We also have a oft-used rule of no info-dumping or role-outing. This and the no reveals of nightkills would presumably hurt the civilian cause, but this is countered by a town-team with a lot of power roles. It is very uncommon to get a vanilla role on this site (outside of heist games).
It also pushes a different strategy for civilians. You can't rely on info by itself to uncover the baddies, but must rely on your own scumhunting abilities and analysis.
Each host is allowed to create their game and employ their own rules, but many people who have hosted here lately came from a mafia culture with this mindset.
