I'm probably going to break the rules and go back another 20 years before my life began.

Here's my list. It took quite a bit of time to construct. I wonder how much crossover there is between mine and others.

A quick glance, and I see that Jay also had Tool's "Lateralus" and Ricochet also had TMV's "Drunkship of Lanterns". Cool!

Well, it's post-1989, so it's probably all awful anyway.

I still haven't gotten to this one bit. I blame it on the Lagavulin.

It may not be the greatest music of all time, sure, but the best of 1992 is still the best of 1992 regardless of what happened in other years.

But I've forgotten about a whole bunch of bands until I was scouring my library just now. Eric Johnson, Rusted Root, and the Infectious Grooves all put some good music out in the early 90's and I'd completely forgotten about them.


I don't really listen to anything that isn't a form of rock, so you won't see any classic Hip-hop on my list. :P

This is going to take forever. I've got each of 1989 - 2002 narrowed down to about 10 songs or so for each year, and I don't think I could narrow them down further without listening to them all.

I'm not complaining by the way.
