way I can voice it.

I am interested to know why a couple of you find it rude or distasteful. I've never encountered that mindset before, so I'm genuinely curious.

I had bad luck with timing too. I thought this game would start well before Game of Champions would, it didn't. I also thought that the crazy game over on NF would take a while to fill up, but they cut 10 roles and started early instead. These three games starting right around the same time isn't quite what I signed up for.

I also want to see what Soneji plays like as a civilian. Haven't got much of that from him.

I wasn't informed of the Spectator chat until Day 6. I'm glad that it turned up a very strong presence from non-players and deadies alike though.

That's reassuring. Despite my inability to surive very long into games, I'm at least still good at not spewing my teammates.

I didn't know Golden had the map when I claimed to have it. I was going to claim regardless of who had it anyway.

I never said I'd vote for INH and marmot. I ISO'd both of them because it was suggested that I do and I came out reading them both as town.

I've seen no reason not to view marmot as town. He's provided his thoughts and been inquisitive at points in the game. Not all the time, but I wouldn't expect him to be. What reasons do you have to read him as bad?
1) His presence in the thread has increasingly diverged from his normal style, IMO. You might disagree but that's a general feeling I've had. Call this the gut portion of my reasoning.
2) My suspicion of him has a lot to do with INH and a couple other connections.
3) One little thing that pinged me was that jokey reference to the fakeslip after the night post, the "still 5 scum" thing. Someone, I forget who, teased him with "well how do you know Wilgy wasn't scum?" and I honestly think that's a fair catch. This is a rather weak point because it was just a joke so may not mean anything, but tbh I think it increases his likelihood of being scum because he automatically knew/assumed Wilgy wasn't.
4) I'm sure there was something else but it escapes me in the current frazzlement of the thread.

Plus, as I also said in that post where I decided to vote for him, I think that he will be a very productive flip in terms of determining other alignments; if he flips town I will feel kind of bad about it but we'll also still learn quite a bit. As INH has retorted to me, lynching Dys would have the same benefits, but (a) I suspect Marmot much more, and (b) would feel less bad if he flipped civ than if we lynched a civ Dys because Dys has been participating way way more than Marmot.
@ the highlighted portion, that was me. And that exchange is the closest I've come to suspecting him, admittedly. I thought it was a bit awkward that he thought I didn't know what he was referring to when I was expanding on what he had said, but I wasn't sure that made him bad.

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I've ever actually seen a scum marmot.

I'm having trouble finding this game. There was Mafia of Unfortunate Events where she was my mafia teammate. She was lynched Day 5 and had 87 posts while alive. Then there was Monkey Island where she subbed out Day 1 (or 2, sometime early). But she was a civilian in that game. You were in both of these games, which is why I mention them.

That makes more sense. I don't get how I would personally benefit from suspecting a person, but I get that it impacts other players' reads. But I tend to play better under suspicion, so
