I've seen it twice I suppose. Once you were a sock and acted like S~V~S instead, the person you were playing as. The second was the last game on RYM where literally every player was mafia.

I don't think we've ever had a game of 40+ players here at the Syndicate, except perhaps the Annual Game of Champions. Other than that, role madness is a thing here, just in a different capacity perhaps. But you'll see it mainly in our Full games. Also, I signed up, forgot to earlier.
We like playing ability chess alongside playing detective or the deceiver. This has caused the more casual of our community to become ability reliant at times(which hosts have designed their games to punish with trickery abilities) but there is still those that can balance the core game and the added layers.
