Because I thought you were indistinguishable from every other game you played.

There are two comments however that I'd like to make in respect of the game:

Firstly, after Night 2 I got a message from Capt Ollimar who signed it off with; "To anyone reading this journal... I wish them well and I think they are beautiful!!!" I reasoned at the time (somewhat naively) that Spacedaisy was Capt. Ollimar. SD, after that, you started doing and saying things that I felt conflicted with that assumption and that is when I started to waver a little in my opinion of you as a member of the Town. Clearly, the message here for me is that you alone do not have a monopoly on being complimentary and generally a simply lovely human being. My sincerest apologies to Dr Wilgy for selling you short.

Secondly, I really struggled to comprehend why any of you thought I was Mafia... The way I behaved in this game is classic 'Town Me' so if you doubt my sincerity, I think it will cause a problem at some point. Especially, I didn't get Typhoony. You KNEW there was someone out there who knew your identity. Early on when a number of people started voicing their suspicion of you, I'd not have thought it a big stretch for you to reason that someone who might defend you (or at least deflect the suspicions of others - as I did) just might have been Alph. In any case, it's a good thing you were eliminated by the Mafia when you were - if I'd had to read one more post where you were defaming me for likely having been 'bad', you'd have been hearing from my lawyers!

I think the crucial faulty angle was accepting that Glorfindel was bad and going from there. I trusted you Brit!

Brit gathered me first, then fed me. Typh gathered me second and then sexually molested me.

We knew at that point that Glorf was a Protaginist thanks to our own info-gathering. We were considering nightkilling him, but luckily the civs did it for us.

I have no idea why he listed me so highly on his civ list though.

Good game Spacedaisy and Epignosis, and the rest of you civs. You had us reeling a couple night periods, especially when not much was happening early on in the game.

I do want to ask MM one question though, if you get back here today: You were pretty suspicious of Epi most game, and it looked like the curse made you change your mind. At least it appeared that way when you voted for someone else, I forgot who it was. Would you say you're still suspicious of Epi, or is it only to save yourself? Because let's face it, if it's the latter and you're a civ, that's a pretty lame thing to do at this stage of the game.
If I'm being honest, I think MM's sudden vote for me makes him look better, not worse. I don't believe he'd phone it in like that if he were bad.

I wasn't phoning anything in. I just got caught up in family madness (in a good way), and lost any chances to sit down and play mafia.

As another eye-witness reported, the reindeer in Spain was hit mainly by the plane.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I also think he's faking it. Furthermore, I don't see any roles with cursing abilities on the role list. Unless it's a hidden role or hidden ability, which isn't impossible.

With regards to Wilgy he's barely been here in the last few days and only really participated in discussion to say that he's sorry for not participating in discussion more. If he's really just been afk and he were a baddy we probably would have seen fewer NK attempts but that hasn't really been the case. If we believe him, then he's probably civvy. He could also be lying about being busy to cover up more nefarious activities at night, but I think the former is probably more likely.

Boomslang I don't know. I need to go back and examine more posts to get a proper read. It's been hard to follow all of this through finals week.

Einstein, Newton & Pascal are playing hide and seek.

A Boomslang

A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest.

After a moment or two, the vet shook his head and sadly said, "I'm sorry, your duck, Drake, has passed away."

The distressed woman wailed, "Are you sure?"
"Yes, I am sure. Your duck is dead," replied the vet..

"How can you be so sure?" she protested. "I mean you haven't done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something."

The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room. He returned a few minutes later with a black Labrador Retriever. As the duck's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head. The vet patted the dog on the head and took it out of the room.

A few minutes later he returned with a cat. The cat jumped on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room.

The vet looked at the woman and said, "I'm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck."

The vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman.. The duck's owner, still in shock, took the bill. "$150!"

She cried, "$150 just to tell me my duck is dead!"

The vet shrugged, "I'm sorry. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been $20, but with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, it's now $150."

How do you feel about Boomslang and Wilgy agleaminranks? You've never talked about them before. I'd like your opinion on them

@ FZ.: You're also from Europe, yes? We can talk tonight if you're around. I think Epi suspects Boomslang because Boomslangs votes on Epi don't have anything to do with Epi alignment based stuff, nor has he really followed through on that suspicion. Boomslang has also tried to make people think that Epi's posting restriction is not real.

I have a couple of people I could see myself vote... Boomslang and agleam mostly for now, but I want to talk things over.

@ MM: Can we have some thoughts from you on the game?
